I have to say you chose a very good spot for your base, because, where you are is full of herbs and aloes which you can gain from harvesting (wild collection), also if you can reach clay, then you re set up, this can be your production base and then you can make outposts.
Hi ... don't you need a breeding pen close by and assign someone to the breeding pen ? I think that's how they get stuff from the Turkey Pen. It took me a while to figure out but think it started working once I had a Breeding Pen.
I had the issues with the animal pins too. I found that if you tick it down 1 under max, your tribe member will start harvesting them regularly.

Yup! You need a breeding pen to farm animals
Did u know that u can select wether u want to use acidic fluid or compost .. u don't have to use both items to make one thing..
