I know right? It's so weird and considering that there are traditional fertility dances in almost all indigenous cultures, this is extremely tame in comparison.
My heritage is Australian Aboriginal, Phillipino, British, Solomon Islands and Hawaiian. Dad and his 5 Brothers & 1 Sister look Polynesian while the other Sister & 1 Brother looks British (fair with orange hair & freckles) and the other Brother looks Aboriginal. Mum's Mother is full Aboriginal & Phillipino. I'm drawn to Hawaiian people, along with my other heritage. I look Phillipino. I grew up the Aboriginal way. My brother is tan with ginger curly hair and green eyes that change. My Cousin's are brown with flaming orange hair. 😊
@@jdpatrick1106 You 2 are so silly, those are traditional clothings. Men in Scotland wear skirts too you know. Those are cotton or Kapa cloth worn by Kahiko dancers. The Best Hula Kahiko dancers are also the most powerful warriors since Ancient Times.
@@jdpatrick1106 I wear Pareo skirt with Lei leaves when dancing Hula Kahiko at a local Park/garden (wearing a tank top of course, I am female by the way). Truth is, even if those gentlemen did walk around shopping wearing what is shown in the video people would recognize them as cultural dancers. Just be open minded and you will find they delightful (^__^) and the focus is to enjoy the dance and try those moves yourself ---- they really aint hard, trust me =)
