I have all 6 color variations of them (2 special editions) + the green land one. They wear like a seiko turtle in size, just more heavy. The black stealthy is my favorite. - Nice rubber strap also, like in new seikos. You are getting what seiko has to offer in half the price. A big fan of japan watches, myself. - Nice review - spot on. (removing the crown guard, leaves the watch without character - just my opinion).
All 6! That’s mad haha😂 I agree about the turtle and the stealth option is nice for sure. Orient has for sure jumped in to the matket gap that Seiko is somewhat leaving behind. Maybe that’s a tactical move by the Seiko corp since they both are part of the same conglomerate, who knows. Thanks for the compliment! I’m interested in trying it without the crown guard but I can see what you mean!
Nice review of the 4th generation M Force. The first M Force series was produced in the late 1990s so the new models are a continuation of Orients' history w/ dive watches.
I recently got a slightly worn one of these from Amazon warehouse for £165.00. Everyone talks about the Kamasu, Kano and to a lesser extent the mini Triton. This is a notable step up in quality over the others plus it's ISO certified yet nobody talks about it. In my opinion it's the best diver in their current range. It kind of reminds me of an automatic gshock.
The only dislike is the collar and pins used to hold the bracelet. As lost 2 of the very small collars dropped to the carpet, impossible to find.. Luckily they were for the links I was removing.. Since then I have fitted a nato strap which for me makes the m-force more fitted and comfortable to wear with less bulk than the stainless bracelet it comes with. .
Good review. The previous generation was also ISO 764 anti-magnetic and ISO 1413 shock-resistant certified. Does anyone know if this generation is also ISO 764 and ISO 1413 certified?
I'll try to get to the bottom of that! (no pun intended) Let's see if I can confirm. I'll let you know what I find out in the full review that I plan on making as soon as I have the time!
@@NordicWatchChannel Looks more like a light blue - turquoise on the reviwed model. On the LE is like a lime green glowing kinda light. 100% not the same lume colour.
The turning action? It’s pretty good! Bit of a loose and hollow feel like on the SKX if you know what I mean. But still maintaining a more solid feel👍🏻
you think orient has learned a lesson from the seiko tuna can and adopted a short lug to lug. would have enticed more buyers from the small wristed guys
Haha that pretty much sums it up😂 Same here. We’ll see how it looks without the crown guard! I’m curious because that will lower the diameter to ”just”45mm🤭
Haha well put! It’s large and loud! The crown guard is removeable, I’ll make sure to show that in the full review. The clasp is pretty basic. Still does the job no doubt.

Very in depth and spoken. 👍 I've been looking at these for a while but your review convinced me to finally buy one. Subscribed.
Really glad to hear that, thank you! Glad to have you as a subscriber :)
That's awesome. Seiko and Orient, my favourite brands.
Hard not to like them! They’re putting out some great stuff!

Thank you! It’s an interesting lineup👍🏻

Bargain! This watch is definitely a step up in quality. The finishing of the case is clearly of higher quality than those models.
I own the red dial version of this watch. I really like this watch very much 👍🏻💯
Nice! That’s a cool variation of it. Can’t blame you! Really nice quality for the money👍🏻
A very cool watch. Underrated.
There’s not much talk about it. An acquired taste for sure.

Pin and collar bracelets are always an inconvenience. I really don't understand why they are used at all. Glad to hear it all worked out though :)

Hi! Took a while to answer this necause I was looking this up! Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find the answer yet.
Hope you can confirm if the water resistance is compromised if the crown guard and its screws are removed. Thank you.

Removing the crown guard has no effect on the performance of the watch. You can wear it with or without the guard.
Thank you for commenting this! It annoys me that I never got around to doing that.
Wow. Nice watch. I do like a big robust diver.
Thanks! Well in that case this watch could definitely be something for you😂
The Limited Edition (golden-brown one) has a green lume.
Green lume like on this one, or somegow different?🤔
@@NordicWatchChannel Looks more like a light blue - turquoise on the reviwed model. On the LE is like a lime green glowing kinda light. 100% not the same lume colour.
@@O_fata_simpla260 hmm ok! Sometimes it’s difficult to accurately capture the correct color of the lume on video, so that’s why I was asking.
How’s the bezel on your watch?

True. I still think this one sits relatively nicely despite its size! Maybe that's partly due to the case shape.
Looks amazing 💪
It’s a great looking watch despite it’s unorthodox looks😎
Great looking watch! But as a small wristed guy, way too big to even consider. 😂
Haha that pretty much sums it up😂 Same here. We’ll see how it looks without the crown guard! I’m curious because that will lower the diameter to ”just”45mm🤭
Love Orient watches and big wAtches but this one is as subtle as a kidney punch and the crown guard is hideous. The clasp needs work…
Haha well put! It’s large and loud! The crown guard is removeable, I’ll make sure to show that in the full review. The clasp is pretty basic. Still does the job no doubt.
…you can always remove the crown guards and put a nato strap on it. At least there are possibilities to your liking.
Mmmmm-force :P
M stands for mechanical, massive, maverick and mmmmmmmmm
