The Enneagram is very ancient that dates back thousands of years and linked to Sufi history. Many people have written about this. Helen Palmer in the 70's. Beatrice Chestnut has many brilliant teachings on this personality Styles. I find Catherine's comments quite meandering. I dont think she has the right to say who is right or wrong...or the main authority..
i believe your life path is partially predetermined even before birth, old souls tend to gravitate to deeper meaning and understandings to life in general.
Gurdjieff took it from a Naqshabandi Great Master . This is a fact . And that Great Master taught that the roots of Eneagram go back all the way the Uwaysi teachings. All the way back to 7th century Arabia .
Dr Saad how's about an update on Empaths. Total confusion are we borderline personal disordered. Overwhelmed by the latter view and seeking more balance in the argument.
