@@RocketSwimming Oh, that's a great idea! I never thought about trying it that way first! I've always been terrified of going head first into the water. This will probably help me a lot doing baby steps/little by little. Thank you! 🙏🏻☺️
She makes it so easy. I'm most afraid of steps one and two because I'm i don't think i'll have enough power to junp and the second step because i don't think i'll be able to get my hands above my head in time
It is almost impossible for water to enter your nose in that position unless you forcefully breath in with your nose. Some beginners practice by using nose clip.
Using both legs to push off when diving can indeed provide more power and distance in the air. However, in competitive swimming, especially in races like freestyle or butterfly, divers don't have a lot of time to transition from the dive to the swimming stroke. Using a flutter kick (kicking with both legs simultaneously) helps swimmers streamline their bodies faster, reducing resistance and allowing them to start their strokes more quickly.
very aesthetic
makes it look so simple😊
Thank you! Cheers!

Id love to be able to dive off the edge of a pool. 🙏🏻
Start with diving from siting position and then knees and after you perfect both, you can jump standing from the edge of the pool.

I suggest you to practice from the floor first and many times before you gain confidence. You can also get in the streamline position before you jump.
And I am scared
What about holding breath while jumping before and after?
@rashmijbinu Yes, you should take a deep breath in as you push forward! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Trimakasih Kak sekalian mau tanya berapa meter utk anderwatter....?
You're welcome! 2.7 meter for diving is recommended.
How do you make sure water doesn't go up your nose when you dive (or when doing a somersault)?

You can make a brief blow out of your nose on entry
Erm pluggering your nose up should help 🤢🥸😈

Can u tell how to dive off the blocks without injury please until 1st October 2024
What injury are you referring to? If you mean hitting water then keep the streamline position.
Why wouldn't you use both legs to push off, like a squat? Seems you could go further in the air.

Thank you so much!
من همیشه موقع پریدن داخل آب ، ناخودآگاه پاهامو جمع میکنم . به نظر شا چه کار کنم که پاهام موقع ورود به آب صاف بمونه ؟
A lot of practice!
Sir When I dive then water insert into my googles
Make sure that your face is wet before you put on the goggles. They will stick properly and create a vacuum.
@@RocketSwimming Will try this in tomorrow's swimming classes
