    What mat do you use under your truck camper to help it from sliding around? I love your videos. Thanks for sharing!!

      We have a factory Ford bedmat. We used a thicker stall mat for the Tundra. Check out the build video to see details on the bed and camper guides: ruclips.net/video/9irXoew6OT0/видео.html

    After using chains for a number of years I opted to bolt my camper to my truck. I do have to crawl under the truck each time on and off but I like the clean look and nothing to snag onto when offroading. Them fastguns look like quality made but I winter camp and would be concerned about rusting parts from road salt as I don’t wash my truck in the wintertime to prevent frozen door gaskets.

      That's a solid way of attachment! But definitely a bit more involved to remove / load. Thanks for sharing!

    What truck mat would you recommend for a F-150?

    • @TruckCamper
      @TruckCamper  2 года назад

      We use the OEM Ford bed mat. I used a Stall Mat (Tractor Supply) for our Tundra. Basically you just want anti-skid and buffer to isolate camper from truck.

    For all the money we pay for these it amazes me TL doesn’t send these already setup.

      Also, did you have any issues with the plastic caps that go one at the end? Two of mine are snug. The other two are so loose they won’t stay seated at the top of the fast gun. Also the washers that are on the lever handle are rattling on 3/4 fast guns. Haven’t even used them yet and I’m not impressed at all. So much for American made….

      It's a shipping factor with the size. They are not difficult to setup and good understanding how they are built and work.

      I'll need to check on our caps. I believe they are all still there! Their customer support is great if you need parts or have a defective item. There is nothing else on the market that compares to these. Design and functionality is top notch. But they are not perfect... They can get noisy and require lube but they work. We have share tons of off road videos and our camper has stayed attached.
