I have to say this. If don't understand jazz don't start with this. If you're having problems with math don't try listening to a lecture on calculus. Start with things within your reach. Listen to Louis Armstrong or some 1950s Cool Jazz (Miles Davis was very lyrical in his approach). Those are great starters for beginners.
