As a measurement and laboratory engineer, I love your "scientific" approach do reviewing this guitar, with a lot of measuring I have not seen on other channels, awesome!
Considering to buy between this Ibanez and Cort kx300. Also had mixed feelings about Ibanez's neck made from one piece of wood with this joint. Now I am closer to Cort. Thanx!
I always look at each guitar separately, regardless of make and model. The best guitar is the one that has the best wood grain, etc. It is never a simple recommendation of a specific make and model. Hope this makes sense.
I typically review guitars when customers bring a new guitar to my shop, for a setup. Although I have actually been thinking about also doing reviews of guitars that have been used for a while (to show how they hold up over time). In any event, I would still need a customer to bring a guitar, for me to review it. At this point my channel is still too small (only 394 subscribers) and is not monetized, so I do not have the resources to buy too much gear for reviews. But I will keep your request in mind and hop on the opportunity, as soon as one presents itself.
Why didn't you 'hammer it in' to make sure the high fret was seated properly and re-rocker it first? It IS a New guitar (New fret job), and all frets are accurately sized from the fret manufacturer. It's the pressing in inconsistencies that most often varies fret height with New fret jobs.
Good question. I like to offer service options to all customers. Explain the option, give them a price range. This customer decided not to pay for the option of reseating the frets.

Glad you enjoy it!

Although I did have a few Cort guitars on my bench, I never had a KX300 so I don't have any opinions. Thanks for your comment.
Great video! Good work!
