I know nothing about guns, but if you read the game description it says 'assault rifle' in stalker 2. It used to use 7.62x54mm ammunition in STALKER Clear Sky, they changed it in stalker 2 haha
@@ESOdanny In Russia, it is considered a submachine gun(the tiny AK). Russians name the weapon by it's role. So a close quarter automatic rifle that is super short is called an SMG. In the US, weapons are named by caliber. An SMG is a compact weapon firing pistol ammo(that makes it an SMG). So even an M4 with an 8 inch barrel is still considered an assault rifle, because of the ammo it uses.
@@user-jy6ge7yh3j Not sure about Russians but everyone else on the planet considers the AS VAL an assault rifle, not an SMG. And in the western hemisphere an assault rifle with a short barrel is generally called a carbine. Not that it matters, just letting you know.
On the southern half of the map, those AS Val bullets are kinda hard to come by ime so far. Not sure if I have hit the loot threshold or not with the merchants but have def been having a tough time finding ammo for that particular gun.
Trophy is a good weapon yes. The problem that you don't mention about getting it early in the game is that the ammunition is super rare or almost non-existent at this stage of the game, especially for the weapon to draw its potential from its rate of fire. Suffice to say that those who want to use it right away won't have fun for very long. And in view of the thumbnail of the video that you tell us about at the end, it's an even bigger problem with the M14. Basically, for those who hope to have a powerful weapon from the start, these weapons are, yes, but are unusable before reaching a stage of the game where you can finally recover bullets from enemies and finally make it "useful". That is to say, at a stage of the game where you will also find the classic variants of the weapon. It's a bit like giving a Ferrari but with only 2 litres of petrol to someone who doesn't yet have a licence. Sidorovitch sells Vintar (26k) at the cordon and just to the east of his village, there is a cave (quite dangerous) which bears its name and which contains 2 artifacts and a basic Valina (well, there is also a Mutan Controller to face or flee in an anomaly field). A vendor at the very north of the cordon sells the ammunition for these weapons but at an exorbitant price.
You should bring back the killing things in the video like you did with skyrim. With a sniper or something since there aren't any bows. Although having about in stalker would be nice.

"uniquely modified AK-47 with a silencer" Yeah just to clarify, that's not an AK. Its an ASVAL.
"The Teenage Mutant Turtles" - lameo
When you walked up to the safe where trophy is located, the search option appeared, meaning you could have searched it without solving the puzzle lol. For anyone that didn't see it.
Thanks for the info. Anyone for a drinking game - take a shot every time he says 'go ahead.' Getniii pisshhhed tnoooit 😉
Bro doesnt even play the game but made an informative video about it
6:15 Clip??? 13:58 A uniquely modified AKM-47 (7.62x39) when it's clearly an AS-VAL (9x39)... cries in disappointment... Thanks for the vid anyways though. Learn your shit! :)
I went to garbage after the lesser zone with the story. Does the story swing back around to the chemical zone or should I just go there. I’m onto the fourth zone as far as the story has took me thus far.
Love how you fail to mention the teleport that drops you on the roof actually kills you because of fall damage.......
I didn't even know i sided with anybody i thought going to garbage was just part of the story
Only real name they used in the past was VSS Vintorez. I’m not sure about AS Val if they used the real name before.
Thanks will go grab the weapons now! but also I just have to say this , my brother in christ magazines not clips not a single weapon in this game uses clips
Southeast Garbage place has enemies that have a chance to drop a helmet that shadows that mask by a longshot.
Trophy is an AS VAL
You can literally find everything in early game. It's stupid. Every aspect of that game except graphic engine is a step back compare to STALKER that has been released 17 years ago. It's a joke. Another Ubisoft game.
YOU MISSED THE FORA-221 IN THE SAME LOCATION AS THE SPSA-14 it’s on the roof go up the stairs and jump through the window it’s right on the ledge
0:09 the sight clipping through the rail is way funnier that it should be
11:24 “it’s basically a handheld sub machine gun”
Brother, what other kinds of sub machine guns are there?
Dont know if someone posted this, but the Mercenary suit is also in the first zone. .got one. so yes
Great video, Is it me or are the bloodsuckers near the portal anomaly impossible to kill as the animations are slow by the time you have reloaded and hit a med pack your about dead so have to take another and they seem more invisible
Just want to thank you for your time and videos. I know it’s not easy doing this. As always with the internet you always get people who have to find something wrong with everything and just pounce on it and say snarky things. If you have a problem that he’s doesn’t have extensive gun knowledge, then stop watching the videos! YOU aren’t out here taking time out of your day making videos. You obviously got and get some value out of the videos so why make snarky comments? You can correct and critic people, but let’s not forget this is also a human being. You don’t have to be a jerk in the process. Anyways ESO keep up the good work! I look forward to your future videos.
Is there freeplay after finishing the main story?
"Before It's Too Late" you do know this is not online game, they will always be there also why make video like this and not knowing some informations but pull them out of your ass
Br*tish nogunz moment.
It’s not an AK74, it’s an AS VAL
Before going over the bridge the shack has a safe in the desk.
Bruh, it is not AKM-47, it is AS-VAL.
Can't wait to try stalker 2, when I finally get a gaming PC, also what is going on with the bots
They have it on console. Can play it on Xbox game pass for free. I’m assuming it would be better on pc(mods, graphics, quick inventory movement, ect..)
@@wyattlippy2940 I don't have a next gen and surprisingly a gaming PC is cheaper than next gen consoles where I live
@@wyattlippy2940 im on pc and the reviews are not good
People are saying its a dead world and it crashes every 2 hours
Plus it needs some balances apparently
15:00 written - STOP - throw your sigarette
10:30 glass shard anomalies .... crouch walk through them and you dont bleed
Holy crap, you call a submachine gun an assault rifle, you say it uses 7.62 when it uses 9x39, you call an as-val an akm, and you keep saying clip instead of magazines 🤣 I'm pretty sure I missed some more too. I normally wouldn't mind, but this was sensory overload lol
AS VAL is not a modified AK it’s another gun entirely
"it's called the tranforem on the island"
For some reason when I jump into the spatial anomaly I don’t fall onto the anomaly on the roof, I just hit the ground and die
Dude is living in his own little world of ignorance. living the dream...
Instead of the spas-12 I use the siaga 12 because it’s faster quick reload and just as much damage
On the southern half of the map, those AS Val bullets are kinda hard to come by ime so far. Not sure if I have hit the loot threshold or not with the merchants but have def been having a tough time finding ammo for that particular gun.
It's alot more common the closer you get to Pripyat
It’s teenage mutant ninja turtles sir lol
Where the spas and grom are. There is also another assault rifle on the roof
14:05 that is a modified AS Val, a special forces assault rifle, its not a modified ak ! it is the lesser brother of the far better vss vintorez
The pen drives were blueprints.... Now you tell me after I've been selling them for ammunition 🤦🤦🤦🤦
Lullaby best rifle
The Grom-S14 is chambered in 9x39 NOT 7.62x54R
After playing stalker 2, how well would you say it runs, would you compare to cyberpunk at launch?
If you have enough RAM it runs better than cyberpunk 2077 at launch, but my PC build is not like the average users.
@ESOdanny will 16g be enough or will 32gb be needed.
Anyone comparing Stalker 2 to Cyberpunk is demented
@@Hunter-zf7rt I'm on 32, so i have not testes 16g.
@@ESOdanny thanks, this will help me when I get my computer.
