I find the standard KTM 790 Adventure 2023 sat nav mount to be quite sturdy without any wobble. I would recommend anyone planning on installing a Garmin zumo XT using that mount to purchase some replacement bolts. The Garmin ones are 20mm in length and when fully done up the scrape into the KTM mount. I got some replacement 15mm bolts etc. from Accu and they were much better. My bike also has the auxiliary lights and they come with an extra spur pre installed for the ignition on power feed so no issues there. I’ve found that the best interface setup is link your phone and headset to the Garmin and don’t link them to the onboard KTM Bluetooth connect system. You can then play music from phone through Garmin to your helmet headset and hear the sat nav announcements just fine. You can control the music volume from either your phone or the Garmin or you can control the mix volumes of music, direction instructions, and road warnings from the Garmin.
the Touratech XT holder is a lot more expensive than the std KTm mount believe me, but the standard mount on the 1290 is more wobbly than a big pair of boobs!!!
