I offer sales and use tax services.
I used to do taxes but don’t anymore.

Hi Mark,
I have my first bookkeeping client. His business is an LLC Upholstery shop that’s been in business since late 2020. He hasn’t done his bookkeeping and hasn’t paid any taxes. He’s had a couple bookkeepers who came in went and a couple laborers who came and went. He now does the jobs himself
He is in deep debt and i’d like to help but my background is doing books for dunkin donuts from the safety net of a public accounting firm who already had all the procedures in place. All I did was cookie cutter bookkeeping
Could you recommend first steps? My biggest question is - when doing books for a company who hasn’t done their books since day 1, do you start with the current month and work backwards, or work with the start of the business and work forwards?
This guy needs help from someone. His books have to get done and his taxes have to get paid and i’d love to be able to look back as the guy who helped him. I feel i could learn a ton from helping him but i’m completely lost on where to begin
I wouldn’t even mind paying you a small amount to have a 30 minute call about the specifics of the client
