My daughter used to listen Silverchair when she was 16. Now she is 37 and i am 60 now. Use to listen 60 and 70 ties but i admit Silverchair was great Aussie band. Really good alternative rock band. 👍👍

@@sexopimbadayeah about all 2 of them, and they certainly weren't stood in the crowd with video cameras held up in front of people. If a show got filmed it was from the back or side. It does me in that people either film to post and get clicks, or just to never watch it again. You just can't see properly anymore through the phones in the air.
Absolutely magical talent, dream like show.. That voice, those songs, incredibly amazing in every sense. They need to come back. Saw them in New York on this Diorama tour, words don’t do it justice, truly a special era and moment in my life. Bring the magic of this music back into the world Daniel, please 🙏🙌
@@TheWebah I was at both nights too! I was so lucky. I lived in Milwaukee and they cancelled their tour date there the year prior due to Daniel’s arthritis. I was so devastated, I somehow convinced my Dad to take a trip to New York with me to see them (it helped his brother lives there.) I think they only played 2 shows in LA and 2 shows in NY in the states that tour. I had tickets for the first show, then bought tickets for the second show from someone outside the venue. One of the best experiences of my life. I was only 16.
@@Nightowl333 That's awesome of your father to take you there. Luckily, I only had to drive up from New Jersey so it was a much shorter trip for me, but well worth it either way! Yeah, he just played the 4 shows. Remember the second night when he was dressed up like the Statue of Liberty haha?!
Olha a pegada e a alegria desse batera.
Adoro todas as músicas deles. Do principio doss anos 90 até agora. Poucas bandas conseguiram isso.
Sheeeeeeit. Outstanding performance of After All These Years! Having listened to this since it came out, for some reason that song hit different on the millionth play. (probably the edibles too...😮
Maybe it's just me being a Frogstomp through Neon Ballroom fan but they seemed to play with much more energy and Ben is actually looking like he was having fun playing the older songs. I get that people's tastes change and they couldn't stay the angry grunge band forever but man I miss those days of the Chair. I used to listen to those albums nearly every day but I just couldn't get behind their later work. They went way too far in the other direction for my tastes but that's not surprising. They went more in a pop direction and my tastes gravitated toward metal later on. Either way, Silverchair defined a portion of my teenage years and for that I am thankful. They were a talented group of guys.
Hugo Rezende I remember when my brother bought me this show on dvd and watched this song that’s the first thing I’ve noticed is that dude air drumming, I would of done the same too (as a drummer myself) 😂

Emotion Sickness and Pushit (Salival version) by Tool are my all time favourites. ruclips.net/video/LGbel0NZpXo/видео.html
for real.. what an insane ending
Melbourne 99 is the best performance of ES.
Uma apresentação épica!
Sem palavras...
Essa Tour passou pelo Brasil. Eu fui!
Grunge is not dead!
Before iPhones, everyone enjoyed the concert. Sadly now it's a fight to see a band past the sea of mobile bloody devices
i spit on your grave
well, back then people had cameras and camcorders
So true i said the same thing all just enjoying the show miss those days

Daniel is the most beautiful talented man. This is the only version on Steam Will Rise live that I know of. Love it.
I had never heard it live before either and it is truly so beautiful 💙
Fantistic band.! I saw the band in Rock in Rio Brazil in 2001. Day by day bettering. Congratulations!!
+Luís Gustavo Azeredo I was there as well!! Amazing show!!
Nobody remembers the Red hot chilli peppers show that came after Silverchair
That was the best Silverchair show ever.
Nice! I was at this one but I really love that rock in Rio gig. I love how much he improvised at rir
MASTERPIECE! I miss old Daniel!

Thank you so much for sharing this! I saw them in 1999 ish in Melbourne and I reckon they did go a long way after that! This concert is incroyable!!!
The harmony of the whole band in sync is what makes it such a showcase of talent
Truly! They are so tight, it is awesome 👌 A massively underrated live band.
OMG!!! WOW!!! DANIEL!! U ROCK!!! letting that dude on stage. How LUCKY was that dude!!!
1:43:31
TAKE THE MOTHERFUCKER! TAKE IT!
I love it 😂 Only God know how much I miss Silverchair, hope they will reunite
Daniel said recently it will never happen. The others wouldn't even collab on his solo project.
Utterly brilliant
MInha Banda favorita! Uma das mais belas vozes do rock!
Essa banda deixou saudade, faz muita falta.
can we take notice how he held that note for a very long time at the end of Ana's song and still kept it in tune. wow!
40:38 Crazy impressive breath control on that note.

Simples assim.
Melhor banda, eu os amo demais!

My God ...how do they still get that sound on 2019! I´m amazed! I loved Israel´s son!
Australian band Silverchair in an epic performance. Watch in HD.
1:37:09 I half expected him to go into “When Doves Cry”
Haha type Daniel Johns Preach live and watch that. I think Prince would approve ;)
I was in the 2nd row
Nice rendition of the door
