Hi I ordered a Tiffen glimmer glass filter for mine, did you need an adapter ring to fit your Pro Mist on it? And are you using the lens cap that came with the camera over the filter? Thanks!
I didn't see anyone crying or showing vitriol at all. I saw people commenting on how silly and delusional it is that every time you want to buy a truck or a camera or anything at all, frugal or not (which you absolutely should do, buddy! More power to you! If you can and want, buy away!) are the excuses and justifications you give for doing it! At least that was the root of my personal criticism. Eg: of all the reasons for buying the great cam that the x100VI is - and rest assured that it is 6, brother. It was already 5, and now it's 6 for sure - you chose to talk for almos half of the video about it "being discrete", which is far from being a unique feature of that product, much less one that people care about at that price point.. and it's not smaller than other compact options, either! So maybe a comparison, then! What are the features that this camera offers, that nothing else delivers has at its size, at its price point, etc? The way you did it, doesn't inform anyone, doesn't add value nor helps the audience who is trying to figure out their own reasons (superfluous or not) to pull the trigger on that purchase... nor adds value to the product itself! It felt either lazy, superficial, and/or maybe even an engagement bait to feed into this self-serving "underdog drama" narrative you sometimes build for yourself (the pickup truck rant video and hissy fit ytshorts are another example of that) when people point out that shallow excuse-giving behaviour, just so you get to make a new video with 5 more minutes of reactionary behavior and even more excuses. Just...don't bait people to waste their time... and allow us the chance to like you, man! Show and tell us why you really want it, even if its only because its new and shiny. We'll relate, we understand how you feel! And when you get it, show us why you love it and the cool stuff only you can make with it. There's no reason to suffer, and not everyone is against you, brother.
I am considering buying the X100V or the Ricoh GR III. I really prefer the size of the Ricoh, and I have been waiting for an upgrade for a year, but who knows when that will happen. Since you have both, which one do you prefer? Thank you!
