You are amazing! I love how you colored the dark skin and curly hair! You ROCKED it! I really enjoy your art journal pages and I look forward to them each month.
I've got to say thank you for the variety of girls you made! It's really hard to look through a lot of people's stuff sometimes because there's usually no variance in the people being depicted and I just want to say thank you for the range of skin tones in your work. :)
This was fabulous and fascinating! Not sure how I missed all these Julie Nutting doll pages, but I feel like finding them is like hitting the jackpot. Back when there was only the Julie Nutting book helping you draw your own dolls I fell in love with them. I worked a little on that and then, new crafts vied for my attention, I moved on. Now, I'm tempted to pick it up again. Thanks! Hoping there is enough interest for you to keep sharing these in 2016.
Beautiful job! I'm an artist and photographer. You did a wonderful job with the curly hair, not to mention all the other hair styles. As an artist and a women of color it can be very difficult to achieve a natural looking curl. PROVO!
Don't take this wrong, I lOVE how you color the girls and the clothes, and I have learned so much from you, but you blow me away with the backgrounds you create for these pages! I wish I had your imagination to come up with backgrounds like yours! I would give this a thousand likes if I could! Love how you explained and showed us the curly hair, I struggle with that so much and yours came out so beautiful.
I just want to say you're extremely talented yes , marvelous work but I must commend you on all of the dolls and versatility , thank you so much for that , God bless you !
i love this double spread! surprise!!! it's a double!! ha ha!! the coloring is awesome - super fabulous, as always! and i totally love the bright and bold patterns of their dresses!!
Nichol I just love your doll art journal pages...this one is AMAZING! I have to say that you are the inspiration that drove me to become addicted to these dolls LOL...I just purchased 5 yesterday, I am still new to coloring them but learning slowly...I also have the SSS kit and I am going to use that for the dolls moving forward...thank you for the inspiration....your amazing
THANK YOU, THANK YOU! THANKYOU for doing these videos!!! I have learned so much from you and I just love how you bring such fun and whimsy to these stamps. I know many if us have moved on from them, but you always make me want to bring mine back out and start playing with them again. Also I would like to say another big thank you for doing darker skin tones, as I struggle when I try. Now I have a something to go on and great color combinations to work with. Please continue this series. Tfs~hugs
Marie Howsie You're very welcome and this series will at least last throughout the year and maybe next if the interest continues. I appreciate all your kind comments! Have a super day!
OMG. I love how u decorated these dolls especially the curly hair and the brown skin tones. Thank you! I love how you decorate different types of ladies. Subscribed!
This is beautiful work. I think your dolls are the best I've seen. I really think you need more "likes" based on the number of folks viewing your video - it's fabulous! :)
I just discovered your Paper Doll videos. Absolutely wonderful. Where are the doll stamps available? My adult daughter and I have been coloring in the newly popular coloring books but find them a little boring after while. These would be a great new project.
Thank you for sharing how u do your dolls, im struggling with fuzzy cutting. My black marker is bleeding into the legs. What marker do u use? Hybird ink, i just heard. Im a perfectionist, if not perfect i dont like it. 🤦🏻
I enjoy these videos so much! Have you ever shown your journal with the pages inside after you finish them? If not, would you consider it in a future video? Thanks!
Another great video . U have turned me into a crazy Julie nutting doll fan . I cannot buy enough of them .... Thanku .. What I would like to know how do u fine using copics on the paper u are stamping on ? I'm use to using blending paper so curious ..
kristyn mcinnes I only use "good" paper for all my other coloring as well. Some paper is better than others, the thicker the paper weight, the better. I have only had issues with one paper I used and I haven't used it again since. I say, stick with a heavier weight patterned paper and you should be fine. HTH!
Hi Nichol- I too am a big fan of your prima doll journal pages. Very inspiring! I was wondering what you meant by Lemonade stand is design id 41493? would love to get one of these sets, where can I buy one? Many thanks!!!
+Hyde Edwards The Lemonade Stand is a design for the Silhouette die cutting machine found in the Silhouette Online Store. www.silhouettedesignstore.com/
In regards to shading, do you always use grey colors? I ask only because I see other people use colors for shading but I really like how it looks with the grey. it gives it a different look, but I am new to paper dolls and really would like to get into it but don't have the money to buy all the different copic markers. Which colors would you recommend? Please let me know. Thank you!
creationsbyjsheri Thank you! The text paper(s) I use are all from my stash and many are no longer available. I've just come across your videos and im very very surprised that you've chosen to do these marvelous paper dolls in skin tones which includes color. As another person commented that that's not readily done so i often will learn a technique but will not subscribe. Your ahead of the game and your work is superb.
So adorable. I could watch these all day. Wait, I have been watching them all day!
They are absolutely gorgeous. Your binder is cute too.
Since I mainly scrap, I'm new to the doll stamps. I'm inspired to play after watching this. Thanks for the fun video!
