It always bothered me that Chuck said "Stealing them blind" instead of the common phrase "robbing them blind." I just realized that stealing and robbing are legally distinct terms. Jimmy didn't use force or violence, he used stealth so technically he stole not robbed. As if Chuck could ever make such a mistake. A great detail on the writers part.
I think it emphasized the absolute oh shit factor of the whole scene and I very much appreciate it as well. It was also predictable in a very good way, when the violas came in it made my heart pump because it reminded me of all the episodes that scared the piss out of me when I was a kid. The point isn't that Chuck was right about Jimmy, even though he was right. It's that Chuck accidentally revealed that the entire trial was just a sham to cost Jimmy his law license because Chuck hated Jimmy and could never accept that he could be a good lawyer.
I think Chuck mean Jimmy could change for good, but sociopaths just can't control who they are. Jimmy technically did no change, he just evolved in the same path as Saul.

The choice of tense music throughout this, perhaps even tenser than any of the music you chose for the Breaking Bad episodes, really adds to the true guttural hatred, tragedy, agony and horror that this scene produces despite some of these tragic, frightening elements being invisible to the naked eye. It's a life-long relationship between two brothers falling apart, and in the worst way possible. On top of that it's the permanent death of Chuck's chances with his ex and the first step towards a falling out with Howard, leaving him eternally rejected and alone. Everything that happens here changes the life courses of everyone involved, and while I've watched this scene so many times with memes to the point it's just "a sick joke", the accompanying music really reawakened the brutal and devastating nature of this encounter, Bravo, SkeloDevil.

*So this was my first experience watching this scene.* I stopped watching the show years ago, around Season 3, it was a little too slow to keep my attention week to week. Cut to last week, show ended, memes everywhere, I see this one, super engaging scene, I remember the story, the music only enhances the scene! I decide to pick the show back up, I watch a recap, and find the last episode I watched, was the one before this one. This episode is considered one of the best in the series, and had I just watched *one* more episode back then, I probably never would have dropped it. *So this was my first experience watching this scene.*
I stopped watching the show years ago, around Season 3, it was a little too slow to keep my attention week to week. Cut to last week, show ended, memes everywhere, I see this one, super engaging scene, I remember the story, the music only enhances the scene! I decide to pick the show back up, I watch a recap, and find the last episode I watched, was the one before this one. This episode is considered one of the best in the series, and had I just watched *one* more episode back then, I probably never would have dropped it. But this meme is probably the main reason I picked BCS back up, so thank you for this.

The music at 4:00 onwards really adds to Chuck's crazy rant. Has a "The Shining" feel to it.
an isolated battery has no current flow, its just sitting there and thus emits no EM energy. So chuck (if he were right) would indeed feel nothing, because the battery was inert. If the battery were in a simple appliance with leads on the battery contacts there might be a little standby current or leakage and then there would be an electrical current.
The music that plays while Chuck is on a rant is quite fuckin creepy. It's like he's channeling Arthur Fleck at the hotel in The Shining.

You know, all of the sound effects really highlight how crazy Chuck sounds. Like the whole, "He defecated through a sunroof!" He sounds so unhinged, and it's great.
Masterfully done. Instead of just using silly music, you actually had tension, SFX and the logo. Small details like these are always nice to see.
