Early game gem: There is a RAM 2 for free in a chasm near the red forest. Expensive to wield but it absolutely melts anything. I went for it straight after the lesser zone opened up.
I haven't seen any channel talking about the fact that literally once you exit the main prologue, you can head on to the Cordon region(from de SouthEast corner of the Lesser, and get an early AS Lavina, an SPSA, a Buket, the SPECIAL AK74U, a High capacity attachment for the AR, Military Body Armor, artifact and a bunch of goodies.
@@douwe4254 No its not . Wheres the fun ? How to have fun if can kill easily in the beginnend of the game everything because i have a overpovered armor a weapon ?
@@ahoym865 no it doesn't, just don't upgrade it, you really don't need it upgraded at all. Even completely stock it's still the best shotgun in stalker 2.
For people who can't afford all the upgrades, or can't just install mods to fix the broken economy, a stock unmodified Saiga is still probably the best weapon in the entire game for almost every situation, and even more amazing for the short period of endgame once you can get the extended and the drum mag for it.
SPAS was my shotgun of choice from the beginning since the game put 3 in my inventory on the way to the starting city and since I did not know about the bug yet I thought I got them from corpses, a little broken but have enjoyed it for sure!
It's not all about the amount of rounds you have, sure 21 is handy but so is 14. The RAM 2 takes 2 volleys to kill a blood sucker on Rookie, 3 volleys on Stalker using buckshot (less using slugs), and it has better range, accuracy, and penetration, vital for heavily armoured targets, especially when those targets are moving. The thing's a delete button.
exactly, the fire rate is godlike with spas and if you need to pull those 8 round out in a matter of seconds that is the best choice for it. Godlike shotgun. 870 is awesome too.. Try to fight Burer or Controller and see the diference yourself.
I actually got really lucky in the building where the damaged spas an enemy dropped one right outside that was yellow damaged. It was the first time found a shotgun that wasn’t the double barrel or the over under one.
There’s another SPAS in cement factory that’s in a locked room up steps that you have to grab they key out of the silo like 30 feet away from it(and there’s a poltergeist in the silo when you jump down into it on top of one of those bouncy anomalies; just toss 3-4 grenades down directly on top of it every time it moves l o l). I know cement factory isn’t as close as Cordon is; I’m only suggesting it because it’s already at 100% when you pick it up which makes a pretty big difference since we’re assuming you’ll be VERY early game. Also, if you feel like you can deal with 2 Burers, there’s a side mission in this same area where you have to go down into sewers and get a dudes gun for him(it’s Decider, the unique Fora) but you get a bear detector as well as all the other shit you get from that side quest and getting that detector early is HUGE since at least in my personal opinion; both the echo and hilka fucking suck 😂😂 Hilka is definitely BETTER and the range is nice but it’s really finicky and I’d MUCH rather just have the radar thing from the bear detector. Obviously not as good as the ACTUAL radar on the Veles; but it still takes you directly to the artifact and is significantly easier to use and makes finding artifacts WAY quicker. ALSO, if you feel like running up to the cooling towers real quick; you can snag yourself a Dnipro as well at the top of the one with the fire thing on the map. There’s a teleported anomaly on the way up that puts you at the top and then you have to jump all the way down onto another bouncy anomaly. Definitely not a bad start AT ALL to leave garbage real quick and end up with a SPAS, Dnipro, Bear detector AND the SEVA-D armor(but even tho I sided with stalkers in Zalyssa my first save; I made a 2nd just to do the opposite and check out chemical plant and ended up finding the unique AsVal, an EMR, a BUNCH of other good shit and the biggest thing is the Bulat armor. It’s a little heavy at like 9-10kg I think but it has CRAZY good physical protection with 4 artifact slots, and you can upgrade it to have almost maxed out physical, 2 leaded containers and a 5 ones total, and +10% carry capacity as well and it’s honestly been HUGE for my 2nd save. I just sold the SEVA-D immediately since it’s already so good BUT I’m pretty sure there’s also an exo armor in the cooling towers too so you could get that as well 🤷🏻♂️ I also just really like the duty base at the cement factory in general too for some reason lmao especially since I don’t think you even go there for the main story AT ALL; it’s nice to get it out of there and explore both that and the towers and grab everything good early
i found one in chemical plant area off a body after some fight went down, but i did shoot Nimble for his saiga just after i helped that dude you shot 😂 he wasn’t so nimble it seems 😅
Saiga unfortunately, to get any good attachment is just before the point of no return, so you're stuck with 9 shells in a super fast firing shotgun and having to reload x2 more.
If I go out of destroyed Sircaa and saw "Little" Moving Stone, I was most scarry and go to undergroun trying be invisible as posible and go in style as Fattest ninja, bcs i have lot of ammo 9*18 only this type, little more than 5 full stacks (4500+ pcs) and lot of heavy artefacts and half of garbage off medicaments and food. I got the predator and it seems to do more damage than any other shotgun. Might upgrade my saiga and use it instead but right now i am actually not sure if it is worth it. Feels like the predator just hits so hard and it was free!
You can get that shotgun on story mode by sparing a npc life not to kill him in the cave. I can't remember his name but he drops that shotgun if you spare his life.
