What a great way to play with your stamps! I was just looking at mine yesterday thinking I needed to use them, this would be fun. You are so creative! TFS, Mary
The first time I saw Julie Nutting girls I fell in love. I have her book and for the past year I've been collecting her stamps. Thanks so much for sharing a new idea of using the stamps.
Good Evening Sara - Thank you for this inspirational video , I came across it while searching for ideas using the fantastic prima doll stamps.I love the book you have made and I am going to make a similar book .- your idea about the seasons or monthly book gave me a few ideas I thought I would share with you. Firstly to make an address type book each page for each of my friends and family with contact details and customize each page with thoughts and stamps that remind me of their personality and favourite things and make the dolls in their style and hair colour etc.The second idea was to make a flip over calendar for my desk to remind me of important dates that is visible to remind me. I will have to check online for more of these stamps that you have used as some are not available in the UK yet, Thank you so much for your great channel ( i have subscribed ) for more ideas like this.Kind regards from England and a fellow crafter. Jill
Wow Jill, Those are some great ideas, I think you are gonna be busy for a while, LOL. I'm glad you enjoyed my book too, and thanx for subbing my channel, Sara
This is so cool! I always love your project shares...very inspiring! I've been wanting to try an album of some kind with my Prima Dolls. I saw Stampyra's book too - it was beautiful as well. TFS!!
Your book is lovely. You used some of my favorite papers from K & Co. Your dolls came out great. I love all of the little details like the leggings on the one with the hat. Your collage backgrounds are wonderful. I am working on another book with my new dolls. I may have to get some of those houses. I love your idea of doing a monthly page. They go perfect with the dolls. Thanks for linking to my channel! JIL
Hi JIL, you have so many beautiful projects on your channel, I'm always inspired by them. The houses are a penny black set called "victorian houses" . I hadn't used them yet and just threw them in but people really seem to like them. Thanx for watching, Sara
OMGosh Sara, I love love love your book! I saw Stampyra's album and loved hers too, but I really like how you did the collage stamping with yours. Now I'm totally inspired to make one of these too! TFS!
Hi Tara, I Hope you are feeling better. The collage technique is alot of fun, but it is actually alot of work for such a large project. Thanx for watching, Sara
Really pretty book! Love the collage stamping...it's like making your own custom design papers...I gotta give that a try sometime. I love your dolls, I don't have any yet, but I love them!! TFS. :). Lisa
Hi Lisa, These dolls are pretty addictive, you just keep buying them,LOL. Just try the collage technique on a card first, because this book was alot of work. TFW, Sara
I realize you posted this a bit ago, but I just saw it and I LOVE it. I will go watch the other videos you referenced, because I am not familiar with the collage stamping technique. I don't really have very many Tim Holtz stamps sets so I hope I can do it! Anyway, I ordered the Prima Doll Stamps with the die cuts, as well as the stamp set that has the accessories. I would be more than happy to stamp or die cut some and send them to you to use if you would like. I am moving in two weeks, so all my crafty stuff is packed right now, but if you'd like that, just let me know and as soon as I get moved I will get them out to you. Thanks so much for showing this and for all the inspiration. I will never make anything as lovely as this, but I will give it a go!
Hi Maureen. You can try the collage stamping technique by making a card using any stamp set you have. Thats very nice of you to offer. I just ordered 2 more of the girls and For now I don't mind fussy cutting, I would love to see what you create. TFW, Sara
Hi Sara i saw this tutorial & thought it was amazing, you made a beautiful book & i think we all are addicted to Sari Hanninen she is amazing aswell with all her creations. i looked everywhere for these house stamps..... came back to watch your tutorial again & look through the comments there it was my question answered "Penny Black" postage to Australia is expensive but worth it i have subscibed to you & hope to see more of your beautiful work :-)
debera carl I think I actually got them from a vender in the states. I don't remember exactly. I think I just googles it and found them that way. TFW, Sara
This came out sooo pretty, love the houses on the 3rd page. Tfs, hugs :)

Man, what a great use of stamps... I love your book.... I'm glad I inspired u 2 do this... Now it's your turn 2 inspire me to think outside my box - and start working on the other prima doll stamps that I got a few weeks back, and have still 2 use... :-)... ooops...
I love how you mix things up. I'm new to art journaling and I love watching videos of other people creating theirs but when I go to work on mine I find myself trying to match EVERYTHING on the page, like the saying with the doll with the background and I just freeze up. I love those houses. I'm going to have to get them.
+lollymom87 Well it doesn't come naturally to me either. It can be really frustrating and that's no fun, LOL. I think I am finally getting my style, TFW, Sara
I gave up on Stamping when I realized that 90 % of people do it to promote the supplies they sell & then it became out of my reach financially. But when you said in your vid about some sentiments "Believe in your dreams, Blah, blah, blah", I did a real "LOL". Then you admitted to doing THIS project just to have some "fun" again, which you had gotten away from because you had been busy with the selling of stuff I thought, "Ah. She's funny, creative AND honest." So thanks for sharing YOURSELF with us: the most valuable thing you have, Crayons & our imagination can take us ANYWHERE!
Hi Sara! I just found your video while just browsing through some journal videos here on youtube. I love your affirmation journal and I have a question for you (sorry if you have already answered previously). I am brand new to journaling so if this question seems silly I apologize in advance, but I would love to do the words and phrases like you have cut out and placed on all your pages but I don't know how you do such great lettering...my handwriting is HORRIBLE and I would love to do all kinds of words and phrases and cut them out as you have...how do you do that? I have never done anything digital and don't have a clue, plus I can't find any stamps that have phrases and if I did, I bet they would be pricey...can you share your technique so that I may be able to add words and phrases to my own journal pages? Thank you so much! Your work is really awesome and I love your videos! Take care!
Love your version of the book Sara.....I did see Sari's....I'll check Stampyra's and Jan Gray's....I'll have to make one of these.....TFS......What are the name of the Penny Black stamp of the houses that you used......??......Ms_Dee

Sherlene Holloway I really didn't use a set size for this one. I just made the pages big enough to fit the Prima dolls and used black cardstock for the base. I had some khaki Neenah card stock I wasn't using, so I used that for the stamping. TFW, sara
WOW , what a beautiful book, great idea. You are gifted and very creative. Thanks for sharing and may you continue with new ideas! .... COLLEEN

This is so cute. I wanna do one. I get too many ideas and spend way too much money. Lol.
I agree. So much inspiration and not enough money or time, Sara
I am now working on a Prima doll book...although I am no artist! Could you tell me how you did your dolls' skin?? Thank you.
