I have no doubt Amsoil products are terrific. However, DIY Oil/filter change for my 7-qt. Subaru 3.6R using Pennzoil Ultra and OEM filter costs about $40.00 every six thousand miles. (Subaru manual spec) Same change using Amsoil products would be more than three times that. In order to equalize, I would have to run the Amsoil products for 18-24,000 miles...or about two years with my driving pattern...which I'm unwilling to experiment with notwithstanding Amsoil's promises. In five years and 70,000 miles, my Blackstone UOA's using Pennzoil Ultra and OEM filters are as good or better than any others I have seen. Think I'll keep doing what I've been doing.
It will work great in your gearbox but, Don't put it in your oil injection tank if you have oil injection or mix it with the fuel if it's premix. AMSOIL has several excellent two cycle oils for that.
1 question did you change the oil filter only at 4k or go the full 8 k mile and do it? I've run Bel-Ray full synthetic $80 a gallon smh good oil but I don't know if it is anything like Amsoil never sent it off to have it checked.

And Amsoil started the automotive synthetic market as well! You local drug store probably sells medications for more than Walmart and they aren’t scams, right?
Push it to 25,000 miles no one problem on Amsoil
I don't know if I missed it but did you do a Blackstone on the non-Amsoil for comparison? Good luck.
Add Bestline with that.... Amsol and Bestline are the best mix!
AMSOIL is Recommended for higher speed bike and for those engine which get hot very soon
This Amsoil Metric 10w40 is compatible with motorbikes 2-strokes? Thanks.
I went the full 8K with the filter.
Castrol synthetic blend 20 w 50 V-Star 650 . Just hit 122,000.. good enough😊
trying to put the best in your engine is never a waste.
If I put that many miles on my bike every year I would definately use amsoil.
8000 miles or KM??
Hey, did you knew that you mixed two different kinds of Amsoil oil in that engine?
I think it’s funny when Americans think Amsoil is expensive. Here in New Zealand it costs $45 a liter, ( one quart) . Even so I’m about to put it in my Sportster primary/ transmission
Redline is also a great oil.
At 6.60 a quart I’m saving money changing my oil every 6 months
That's sixty two THOUSAND, nine hundred and ninety miles on your bike there Broseph.
Some are getting same/similar results with other top line oils. M-1 EP, Pennzoils best auto oil, and of course, other 'Boutique' oils.
Nope. Amsoil is no fancy thing. It does work longer and better. Just good synthetics.
GO BIG RED
Amsoil is definitely the best
You look like David Wallace.
I just looked at picture and I definitely see the resemblance
best oil for my bike...
Amsoil is a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!
IT'S JUNK!
Good video, but I will say that oil is a religion and every guy has his favorite brand, and a colorful story to go along with it. You probably would have got same results with any other leading brand of syn motorcycle oil.
Nice video! Guarantee Rotella will have the same results.
Mogul is proven to be the best.
Maybe you mean Motul? Project farms oil test had Motul loosing early, where Amsoil ultimately won. Motul had a larger wear scar than Amsoil as well.
Hell no... waste of money
Sixty two hundred, nine hundred and nighty miles... "Really".... So that Would be 7190 miles... I'm guessing.. Yet your odometer is showing 62,990...Miles... Better get a handle on your math... or eyesight... Stick to Math!
At $100 a quart ...its a bargin.....
My bday sept 2 lol
For Cruse bike LIQUI MOLY is better

rotella t6 will probably give you the same results

I had a 2001 triumph triple that recommended 20/40 oil not 20/50 so Amsoil didn’t sell that so I went with the special Mobil oil mixed in France for triumph later another company sold 20/40 so I tried it what a mistake loud engine notchy transmission I talked to a amsoil dealer and he said stick to the Mobil 1 why he said that surprised me but I have a Harley now and used amsoil sinse I bought it
