Umbro is very weird and Their lineup changes dramatically through the world. They don't have any great high end models but at least for turf boots here in Brazil they offer the Umbro Tocco 3 Premier, which costs around 63 dollars in Brazil and is the absolute king of value for money , with the Asics Destaque coming right behind. Mind you, here a nike premier 3 tf costs 200 dollars but is imported, unlike the umbro and thus there are less taxes
Went and tried these boots yesterday after watching this and a few other videos. Felt fine, so I took them home. Purchased the same size as I wear in Copas and Sambas, US11. Just finished up a 90-minute training session complete with scrimmage, and I have to say that I suffered none of the discomfort or issues mentioned in this video. Heel is fine, they don't slip around, lock down is normal, don't feel low or narrow. Zero problems. Touch on the ball was great and traction on a soggy pitch was superb. Oh, and my daughter has had her pair for a couple of weeks now and also has no comfort concerns.
just got them last week with a sweet offer for 50$ and went through 2 training session, it felt nice. I am a traditional tiempo user and this is my first predator but I quite like it
The heel containment I fixed by just lacing my boots differently and using the lime runners loop or whatever it fixes that and the shape fits my feet perfectly better than any elite mercurial or predator accuracy ever has 💯
I have this boot, it's typical Adidas that I have to go 1/2 size up. However, I find it very comfortable and have no problems. This is definitely personal opinion and a great option for those who can't afford the £300 version. (Which is most working class individuals who take up football ⚽)
Given it’s from a big brand and such he will be absolutely upset. We know his Kappa Rattler,Concave and Nitrocharge 2.0 video being some of the videos where he went hard 😂
@@phananhnguyen4111 I do mainly I didn’t put them in cuz he made so much fun of them 😂😂. Of coz he dislike it but the fact he used it as a running joke made it funny that for me I don’t think I need to include it
Probably not the first time where top brands selling trash quality takedown models and call it a day almost seems like they're selling the brand instead of their own quality. Nike and adidas have been doing it for years with the club/academy version. The same reason why people still buy fake football boots is because they're almost the same price if not cheaper and have almost the same quality. Sure it hurts the market for these brands but people wouldn't buy counterfeit items if the takedowns is really good and worth the price they're paying for
Got these couldn’t take them back, grips socks and runners loop helped a lot with the heel slip to the point it doesn’t happen now, boots moulded to foot more and is comfortable
I actually tried these in a store mainly because I was looking for something within a budget but I genuinely hated them, they gave me this weird pinching near my toes which felt awful, luckily I purchased a pair of Copas instead. Way better
Okay, I don’t really think you guys are thinking it through. The boot is GREAT okay and the heel can be fixed through a different lace tying method. If you use the one loop method then the boot will feel fixed onto your feet and comfortable like the elite but if you use the bunny ears one then it won’t work. I hate that a lot of people keep criticizing the boot, it’s a pretty good boot tbh.
I just got the predators and they were so uncomfortable! And I don’t ever take a lot of games to adjust to any boots but the the predators have been the worst boots to wear And josh is right the fitting is terrible my feet kept slipping out
Nice Review, i expected very much of the Pro Version but after ur review i will look after something other. Had the same feeling when i tried the crazyfast 2.
Man I'm so grateful that you're taking the time to do what you do. Your content is invaluable. I've saved so much money on these poor cleats. Continue your good work bro👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Any chance you can review the League AG 2g/3g? For the first time adidas have actually made a good looking ag sole that isn't a tf trainer or with the usual overly long AG studs
We just got these in the store and yeah I definitely can feel my heel slipping out, the lockdown in the back is really bad. With all the movement too, I wouldn't be surprised if I got blisters. And there was like an uncomfortable pressure on the heel as well. Rest of the boot felt fine though, and was exactly true to size.
I was about to buy my son the predator pros. His been wearing Tiempos and loving them but since the move from K leather, we thought we check out the predators. Store didn’t have any in his size so we could not try them on, but so glad I watched this vid. Will be checking out NB 442 maybe.
Hi Josh. Will you review the Adidas Predator League Laceless FG? Based on the images I’ve seen and the low price point, they look quite good… I’d be interested to know your thoughts on them
I just received these boots and can say that maybe this review was accurate for his feet but was definitely not accurate for me. I played professionally (not anymore, in my late 30's now) and can say that while they aren't the BEST fit, they actually fit my feet quite well out of the box. Didn't feel that the sole plate was overly stiff nor was the heel cup completely uncomfortable. The heel isn't a glove-like fit but feels quite secure. perhaps $180CAD could have been better spent but I'm satisfied for the moment
Thank you for this! I ordered 3 different pairs and none of them fit. I have quite wide feet but still it felt extreme. I wore a pair for 10 minutes and my feet were busting to get outta there. GOnna get some Copa Pure II's instead. Thanks so much for this confirmation!
Are the Elites as bad? I (thankfully) got a pair of the base model for very cheap. They have the same issue. So shallow, laces won’t tie. Right foot not so bad. Pressure on outside of left foot is borderline painful.
I wish I watched your video before I purchased this and then replaced it for a 2nd pair. Guess I’ll be returning that also. wore the 1st one 1x and it was hard on my Achilles.
Adidas with their garbage takedown boots is good enough to use “still a better love story than twilight” joke at this point. Not many can afford the high end models but it doesn’t help when the budget friendly options are absolutely trash
It's not only my sensation... I feel the same with originals models, are made this way. Adidas usually had a good structure, usually they have the best fit but I what you say it's true something is changed🖖🏾
It almost seems like adidas makes the take down models bad in order to make consumers lean towards buying the more expensive versions. To this day, no other take down boot has come close to the Adidas Predator Absolute Absolion from 2006-07. It was even better than many elite boots of the past 15 years!
So I was able to see these boots in person and I wanted to ask if on the new elite models the sole plate was the same as the FT version because on the launch colorway all of the elite models have the shiny looking sole plate but on this new colorway it looks like a takedown model soleplate
Got this boot with the mg outsole q2. I have high and wide feet. Its very hard to find good shoes for me. And those shoes fit me pefectly, like no other shoe did. I have been using them for a few days now. I have a few blisters here and there, but this is something i always have, so im used to it. Something i havent experienced before is a blister on my right heel that i got from football. My left foot is bigger than my right, so i got no problem with them. What do you guys recommend. I still need to break them in so i dont know how it will be in the future. But as i said this is one of the only shoes that have fit me. And i only got them for about 50 euros.
Hi can you confirm that this fitting issue is the same on the Pro MG model too, I’m interested in purchasing the Pro MG model because it’s the first time they’ve introduced a new option away from the one that’s been there since the Adidas Nemisis and curious to know what affect that has on the fitting
I have bought them and have been using it for a few days now. I have wide and high feet and it is really hard to find football shoes that fit. This one tho, it fit me perfectly. Im getting a few blisters here and there but thats something i always get

Im just going to say ive bought some and will let you know if their good from my opinion only just bought them as they were 52 pounds about 60 dollars due to they where in a sale
Sorry about that! There’s definitely more room in these than the Elites but the fit in the heel just overrules all of that for me - and you’ll still get all of that volume in the League with a much much better fit. My bad idea that was unclear /Jay
worse than the Predator Edge that had the weird giant foot box? I have a pair of the Edge.1 that i got on sale for $20 and i refuse to wear it because on cold days the plastic does not like to bend and actually hurts my toes and feet. So this must be way worse?
It's safe to say that Nike consistently delivers the best takedown models; Puma has given them a run for their money the last few years, and then adidas, you almost wonder if they do it on purpose? adidas is otherwise my fav. brand so it's a shame for me.
Adidas in terms of takedowns/budget versions have been inconsistent with their fit for the past few years. From the god awful f30-f10 versions to this, adidas when it comes to mid/lower tier models have been absolutely atrocious
