Hello from Australia. I'm 62 and I own a bronze version of what you are working on. I got my first electric shock when I was 5 so I love electronic valve gear. I also own a new PrimaLuna HP integrated valve amp. It's a beautiful amplifier and those 6 12AU7s in the front and the 8 EL34s in the rear are very smooth and it really packs a punch. A Sanity Check.....I love that one. Unfortunately, the volume pot is not original in the pre-amp so I've used the switch hole on the power amp to install a toggle switch and replaced the fuse holder because the original one just fell apart. The Point One Stereo, and a lot of people don't know this but it gets its name from the signal to noise ratio of .one % which was and still is a very good reading from the Leak considering its age. Once it gets a clean up, it sounds wonderful. My mums Kriesler is a valve unit and it's output in push/pull was 20 watts per channel which had the neighbors up in arms! It also has electrostatic tweeters and the sound is amazing. Its a 3 way 6 element unit. I'm never gonna part with it. I'd love a pair of the Leak speakers it came with. Oh well. I use Servisol cleaner. There is a guy in Brisbane, David Tipton is his name and boy he knows how to do great repairs right down to printing Rola stickers for the back of the speaker if the original is missing. Cheers for now Andrew Collins from OZ.
