I've listened to the video and I have failed to identify the sound you mean. Can you be more specific, please? What sort of sound is it and when does it occur?
Thank you for clarifying. That's the snare. It's the snare from a snare drum, resting on top of a thin piece of steel resting on top of a guitar pickup. The metal bit the snare springs are attached to is plucked by a screw on the beat programming wheel.
@@MabInstruments is that the mechanism under your right shoulder/collarbone? And then when you pull the crank horizontally to your right it engages the other two strummers? Im trying to figure it out and be open to it haha
@@RyuuHatake Yes. That's right. You can see the four disks and the flashes when the light catches the screws. The screws pluck ice lolly sticks. One ice lolly stick is the bass drum simulator (The frequency is lowered by weighting with a steel bolt, nut and washers and the sound picked up by a guitar pickup) and the other ice lolly stick triggers the snare. Apparently I described that slightly wrongly before. The metal bit that is attached to the springs of the snare rests on the ice lolly stick.
this has got to be the hardest instrument to play, keeping a consistent winding seed. damn. hats off to you!
Thank you.
While impressive surly it is probably on the same level of difficulty as the instrument made of glass bowls.
Lower than thrice buried whale shit. I'd leave the rhythm section as a separate device. Love that violon sound.
Thank you for that. You made me laugh a lot.
Holy balls. that thing sounds amazing
Thank you.
excellent job what a cool instrument
Thank you.
That sounds fantastic. I want to hear it at an open mic or a gig.
Thank you. It's a bit temperamental, but I would like to play it at a gig when the pandemic has eased off enough for gigs to be a good idea.

Very percussive, it's like you've got a whole rhythm section.
Whats the really annoying clunking sound?

@@MabInstruments I apologize for calling it annoying. It’s the third sound you hear after the two strums. Strum strum clunk, strum strum clunk
