Sonic booms correlate with interrupted development of heart valves in gestation and heart defects in infants born near airforce bases (before they.became illegal)
I was just staring into the ocean on Daytona beach and watched this happen. I wasn’t expecting it and it was awesome ! Certainly a sight to see on family vacation
I have to agree. It''s very cool, no matter how many times one watches. I've been watching space ;launches since the 60's - and I love it all. What is REALLY COOL is watching the boosters return to Earth and land themselves!
@@Siddy22 Do you mean the boosters did not land on Earth? If so, the Saturn 5 boosters fell to the ocean and were recovered for another flight. I think so.
In 1969 I had the privilege to see the Apolo 11 to land on the moon and the return to home.I never forgot that moment.I was 10.Now I admire this Space x programs and I proud of what they achieved. My car have a logo of Space X company.
What is being shown is just a glimpse of what has been going on for over forty years, this example is about thirty years old and has been superceded by about ten to the twelfth power.........😮
We were out for a walk and saw the boosters split, the second stage ignite and the boostback burn all the way from Fort Lauderdale area! That was SUPER cool!
If you are like me and you grew up watching those old scifi films from the 50's and 60's you know that SpaceX makes true spacecraft. They land on planets on their arse.
This was the first launch I've ever seen. And I did it by accident! I had just entered EPCOT, and I was standing just in front of Spaceship Earth (the giant golf ball) and I saw up until MECO. Amazing. I need to see more, and from closer.
Saw this down in Naples. Had no idea what the hell I was looking at until I came here thinking it might be a SpaceX launch. Definitely gonna have to keep an eye on the future launch dates. Lol
Too far north bruh....what you probably saw was a sexual deviant driving an ice cream truck or something similar! Common misperception nowadays cuz of what happened.....
The other night I was standing outside of my house unaware of this launch. I live about two hours away. I looked up in the sky and I saw what appeared to be a plane on fire. I didn’t know what to think. I thought we were either getting attacked by missiles or a plane was crashing. But then when I continue to see this little red dot go deeper and deeper into space I said “oh shit… Did I just witness a rocket launch?“. I have never seen one of these before. It was a very cool experience.
I am now 72 years of age and watched the Eagle landing on the moon with the very same hope for mankind's exploration of space. I am still waiting, no Moonbase, no Mars landing, only telephones' that follow you around like a Bloodhound and TV with all those bloody endless advertisement's ! Elon Musk has rekindled that hope with his reusable rockets. Now I know that space is ours for the taking.
"Great callout there", and "Great callout there", and "Great callout there", and "Great callout there". It's almost like you think we can't hear and understand what the actual workers said a second ago.
The only aspect of the Falcon9 booster landings I find incredible these days is that the Engineers who designed and still operate the vehicle still whoop and scream cries of joy every landing...!!!??? SpaceX has revolutionised space launch and stands alone at the TOP for everything space Launch. Falcon9 booster landings have become so routine, safe and reliable that I am surprised they don't just yawn, and say yeah, we did it again....!!!!! Just AWESOME SpaceX...!! 👏👏👏
It took me a second to realize what I was witnessing while driving down US 1 coming through Hillard, FL. I was excited to see it once it clicked🤔😃, for a minute I was concerned. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️😂😂

Does anyone know where the control room that they show is versus the launch and landing areas? Because i cant figure out why it looks like daytime there but nighttime from the bideo of the rocket.
WOW. This is just crazy. It seems like just yesterday the 1st ever rocket to return from space and land on a dime and here we are with a merry Christmas and successful landings of rocket #'s 257 & 258th .. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Never. Gets. Old.
Well done to all at SpaceX! Wishing you all the best for 2024!
I’m in Orlando and I saw it for myself and heard the sonic boom it was truly amazing and a great experience at 13 year old
always cracks me up, when i grew up everybody called it a sonic boom,
*_Sound Boom_* i guess is too funny
Congrats kid, you have peaked

Watching those boosters land in person is on my bucket list!
Went to go see the first falcon heavy and it got scrubbed and I had to leave and go back to work. I was bummed out.

I wondered when the X37B was going back up.
It was actually delayed, it was supposed to go up earlier in December, weather issues prevented the previous launch if my memory is correct.

Watch a Saturn 5 launch.
How do the sode boosters get back to the launch site after traveling roughly 50 miles off downrange ?
Boostback burn
Where is the core stage? not recycling it anymore?
Occasionally no attempt is made to land a booster, the core booster was never planned to be landed,
SWEET!
They need to allow a public watching gallery close to the booster landing - would be a blast.
You mean the illegal space weapon?
Did they save/land the center/main booster? Or was it ditched in the Alantic?
Idk man probably landed due to landing legs present on the booster

Why doesn’t SpaceX recover Falcon Heavy’s center core anymore? Is it really hard to land the center core with it’s remaining fuel left?
They do sometimes. Most times, they use up that fuel for an even higher orbit.
This was a special case. Space Force ordered the core stage unrecoverable. You want to know why? Phone the Pentagon.
