So, there's so many great movies with blu ray releases out there that does not have a trailer for making the promotion to it, so I decide to create trailers for them. My second attempt HELLO DOLLY! from 20th Century Fox is now in Blu Ray
I do not own the rights, Im using the clips just as a mere promotion to 20th Century Fox and the movie it self

Such a great beloved film. I know this got a lot of flack when it came out with being just TOO much and Barbra being too young. But after all this time it's like a fine wine, it just got better. Enjoy it for what it is, a big, grand, extravagant over the top musical that is an extinct genre today. Yes, musicals are still made, but as they say, not like this anymore. Enjoy the music, the joy, the costumes, the fantastic sets and gargantuan musical numbers and just bask in the lavishness and pure happiness that this movie provides.

Yes, it’s over the top, it’s too frothy, Barbra was too young. Who cares?! It’s first class entertainment with great songs, great singing (Streisand at the top of her game), great scenery, great costumes. It was made during the height of the Vietnam war, completely out of synch with that period. But now you can view it as a great step back in time to the turn of the 20th century. It’s irresistible.

They were probably going to get an older Dolly until they saw Barbra Streisand, then everybody was fine with a 20 year old Dolly.

@@ginasilverman1477 they were gonna use the original dolly from broadway but her voice wasn’t appealing in terms of a 2 hour musical so they chose Barbra who was already a hit an amazing talent

It was the Blu Ray release that finally caused this movie to turn a profit. (The first home video release in 1984 brought the deficit down to under a million dollars.) Okay, so it took 45 years.
