    Good save, I know it would lose carats, but I’d even the other side and make it almost a cushion cut, but that colour is sensational

    I love your cutting videos. Sad that you lost some weight, because of the crack, but you recovered nicely. Still turned out to be a beauty. I am really look forward to your next cutting video. It is nice to see what the rough looks like when it is cut.

    Good save,that green is beautiful, odd how it looks better in the shade than the sun but I’m still partial to the blues (so far) I’ll have to see when you cut a canary yellow lol great job thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼

    Turned out OK. Though with significant drop in carats. Should still get good price.
    Would have been nicer with more staw yellow colour, at least to me.❤❤❤❤

    Tim, how much time did you have to learn on vile quality stones to get carried away with such a class of material and make such a miracle? I have been watching you toil in your mine for a long time and I know that you have so many unique sapphires set aside that you will be a happy pensioner for the rest of your days. All you have to do is grind what you have put in your piggy bank.

    In my opinion the cushion cut is the best cut. I realize round is more popular though.

    • @jameswelch1054
      @jameswelch1054 Год назад

      Do you think the cushion cut is the best, because you just like that cut? Or because it optimizes the quality of the Australian sapphires better?

    • @timsadventures9888
      @timsadventures9888  Год назад +1

      Yes i like cushion cut to

    • @Rotary_Phone
      @Rotary_Phone Год назад +1

      @@jameswelch1054 It's just a personal preference. I think a cushion looks good on any stone that I've seen. Either way you can't really go wrong with a round or cushion.

    • @jameswelch1054
      @jameswelch1054 Год назад

      @@Rotary_Phone I look forward to seeing it, when Tim, is ready to try that cut. I imagine it is the ideal cut, for bi-colored sapphires?

    About how long to cut a stone roughly this size from start to finish? Is it one of those things where you can cut 2 to 4 in a day?
