Just bagged this at a special discounted price of around 210 USD at a local store here in Malaysia without any research of the watch, your video made me realize how sweet of a deal I got there!
I have the green dial version of this watch. The green dial looks great in person, and the watch wears smaller than the specs would suggest. The down turned lugs help. I have on my 6.5 inch wrist. The huge negative for this watch is the legibility in low light, because there is none. My crown is wobbly too, but that might be by design.
I did notice the crown felt a little more wobbly than what I'm comfortable with. Hasn't been an issue for me. I think the massive crown guard exacerbates it because it's not as easy to get a solid grip on it, but like I said, hasn't been an issue for me so far.
Excellent review, awesome watch. I'm "not too bright" either lol. I hate pin and collar too! I can't do it, I just pay my battery guy to do adjustments to this style of bracelet.
Pin and collars aren't too bad as long as I'm prepared for it. There's nothing more infuriating then dropping and losing the collar forever. Fortunately I have a pin and collar kit so even if I lose the collar I have a whole box of extras. Thanks for stopping by🤘
It was available here for 400 USD for a while (including taxes and delivery). Great bang for the buck watch as the Orients usually are. Too big and massive for me, though. Great review, as usual!
Just picked up the silver nighthawk…I may have to take a look at this beauty as well 🤘⚡️🦇⚡️🤘 Btw, also a magnified window for the date window would be a clincher for this one imho
@@degenerateWA Looks like I'll be getting it before you even though you were the one who suggested it to me, lol. I'll let you know what I think of it soon in case you're interested.
Ich bin vor einigen Jahren durch Zufall auf Orient gestossen. Weil Seiko mir einfach zu teuer geworden ist. Was soll ich sagen. Mittlerweile trage ich nur noch Orient. Viele Menschen kennen diese Marke nicht. Aber dass ist mir Ende egal. Grüsse aus Deutschland.
Which Orient are you comparing it to? I think it would be unfair to associate the entire brand with one price range when they have varying levels of quality and value, which also applies to almost every other brand as well (i.e. Casio watches normally average around $50-$150 but they also have some that are well worth $1000+). I own many $500 Seikos that personally I believe are overpriced in comparison to this M-Force, but of course the argument over subjective preferences could go on forever.
@@degenerateWA It's not exactly subjective. If you decide you don't like those $500 Seikos you could easily unload them for almost what you paid...maybe more if its the right Seiko. Try to buy a Gen.2 Monster now days. Every time I try to buy a used Seiko on Ebay it gets bid up to almost full retail. The last Flightmaster I tried to buy went over what a new one costs on Jomashop. Decide you don't like that Orient and see if you could get anywhere near your money back. Orients are great watches for the money.....but 'for the money' is the important part.
@@jeffreygleaves2931 Personal determination of value is 100% subjective. If people want to spend above retail for a watch then that's on them. I don't determine value based on the market demand but rather based on quality of materials, quality of the finishing, the movement, the crystal, the bracelet, the design, the durability/ruggedness, responsiveness from the company, and most importantly the joy I get from it. I don't buy watches in the hopes of getting my money back from selling it later, and frankly I would never buy a Monster or Flightmaster (I own both) for what they're going for on the market because they're just not worth that price to me. I have seen both the Monster and Flightmaster sitting stagnant in online forums because no one wants to buy them for the over inflated price that the owners think they're work. I can personally speak to the Flightmaster because I was the one trying to sell it!
Thank you for taking the time and preparing this review.
Because of your review, I am SOLD and will be getting this model ( same color scheme )
That's awesome. Wear it in good health🍻

No watch is safe from me. I don't think I'm loyal to any brand, only loyal to my interests... which is badass watches 🤘😎🤘
Very cool watch. 7.5 inch wrist is what my wrist is as well. So now I know how it would wear on me. Great vid. 😁👍

Great review .. make me Just got mine in orange color in dial thank you very much
That's awesome, I hope you enjoy it🤘
I would say that it certainly lives up to its name, shame about the size of it as I think its really cool. Looks like an absolute tank.
Really is a tank. This is one I look forward to marking up with dings and scuffs.
Hi SImucom! I'm looking for a cheap digital watch that isn't a g-shock. Which watches should I look into?
That's so funny, I literally gave myself a challenge today to find a great digital watch under $50. I opted for the Casio W218HD-1AV
@@degenerateWA Went for it! Thanks Simucom! Notice any issues with it?
@@kine2903 I just bought it yesterday so it won't be here until next thursday

great review Sir 🙋. way to heavy for me. They should have made it Titanium
That would be cool.
Like the “Our man Flynt”, 007 BGM
Had to look that one up, never heard of that film
Oldie but a goodie👍
I would like to nominate Oris for having the worst [reference numbers], a co spot maybe ;)
I've never owned an Oris before but I just looked up one of their models and I'm going to have to give the trophy to them lol.

picked the mine 190 euros
Butts it doesn't klink😢
Too pricey for an Orient. I love the Kamasus, Kannos n' such but for $500 you're better off going with a Seiko.

For goodness sake - quit with the music.........
What music? There's none in this video.
