Sony TV Sleep Timer -

Here's how to set the sleep timer on your Sony TV. NOTE: This works with newer Sony TVs. If you have an older Sony television, the process may vary slightly.

When I do this my tv turns off immediately?! No matter what way I access the sleep timer it does this?!

That's a weird one. Maybe try updating the TV's software and then try again?
