Only wear FG boots on AG if you don't mind spraining your ankle or blowing out your knee. Also, highly recommend Currex Cleatpro insoles. They are expensive, but they are a game changer for turf and they last wayy longer than stock insoles. Those rubber pellets are a bitch. I like the sock style boots for that reason.
I just got turf shoes for the first time. For me, they legit make a difference. I feel much closer to the ground and they also help take away a lot of the impacts on the knees/hips from studs. I think this is much better in the long term. One drawback is that they aren't as grippy as stud depending on the truf field. Some places put a ton of rubber in that makes it slippier.
You should use FxG on turf if you can’t do turf boots for personal reasons. At least Multi-Ground boots will keep you comfortable with what you’re used to. Also don’t get bullied by the comments, wear low tier boots and score bangers, you’ll just create a new wave.
You need a pair of AG(artificial grass) cleats or Turf cleats. They have a better construction for the toe and stud length so you don't have stud pressure and mess up your ankle when you cut or plant.
The best purchase I've ever done was Mizuno. If you wear those cleats for dozens of hours a week, training and playing, might invest in the best quality you can afford. The comfort, feeling of the touch is unmatched on the Mizuno made in Japan model.
I might be old-school when it comes to football shoes, but I will always say to use FG shoes on natural grass and AG shoes when playing on artificial grass. Just for the durability but also ankle breaker factor. Since FG studs tend to be longer in order to create traction on natural grass, it's not worth the risk. Don't know or seen any modern FG/AG shoes where the studs are balanced for both pitches. The only one I feel is good for both are the Ace 15.1s but yeah they are not sold anymore.
Turf boots are much safer for your knees and ankles because of the studs not being so long as the FG ones, if you're playing on nice artificial grass pitches just buy the AG ones. Adidas/Nike/Puma/New Balance/Asics/Mizuno also release Pro versions on Turf boots, so I wonder where do the hates come from, they're safe and solid. FG boots are made to be played on natural grass with "firm ground".
Deen literally proves that you don’t need the most expensive boots to be good. I will say, you can totally shop around for discounted top end boots. Got a pair of Tiempo 9 elites for $150 awhile back.
I have these ones but the laceless versions, the material is exactly as he described and its soo comfortable on the ball and off the ball!i am a nike fan and my boots before these were nike but a weeks ago my mom took me to 3 stores nike adidas and puma. Nike didnt have suitable boots for me,puma was just not it and then came adidas, they caught my eye and these are so beautiful comfy and they feel so good on the ball!!! 😍😍😍
Don’t use cleats on turf/artificial grass use turs shoes or ag boots. I and countless other people have tore their acl this way. Knock on wood though but trust me it’s not worth the risk. Just use your new cleats on grass and get a pair of turf or ag cleats. I’d suggest the adidas mundial team
@@VibinJivian_JR don’t think like that. Most people including myself have used fg on ag for multiple years before getting injured. Not saying you will for sure get injured ( knock on wood) but why take a risk like rhat
Try mizunos next. Not the super expensive Made in Japan models, but the Elite model. They’re just almost as good and the difference isn’t worth the extra $100. Super comfy and well built, and as someone with flippers for feet I finally found something that fits my wide feet well. Also, how do you not care about getting clowned on for wearing cheap cleats but you draw the line on wearing turf shoes over studs because of looks? That shit has arguably a bigger impact on comfort and injuries than the tier of the cleats you wear lol
I have worn the adidas crazy fast .4 for a year and there's barely any damage on them i have played only on astro turf and artifical ground with them while they were fg 😅
Bro, right now in India these same Pros are 40% off but I have seen RUclips reviews about them saying that the heel is shallow and these are uncomfortable. What do you think about them ? Are they comfortable ? Is the heel holding your foot okay ?
@@deen-does Deen, AG means "Artificial Grass" and FG means "Firm grass (The real grass)". By what I have seen, you play on AG grass. So it would be recommended for you to wear AG boots instead of FG boots. Also, if you are playing on ASTRO turf, don't use cleats. I recommend using boots without cleats. Search up "Astro turf boots". Then you might get the idea of what I am trynna say.
@@deen-does AG stands for "artificial grass" (astroturf). FG stands for "firm ground" (real grass). The difference between the two is that AG boots have more studs on the bottom with a more rounded shape while FG boots have fewer studs with a more aggressive shape. The AG studs are safer on artificial grass because they don't dig into the ground as much and more evenly distribute the pressure reducing the chance of injury in the knees or ankles. The FG boots have sharper more aggressive studs because real grass tends to be softer and more forgiving and the longer studs help with traction. Also, SG (Soft ground/muddy grass), MG (Multiground/ turf and real grass), TF (Turf/ flat carpet turf) boots are also a thing. 5:54 I would recommend wearing AG or MG cleats on astroturf instead of Turf shoes because there is a big difference in traction/performance. But FG cleats are ok just know that it can cause injury in your ankles and knees in the long term especially because you seem to go all out while playing. You also mentioned in your video that your cleats were getting torn up on the astroturf I don't think it's because you were using FG cleats on astroturf. If you play hard your cleats will get wrecked no matter what even on natural grass. 3:17 The Asics boots Kenny has and Mizuno boots are some of the best boots you can buy for the money they actually require close to no break-in because of how soft the leather is on them and they mold to your foot perfectly. The only downside is the cost. If you decide to get a pair of cleats in the future you should definitely check out the Mizuno Morelia's (Made in Japan). P.S: your videos are really fun to watch and your commentary never gets boring. keep up the hard work 👍
Bro, still did not get the elites 😭💀
Bro wants me to put a down payment on cleats
@deen-does Bro I got the 19.1 AG and 18.1 FG for $100 each .-. just get the old elite models for cheap
@@deen-doesthe difference between the pros and elites is worth it for this boot imo. The elites are way way better.
@@DaniellMiltonthere almost three same but the pros have cheaper materials but there very similar
Bro is also driving a BMW sooo…
Deen bro you gotta get AG cleats or Artificial Grass cleats they're small circular studs
Agreed. And they last so much longer on the surface they're intended for. FG boots will often split apart at the toe after playing on AG.

Adidas don’t do circular studs sadly
Especially after watching your play style. You're all about sharp turns and stuff.

Mizuno gang here 😂
ASICS are good and bad at the same time
OG Phantom 1s are still the goat
sadly i live in the US so i would have to buy them second hand bc they don’t sell asics cleats here 😢
Deen buddy, I recommend Multi Ground boots(😠) for turf grounds. Its more mild on the turf, and still as stable as fg.

"that guy" that wears turf boots on a turf field. ???

we need more boot reviews
what specific model is kenny wearing
No why did you get the pros??? They have such a shallow and sloppy fitting heal
not breaking boots in is crazy
You should get the leather mizunos or adidas copas
there are AG versions of most cleats
Are they anything near kangaroo leather ?
I would get the Nike mercurial academy because they are mg so they don’t get torn up from astroturf and they are 95 dollars
Try Predator Elite Laceless they are crazy good
need an under armour boot review next

150 dollars for a cleats

Pro edition boots or not, he still the Sunday League god
Get some Mizuno Morelia 2 Made In Japan you won’t regret it

Love my pair of ET version
Please you need to stop wearing FG on AG, you will get injured again 😅
Keep those Adi because now your gonna NEED, not WANT, NEED a second boots for AG fields
Top of the line predators now
Agree with Kenny them ASICS is bangers
my fav boot that i have is the Nike Mercurial Vapor 15 Elite Pink/Black Foam, whats urs?
👇🏻
Boots don’t make the player, a real baller can ball in some DSG brand boots 😎
this predator 24 is NOT for wide feet.
Nike discriminates ppl w big feet
lowkey noticed adidas ran slightly bigger than my tiempos
5:45 well u can try the AG outsole
Nice baller

I’d like to see you break your wallet again just to get the 20th anniversary tiempos haha

So underrated
150$ for pros ? I always thought they where 200+ for all originals
