  • Cheeseburger Wraps are everything you love about a cheeseburger all wrapped up in a flour tortilla then grilled to perfection. These wraps are terrific for a simple lunch or dinner!
    I made these Cheeseburger Wraps a while ago, but forgot about them until I was scrolling through my camera today. I am sad I didn’t post this recipe sooner because they were SO good!
    I used ground chicken for these wraps and kept the filling simple. You can use lean ground beef, lettuce, tomato, and whatever you like in your wrap.
    I do not like BBQ sauce so I substituted it for soy and ketchup. Feel free to use the BBQ sauce if you have a preference for it.
    Add the condiments right into the ground chicken - ketchup, soy sauce, spices - and the resulting flavour is spot on. From there, it's easy. Add your favorite toppings, wrap it up in a tortilla, and grill it until crispy. Kind of burrito style burger giving it a delicious crunch wrap flavour! Serve these burger wraps with side of choice; I used French fries, for a complete meal.

    Ingredients:
    • ½ KG GROUND CHICKEN
    • 2 TBSP. OIL
    • TO TASTE, SALT
    • TO TASTE, PEPPER POWDER
    • 1 TSP. ONION POWDER
    • 1 TSP. GARLIC POWDER
    • 1 TSP. SOY SAUCE
    • 1 TBSP. KETCHUP
    • 1 TBSP. GREEN ONION
    • 4 SLICES, CHEESE, DIVIDED
    • 2 LARGE WRAPS
    • 1 ONION, SLICED
    Method:
    1. Heat a pan with oil.
    2. Add ground chicken and cook till colour changes.
    3. Evaporate the liquid.
    4. Add salt and pepper powder. Mix well.
    5. Add onion and garlic powder. Mix well.
    6. Add soy sauce and ketchup. Mix well.
    7. Add green onion. Mix well. Switch off flame and remove the filling.
    8. Assemble the wrap by spreading ketchup, 2 slices of cheese, ground chicken filling and onions.
    9. Fold in sides, almost enough so they touch, but with an inch between them, so some of the filling still peeks out.
    10. Keep those side flaps pulled in while using your thumbs to bring the bottom flap over the sides. Continue pulling the bottom flap taut and use it to wrap over the filling and the side flaps, rolling one or two more times, until the whole thing is secured.
    11. Preheat electric grill and heat the wraps till crisp.
    12. Serve hot with desired side (French fries).
