Mike the hustler just comes in as a newbie and destroys every one
“World police” Lewis constantly leaning back and looking at Bens hand while actual World police Tom kills every creature because you can’t commit crimes when you’re dead.
Mike's Dwarven priest should have given him two health but this is the yogscast.

You should just make 6 piles then put the cards of your deck randomly on one of those piles. Then put al the piles on each other. You may repeat this a few times. And then you successfully shuffled without damaging the cards.
Remember That Zabuza guy? , my cousins and I use this method, it works really well
I've been playing quite a bit of MTG arena and it makes me happy that I could tell exactly what was in toms hand via 2:22 via the art only.
Seeing Tom's cards over his shoulder is a nice touch, very immersive. Especially since I usually play black zombie decks so it's almost as if I'm there with them, except a lot more charismatic.

This actually looks pretty fun! I never really knew what Magic the Gathering was, but this is a nice little introduction, maybe if I ever make friends who like playing card games, I'll give this a try, haha
Also, I do the same thing with my sleeves as Lewis does at 29:19, I've never actually seen anyone else do that, haha

Yay love when yall play! Even if you make a few mistakes along the way ( Tom was supposed to draw - You always draw first in a multiplayer game). I really don't mind it because it is the yogsgaruntee. :)
You can use your instants on someone else's turn guys. No point killing stuff unless it's going to be used on you.

@@Nickerino617 I just double-checked, Ben didn't get a go. Tom ends his turn and Ben didn't touch his deck or hand, and the number of mountains in play did not change.
Ben did, however, look at Lewis' field when he started his go as if to say "Um, what about me?"

Its been a long time since I played Magic but how does Languish do damage if all it does is lower stats? And from memory Sorcery cards aren't played during combat?
If a creatures toughness is reduced below zero it is destroyed.
Someone in the Yogscast uses the same ringtone as I do.

still kinda new to magic but should the wall still be alive if all mobs get -4/-4 then the skeleton should die before attacking ? or am i wrong
Tom had attacked with reassembling skeleton first, which Lewis blocked with his wall of mist, putting it on 4 toughness instead of 5, Tom played Languish after the combat phase but before the end phase so it didn't heal back to 5 toughness and died in the huge board wipe, if he'd played it before combat or if Lewis hadn't blocked (Which Tom was hoping he would) then everything but the wall would have died
Pretty sure I explained that correctly XD let me know if it didn't make sense at all

at 3:30 , tom pulls 3cards from his deck "gruesome faith" being the top card, should that card not have been the bottom one in his graveyard then? He moves it so it lands as the top card. (I don't know how the rules work, just curious)
I don't think it matters how the graveyard is ordered anyway. I've never seen a card state anything that has to do with the order of a card in a graveyard.

I checked and there are about 20 very old cards that do interact with the order of the graveyard. So it doesn't matter when you play only new cards

Iv not played much magic but doesnt ben need another mana to play shock at 8:40 ?
No he tapped 3 mana spent 2 on the automaton leaving 1 mana floating enough for the shock.

At 28.35 approx. the 4/4 should have died aswell, right? Since ben's other creature killed the one who gave +1/+1 to others. So therefore the 4/4 would take 3 dmg from ben's creature and get -1/-1'd to 0. Or am i just making stuff up?
Ye, i know that, but after combat ends, the damage dealt to creatures persists until end of turn. And so after the buffer dies all minions get -1/-1 and if that makes some of them go to 0 they should die, no?

Doesn't Tom play a sorcery that should NOT kill Lewis' wall at ~14:25? The combat damage is resolved and creatures returned to full life at end of the combat phase, right? So therefore a sorcery played in the second main phase wouldn't kill his 0/5 wall.
Combat damage is healed after the end of someone's turn is resolved, so if he had played it at any point after the combat including when he ended his turn, it would've killed it still, only after it's resolves does it heal (he couldn't have played it at the very end of his turn as it wasn't an instant anyways XD)
