@@appalachhaun_adventures feels exactly the same to me. Some people say it’s stiffer, which can’t be possible because the springs are not being changed.
hi was thinking about going westscott 2.5 with 285/75/17 does it clear the tire even at full turn or does it still rub and if so what area does it rub thanks
@@CalvAnon I live in the city, there’s tires shops within 1-2 miles of eachother. Also with the larger tires, there isn’t room for a spare that big. I also have roadside assistance if necessary. Risky, but well thought out prior to removing.
@@carswithkaro “IF” I missed it, did you feel the need to do “1k break-in oil change”? Just want to get your input on this subject. Reason for asking is I have about 500 miles left to go till I hit 1k on my 24’ TRD Sport and wanted to hear input from others for comparison purposes.
@@CalvAnon I personally did not, but if you want the peace of mind it definitely wouldn’t hurt to do so. I cut the Toyota recommended service interval in half. So, I change my oil every 5k miles. 10k is way too long in my opinion for a heavy truck powered by a turbo 4 cylinder
What load range e or c. I bought e and I can’t tell if the ride it more stiff just cause of the tread being more aggressive than stock or if it’s cause I got the 10ply
Looking good man!
When you took it offiroading didn't you notice the clicking and clumping that the wescott kit is doing ?
Wescott collar kit will make your cv axles clunk on steep driveways
Have you noticed it yet ?
Thanks i been debating on which offset i think 18 looks perfect
@@JasonRadcliff-tm3lb anywhere from 25 to 18 suits it so well!
How is the ride after that lift! Feels the exact same?

@ ok. I don’t know much about the IFS. Coming from Jeep lol 😂. So wasn’t exactly sure what that preload collar was even for lol. Thanks!! 🙏

@@melenieignacio6949 no rubbing at all!
You can go up to a 35” tire with it, but I prefer the look of the 285/75.
@@carswithkaro thanks so much cant wait to do this mod and nice truck btw bro 🤙
This is the exact set up I have. There is no rubbing. You can even go a little larger
Wow that’s nice

I noticed you removed spare tire? Risky isn’t it? As the saying goes “it’s never a good time to get a flat”.
