This is what I expected when I heard that Disturbed was making a cover. I dont wanna say I was 100% disappointed, but this......this makes the disturbed cover look so soft.

For all of the "metal" covers of this song, this is the only one I've seen that actually hits the mark
Most people are trying to be S&G and slather some metal on top - and while perhaps that has its own allure - you two managed to innovate without losing the spirit of the original.

I'm still coming back to this cover even to this day. When I'm streaming my gaming on twitch, when I'm at home with family and just wanting to chill to some good music, this is usually one of the first I put on. I WISH that I could play as good as that. I wish I had the gear to record stuff as clear and professional as this. I wish a lot of things, but man, its so good to listen to this that I'll have to settle with living my music vicariously through you, Cole, and the ones you perform with. Keep it up, you are my guitar idol.

This is my favorite version of the song by far. And the only version I've heard that actually ends with the WORD silence instead of cutting out (to silence) before saying it. Steve Glasford is awesome but it was actually hearing Cole Rolland come in with ACTUAL ROCK AND ROLL that made me say "Gotta buy this on itunes".
Which actually led to me buying the album it's THAT GOOD.

@@ColeRolland No problem. I listened to all 3 albums but this one is by far the best album (for me). The only disappointment so far is like many other artists when you did the Pokemon remix you didn't do the 3rd verse but noone ever does. I only ever heard it on the first film's soundtrack. Though if you do more i. The future more anime songs would be cool. So much good music out there and lots of it is easy to get permission to play (You should see how many singers put their own Naruto albums on iTunes...Yikes!)
No but really a lot of anime tunes have rock remixes. I suggest just check out the rock remix of "Unravel" by "The Unknown Songbird" to see an anime remix done right and try some of your own!

Àwesome Füķ'ň cover of Disturbed's cover , was always a favorite of mine with Simon & Garfunkel as a kid, then i heard Disturbed's cover of it and thought it was great but it should've been more in the style like this cover.
