    So true! I just started swim lessons and had an anxiety attack the first day due to going under without taking my time to feel the water.

      I'm sorry to hear about your anxiety attack, but it's great that you’re taking swim lessons! It's important to go at your own pace and get comfortable with the water. Take deep breaths, and remember, it's okay to take your time. You've got this! If you need any tips or support, I'm here to help.

    I have a fear of water, when I was younger I got swimming lessons (I still know how to swim). But I get really scared if I want to jump in the water. Especially if I am not wet yet. I really want to learn it, how to get used to the water quick. And just jump in, instead of being scared. It has been blocking, for activities like survival, waterparks etc. I want to work on it, but I have no idea where to start. Any advice? (Main goal --> Jumping in the water, all dry and not being scared of the water)

      Like he just said and demonstrated, begin small. Baby steps. A step at a time. Until you are confident enough.

      To overcome your fear of water and jumping in, start by gradually exposing yourself to water, practice relaxation techniques, and seek support from a patient swimming instructor. Watch this video ruclips.net/video/yW31bm0Lj2E/видео.html

      Hi, thank you for your comment. I’m glad you are interested in learning how to swim. 😊
      I understand that feeling anxious and imbalanced in the water can be very frustrating and scary. You are not alone in this fear. Many people struggle with aquaphobia, or the fear of water, especially when they are learning how to swim.
      There are some things you can do to overcome this fear and feel more comfortable and confident in the water. Here are some suggestions:
      1: Start small, in shallow water. You can practice getting used to the water by sitting or standing at the edge of the pool and splashing some water on your face. This can help you associate positive thoughts with water and reduce your anxiety.
      2: Practice relaxation techniques and visualization. Before you get into the water, take some deep breaths and calm your mind. Imagine yourself swimming smoothly and effortlessly in the water. This can help you prepare mentally and emotionally for the activity.
      3: Build your core strength. Swimming requires the activation of your core muscles. To improve your skills and feel more balanced in the water, you can do some exercises to strengthen your core, such as planks, crunches, or yoga.
      Remember, learning to swim is a process that takes time and practice. Don’t give up and keep trying. You can do it! 💪

    My daughter always complains that her tummy is sore after swimming. What could it be?

    • @RocketSwimming
      @RocketSwimming  11 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not a medical professional, but there could be several reasons for your daughter's tummy pain after swimming. It's possible that she might be swallowing pool water, which can sometimes cause stomach discomfort. Dehydration or eating too soon before swimming might also contribute to this issue. If the problem persists or worsens, it's best to consult with a healthcare provider or a pediatrician who can assess her specific situation and provide guidance.

    Hey....I started learning swimming before 6 days .I am unable to float without a floater ,i can glide with the help pf floater and kick borad but when i start kicking my body doesn't move forward and my coach said that my legs , abdomen and shoulders becomes regid when i start to kick and I might have fear of water but I just love water even I enjoyed scuba diving a lot with a guide.
    Plz tell me how to overcome this !!!
    Being water lover and not able to swim really frustrates me.

    • @RocketSwimming
      @RocketSwimming  5 месяцев назад

      It's great to hear you're learning to swim! It's totally normal to struggle with floating and kicking at first. If your coach says your body is getting stiff, it might be because you're feeling nervous in the water. But don't worry, it's common and totally fixable! Try to relax and trust yourself. Practice kicking slowly while holding onto the side of the pool until you feel more comfortable. And keep enjoying your time in the water - you'll get there with practice and patience! 🏊‍♂️😊
