it's lengendary rarity like weird ball or weird flower but also random spawn too, near any gravitational anomaly there's a chance it will spawns so it not unique
@@ACatNamedOrwell The in-game description clearly states that it is a legendary artifact, just like others such as the Thunderberry, which can only be found near electro anomalies. The "legendary artifacts" you mentioned are probably "legendary altered items" (not sure if this is a reference to Control or not). These are more like unique, legendary-tier artifacts that resemble real objects, unlike the others, which are just weird shapes.
@j3angerz I do know what you're referring to yes. And yes i am referring to the altered artifacts but if you notice the 6 legendary artifacts all start with the prefix "weird" I.E. weird bolt, weird nut, weird water, weird flower, weird pot, and weird ball. Only found at the 6 arch anomalies on the map. Additionally the descriptions for each weird artifacts have a preface before delving into their own descriptions all stating: "One of the legendary "altered items" often mentioned in hushed tones by stalkers around the campfire." While i agree with you that the descriptions for artifacts such as compass and thunder berry use the word legendary in their descriptions they are not THE legendary artifacts. They are simply "legendary" in their rarity of sorts as opposed to the regular artifacts as they have the best stats IMHO i think for items such as thunder berry and compass shouldn't have used the word legendary on those items, but i guess they do specify "altered item" so perhaps that's the real defining difference between them
@@ACatNamedOrwell I agree, devs should make the descriptions of these artifacts clearer, especially regarding their rarity. Maybe they should call these farmable legendary artifacts 'very/extremely/ultra rare' or something similar. Alternatively, they could drop the term 'legendary' for the unique ones and just call these 'altered items" or you know just "Unique"
You can get a bear detector early game. If you want to hunt artifacts easily I'd recommend getting it by helping some guy who dropped his gun and left his stash
I just finished playing and i had acepted a mission to find an artifact spawned in the light of a full moon! I guess maybe time of the day should influence the type of artifact that can spawn/respawn (yes, after some slepps the artifacts spots will respawn more artifacts randomly)!
this is true; its rng; you need to hunt for it after every emission. So it guess its a good area to search after emission. i actually found it on my very first play through but i forgot where i found it.

No those are the 6 legendary artifacts. Which have specific spots they spawn in. This is high rarity meaning to can spawn anywhere

Great share 👍
Yes it's random, so save 60 or so meters away and try it over and over. I got it on fourth try. Flytrap, whirlwind, flytrap and then compas.
yeah 60m seems to be the sweet spot here. lots of people saying 150, thats just unnecessary.

its situational artifact, i search in the area and find a normal artifact only.

do you know if spawning has anything to do with progress?
Lmao is that an AI voice?
I spent 4 hours here, there must be conditions for it to spawn
Been at this 4 hrs ffs I never have any luck 😂😂😂😂
I KEEP GETTING JELLY FIsh
Yeah it’s random unfortunately but I did get one that’s strong physical and max rad.
it's random spawn
I spend 2 hours still nothing, really bad luck!
same, i'm thinking there must be more to it. not sure what yet.
The artifact that spans is random. Thumbs down.
