MY Fav style of set change up for intensity is doing rest pause waves. example: Each week progressively overload by increasing the rep intensity before de-loading on the 4th week and increasing the weights and repeating. These wave sets are big giant sets you can do 2-3 of them depending on your lifting experience. weight picked should be one you can only make the first rep goal to , I.E weight you just make 6 reps on, but then rest pause for 3 more reps, then rest pause for another 3 reps Week 1 - Wave 1: 6-3-3 Week 2 - Wave 2: 8-4-4 Week 3 - Wave 3: 10-5-5 Week 4 - Wave 4: Deload Week 5: increase weight and repeat week 1 Its like a really good power building set for compounds, my fav is to do it with things like "Rack Pulls" "incline bench press" "Bent over rows" etc. but can be chosen for any exercise you want to gain strength in but also add that "hypertrophy" element to by increasing the intensity
Thanks so much for this video! I absolutely love supersets. I feel incomplete unless I kill myself at the end of the workout. Supersets are a good way to train your muscles, mental strength, and muscle endurance, as well as to save time. I’ll definitely try this next Pull day on Thursday!
@@ScottHermanFitness I like to do supersets on days I didn’t quite hit my goals as well. Like… ok, I failed to hit X weight for Y sets of Z reps, but at least I killed myself at the end anyway to make up for it 😆

I got a question should I be using an arm blaster or should I learn the correct way of doing it without the arm blaster? when I start getting fatigue, I noticed that my arms move forward more, and my back starts swaying a little bit, which takes away from the curls

I wish I could get me a BowFlex Blaze, but I don't have enough room in my studio coach house man cave.
