I send off all my fuses early game to get tokens. They give 2500 and cost 2500, so you don't lose anything by replacing them later as you need them. But the HUGE boost in tokens early game can score you great QOL recipes like T2 lockers.
5:13 when is surprised that you're not building multiple vehicles and then putting them on your pocket and using them to storage space and then calling them back to your base to unload them😊
I like this map very much because of the struggle. You have to think around problems like energy a lot more than on the main planet, so it takes patience. I like that it's not so easy this time! The new Biome's and plants are fabulous and the system with the ore crusher is more balancing than easy farming. This planet is much more changing from early on to the late state, so it's more interesting throughout the whole game. So don't run and appreciate more. Greetings from Germany.

Love the series! I'm on my first Humble playthrough. I'm kind of stuck (larva shortage) and I've unlocked things that use pulsar, but haven't found any. Plus, if a pulsar storm comes, I'm usually underground and can never see where they've hit!
I always sell the rods, all varieties but mainly Iridium and Uranium. Now that I can make pulsar quartz I keep getting Pulsar storms, LOL. Great video, and those Ecosystems are the bomb, they make a lot of plants, I have found that insects lag until you can make insect rockets, then it takes off.
I made a massive silk farm for the trade rockets then forget about em. Also you made butterflies when you can find them at bottom of the cliff. Golden larva is also found there. Made a iron platform above the beach. They spawn like crazy there.
@@surtrplays lol you even mentioned it in a past video. Made myself a ramp from top down to bottom after that video and at my turnback for ramp I made a platform and alrdy have a full box of Serena and 12 golden larva.
I have 16 T2 Uranium power thingys, is that a lot? Dunno, on the first plant, my main past time when i got T1 miners was running constantly for Uranium for rods for power, the ore crusher makes that part far easier.
Tip: if you can help it, DON'T disassemble chests. I found some new stuff in a chest I'm sure I grabbed from earlier in my play. initially it had just basic stuff, then when I looked again it had a fuse and some other stuff.
Good one again. I was so sure some of the underground caves would be like the rainbow caves on the previous planet - full of the various quartz types - but seems not to be so? There does appear to be a lack of cosmic quartz. You found about 8 or so? Maybe the trick will be to use the portal to gain more quartz variants, then rinse and repeat that. Start off small, and eventually get a good stock.
They added some energy fuses to the game in the recent update. I don't know if they can be found in the chests in the 2 ships (I had already cleared the chests before the update). but i got 1 energy cell in one ship and 2 in another , but you need to unlock the ships with fusion energy cells to get them.
Not sure if you’ve found it already or not. But there was a +1200% oxygen golden tree seed. On a high ledge in the ice cavern early on. That you’ll likely need to make a bridge or staircase to get.
You need two energy fuses to really feel the benefits - the first one is only a 50% boost, but the second one doubles your power. (Then the third one is back to a 50% boost, but still decent.) Technically you didn't finish the fish stage, you started it. 11:09 Is that a new spacesuit?
Just made enough Terra Tokens to afford the 2 energy fuses that i needed to make the portal generator, now i can start farming for fuses and more quartz. The crushers are annoying never get enough iridium ore and get loads of uranium ore and end up shredding most of the stuff including tons of super alloy that i get from the crushers. You did say cause of single resource it would be less work for the drones but it actually more, cause of the constant need to move the unwanted to shedders.
@@surtrplays tried that It not the distance it primarilly the extra work the drones have to do, in the T3 crushers you get 5 resource 3 or 4 of them are useless and have to be disposed of so they don't clog up the crushers. It basically the T2 ore extractor problem but worse cause it even more random.
They do on the beach you end up at, when climbing down the vines, not nessasary to go to the islands and sandbank. I put up a Super Alloy Rod production down there and when i went to pick them up, before i got drones, i alwas picked up a few larva and butterflies, those Goldens are fantastic at 1500% and Serenas at 1200%
If can have drones, then go for T2 blueprint, since helps a lot automating and speeding up production overall, more time to explore and build. 1 Energy Fuse add half (150%) the output (2 doubles), so save materials making power devices, often can remove to lesser ones and use or sell rods. I tested out making T1 Mutagen for sale, have 3 rockets going, but need roughly 24 water generators and 8 Algae ones. Probably better do rods, loop in of Super Alloy of regular ores. Or just rack up with T3 Extractors for Osmium where only need auto-crafters close, and even can put down trade rockets, no need for Chrushers.
@@PI_Joe_Mama I did not say no use of Crushers, was if to make rods then with Osmium rods you do not need one. For the 3 other rods you need Crusher to get the ores.
I usually sell off every production fuse I get, they really aren't needed. I also end up selling excess rods, because there comes a point when you have way more iridium and uranium rods than you need. Edit: Personally, I try to get one of each butterfly, fish, frog, tree and flower, because I've noticed that some of them don't appear in the wild unless you actually introduce them to the eco system. I first noticed it with trees and started to pay attention. Some trees *do* appear on their own, such a Rubera on Planet Prime, but you won't see the blue leafed or golden leafed ones in the wild unless you actually put down a tree spreader with them. So, after noticing it, I started to pay attention, and there are places where butterflies congregate, and some species don't actually show up in these areas until you have a butterfly dome or butterfly farm with them in it. Some species of butterfly do show up on their own, just like with some tree species. It'd be interesting to look into and compile a list of which plants and animals do show up on their own, and which do not.
I'm definitely thinking about selling the production fuses, I'm just not sure what I will buy first. I do need to save TTs because they cost for the postal generator is high. I think you need 2 energy fuses and 2 fusion cells. In 1.0 they did change how and when the plants, insect, fish, frogs and mammals appear on the maps so I'm sure this is the same.
@@surtrplays I usually get the cooking station, wheat, and cocoa (obviously), and three power fuses as soon as I can. 3 power fuses combined with four to five fusion reactors gives you all the power you need for the rest of the game in my experience. after that, I go for the uncraftable tree, fish egg, and frog egg. Then the space suits (because I like to collect *all* of them, lol). Finally, I pick up the rest of the things at my leisure as I accumulate terra tokens. But it really comes down to what you need at this moment.
Are you too much of a purist to save scum on chests? In the last couple updates on both test and live, they seem have unlocked plant fuses much earlier than before. It seemed almost impossible previously to get a plant fuse before unlocking tree spreaders to tier 2, which was painful. And you are right on about exploring. One of the caveats of the game is exploring, but there are a finite number of chests in the world. I like to save about half of them in each new area until much deeper in the playthrough so I can save scum the crap out of them when I know the stuff I need is in them. Energy fuse especially. I make it a point not to touch the big ship at the waterfall until I'm trying to build the portal generator. At that stage you can scum up the two fuses you need in that ship very easily. Once we learn where all the pulsar is on the new map the map will be much easier.
I think I have found all of the 'free' pulsar on the map and there isn't much. I'm hoping for some pulsar meteors until I get the portal generator. As far as the chests go, I should maybe have saved more until later, but I was exploring so maybe picked them up too early. They will not be important soon.

The deconstruct tool T3 doesn't do anything more than the T2 except a speed increase. I don't have too much of a problem with the vehicle. You just have to choose your routes carefully. That rover doesn't like anything in its way.

I too have become hand strung by power as making Quartz is unlocked much later now
It seems you just need to bide your time until you can do it yourself.

There are at least 2 pulsar rooms that I've found. The last one was in the lava area.

I got the bulk of my pulsar from meteors at least until I started automating them, like one meteor would drop every time I started playing.

I have only found 3 pulsar quartz, can´t build anything out of it. But have tons of fuses.
There are 2 caves that I show in my previous videos that you can get a total of 19 Pulsars.

I kind of disagree. Crushers are still crucial late game. Especially if you are a builder
