I remember back when Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous was just worn out on the radio being two or three times on the way to school and on the way back from school everyday for over a couple of months I'm pretty sure and that's being very lenient with the time! I never understood why this song didn't get no where near that much airtime it was way better, and it was cool of Matt and Synyster to help out by being in the song because they had already started getting quite a bit of recognition by that time along with the fact that they made that song what it was with their parts without taking all the shine away from GC which earns them more respect from me!

Good charlotte is a great band but in this song as the shadow's part came it just blew everything out of water...man m.shadows and his voice is undeniably one of the best of all time.
M Shadows just gives this song that extra bit of edge that just makes it perfection. I also really love how poetic his verse is. Beautiful. This song never gets old.

You can tell how skilled of musicians M. Shadows and Synyster Gates are because of how they didn't just show off the whole time. They could have easily stolen the show, but they adapted to the genre and the band and killed it with simplicity, especially on Syn's part. He could've just swept arpeggios that whole time, but he just gave a simple, melodic solo.
+CallsignSlate - Many of Syn's solos with A7X are melodic, even some of the more technical ones. He usually doesn't just try to show off (for example sweeping during a ballad would be showing off), and he just does what fits the song the best.

He made the solo simple because from what I can tell, Good Charlotte aren't really a technical band instrumentally.
