God I love the transition into the main theme, it's a fucking shame that the theme is never used in other Mystery Dungeon theme but that theme will always be the "Mystery Dungeon theme"
Your friend is heartbroken...A true friend, a friend for life...You finally realize it now...If you wish, and wish very strongly...Perhaps you will meet again......... CREDITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with you wholeheartedly. PMD Credits not only re-states motifs from the opening theme, but expounds on them in a whole new way to give a feeling of bittersweet triumph.
welcome to the salty spitoon, how tough are ya? how tough am i? i watched the credits of this game! yeah, so? WITHOUT CRYING. uh... step right this way sir...
I cried like a little bitch back then. Was 11 or 12. This game had my feelings on a rollercoaster. It was a tough time back then, but this was my delight. Thank you for uploading this.
Crying like a bitch from back then isn't so bad. I lost this amazing fucking game. And when I found it, Jesus I played this so badly it felt like a Nostalgia!!
they.. they rolled the credits while my partner was tearing up for me... I cried so damn hard,, just before the credits finished and I realized my character got back because of postgame content purposes.
Things like this are worth to live for, to experience...few people can make a game with a such a huge amount of emotions, both sadness and happiness, and the feeling of adventure, exploring the world...the Mystery Dungeon games are truly breathtaking experiences...
Of all the PMD songs, this one holds a special place. Parting may be the most emotional, Sky Tower may be the most epic, but this one holds the most memories. I just keep coming back to it, especially with Super PMD coming out. Also Bes I'm gonna make an orchestral version of this song and might use your sheets a bit (quite a lot actually XP) to save time, hope you won't mind. I'll credit you as the arranger of course :)
I always loved the credit music of video games since its the best of all the songs in the game put together, telling the story of the adventure that just happened. This one brings you out of your tears and forces you to remember everything that you and your partner shared together, showing that even though you left your partner you will always remember the good times.
An idea I had for a 6th gen PMD game, they could use the world in Red/Blue Rescue Team, but make a new storyline that happens a long time after the storyline in Red/Blue Rescue Team, but connects back to it.
They could possibly even incorporate mega stones, like maybe mega-evolving for one floor, where specific stats go up, as well stat boosts that last for that floor
And now we depart forever.... but forever in our hearts and we shall never forget the friendship we had and the fun we had.... remember that you will... al.. always be my friend....
Last this game madr me cry was last year I was 20 at the time and all of those memories of beating this for the first time as a kid really do flood in as this plays.
I love when games have a soundtrack that takes to a certain tune, and then when it's over, it returns to that tune, and reminds you of the game. It adds a lot more than is noticeable by most.
Bespinben, not sure if you still check these comments, but I must say... This track I have held dear to me ever since I first heard it. But for sure, the most awe-inspiring thing that has ever happened to me, was also accompanied by this track. Which I listened to in triumph as the sun rose on the horizon, signaling the dawn of a new era. I had been awake all night, expecting the world to end. December 21'st, 2012. I sobbed with joy as I recited this very track in my head.. True story. xD
I love this style even more than the original theme. Beautiful transition from the start into the theme itself and the nostalgia from watching the credits feels great.
A very soothing and calm intro, slowly wavering into your mind... Then, a morning breeze seems to blow by you as the music plays slightly more intensely. You slowly wake up and look around you, you see nothing. In the end, you look around you and are reminded of all your exploits and adventures as a Pokémon, with your trusted partner; the music suddenly intesifies. There are some calmer parts with calm memories of your past. The end reminds you of everything, you slowly want to return, sobbing.
This played in my head. When my teacher in Texas sent me a letter in the 4th grade when and left my friends thare when i moved back home Rex and my teacher if you're Reading this i miss you so much T_T and i cry thinking about you guys
@poohcom1 It's a really good transition, indeed. You could think of this song as being in 3 sections: the soft, short intro (0:00 - 0:27), the interlude (your favorite part 0:28 - 1:03), and the main section following thereafter which is looped indefinitely.
When i first played this game and beat it, i cried when i had to leave the fun world and my partner, who was a squirtle. I cried even more when i heard this song. I love this game so much.
Your friend is heartbroken...A true friend, a friend for life...You finally realize it now...If you wish, and wish very strongly...Perhaps you will meet again......... I WISHED SO STRONGLY MY EYEBALLS POPPED OUT
epicfailmast3r They need to do what they did with the transition from Gen 5 to Gen 6 altogether. Take the criticism, and do a complete 180. Put the game back where it was and leave it that way.
I know I've been leaving a lot of comments and probably you were thinking, "again?" but these OST are truely great and it puzzles my mind why there isn't a lot of mp3 downloads of these. Also after I beat the main story, I felt saddened to say goodbye to a partner who believed in you from beginning to the end. And it also made me sad to see critiques bringing down on these games for "having a repetitive battle system" and they talk little to nothing about the music and story line of it.
Yesterday And OFC i am 30 I finished this game because Idk English and I didnt play it until it came on Nintendo switch online subscription and I am crushed by the ending and break my heart because I as a Squrtiel have to say goodbye to my partner Charmender and this game is the only only only game that makes me emotional by this far and I didnt see that coming AT THE AGE OF 30. Team Squritmnder forever. It seems I got so much attached to squrtile and charmender.
If I ever ACTUALLY become a good programmer and make my own game-- I would call it "renewal", and use things from other media from all over. And yet it would be its own unique time-line and story. That, I think, would be inspiring...
That's why a main theme is really important in a game :)
This is the only game I will stick around for the credits for. Too bad this song only plays once.
***** What a brilliant strategy.
***** This is true. Just finished the new one, it was really fun. As good as this one was, at least. I'm glad that Game Freak recovered from GTI.
Spike Chunsoft, actually.
Gates to infinity had the saddest ending and a decent story.
This song speaks to me on an emotional level.
This entire game spoke to me on an emotional level
God I love the transition into the main theme, it's a fucking shame that the theme is never used in other Mystery Dungeon theme but that theme will always be the "Mystery Dungeon theme"
Bits of that theme are in most PMD games... such as the credits theme from Explorers.
Well it’ll be used again now!
The leitmotif from this track will always be used in all other PMD ending themes.
memories of being young and bawling my eyes out over this ending
Yep, first video game ending that made me tear up at all
+
And now you get to do it again!
I'm too scared to listen to this song sometimes, they make me incredibly emotional. Hats off to this incredible OST.
I just noticed that Alakazam, Gengar, and Tyranitar all got mega evolutions...
So did Charizard and Medicham.
And Ek...aww shit
All we need now is Arbok..
Diamond Falcon And Charizard
Team ACT all got M evolutions
So did Team Charm
Your friend is heartbroken...A true friend, a friend for life...You finally realize it now...If you wish, and wish very strongly...Perhaps you will meet again.........
CREDITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Magifoofa 😢😢 then later 😊😊😊😊
"If you wish, and wish very strongly... perhaps you will meet again"
And we will in March!!! :D
Aww cutee
*whistling the song while crying*
this is too relatable
Me too, I cried so damn much
I agree with you wholeheartedly. PMD Credits not only re-states motifs from the opening theme, but expounds on them in a whole new way to give a feeling of bittersweet triumph.
Guarantee that I'll cry when this plays in the remake.
EDIT: Yep, I cried when this played in the remake.
"Perhaps you will meet again."
OUGH WHY DO THESE ENDING LINES HIT SO HARD
welcome to the salty spitoon, how tough are ya?
how tough am i? i watched the credits of this game!
yeah, so?
WITHOUT CRYING.

It always gets me when Iwatas name pops up
It's sad. At least we can go back and still play his games though!
Things like this are worth to live for, to experience...few people can make a game with a such a huge amount of emotions, both sadness and happiness, and the feeling of adventure, exploring the world...the Mystery Dungeon games are truly breathtaking experiences...
2006 man. good times, childhood etc. Was 12 at that time and replayed this game last year with 21.
My god, when the main theme part kicks in...
Best childhood game
Did anyone else notice that everyone from Team ATC got a Mega Evolution?
Yup! And Medicham, Gardevoir, Gengar, and Rayquaza!
And Groudon and Kyogre have Primal forms!
Lightning Master Not really the point, but ok....
Kellen Rist
Sorry! Couldn't help but point it out!
X3
Lightning Master I know what you mean. Np.
wait?! DOES THIS MEAN POKEMON RESCUE TEAM BLUE/RED CONFIRMED?!
*starts hyperfibrating*
"My invaluable... irreplaceable friend..."
Of all the PMD songs, this one holds a special place. Parting may be the most emotional, Sky Tower may be the most epic, but this one holds the most memories. I just keep coming back to it, especially with Super PMD coming out.

I can’t wait to experience this again in March! Such amazing memories
Memories, sweet memories. This brings back memories when I first played through it. I cried, something no other game could do to me.
+Theinsanegamer10 Now, Pokemon Black and White and Pokemon Mystery DUngeon Explorers of Sky. Man, Pokemon really touches my heart.
anyone else get goosebumps?
Will Pawelko
Yup

YES!
Considering Gen 6 has tons of Hoenn including remakes, it'd kinda make sense, but I wouldn't bring my hopes up.
They could possibly even incorporate mega stones, like maybe mega-evolving for one floor, where specific stats go up, as well stat boosts that last for that floor
Somanta Paul YEAH!
Theinsanegamer10 I will keep thinking of more ideas that could work
truly life changing game for me
Why are video game credits songs always so damn emotional?! T-T
The 3 people who disliked the video just couldn't handle how good of a song this is and how emotional the game made them
I use this song to think about my life
I used to. Now I only think about this series. Forever a mark of what changed me.
The fact that you came back 8 years later…
@@hope-zd3lv And I'd do it again.
@@sonicboom126 Usually, I don’t comment but I do it to. This game and music means all my childhood for me, and I guess it’s the same for you 😅
@@hope-zd3lv I fear we'll grow older never seeing the light of day when this masterpiece series.will ever have another anime.
And now we depart forever.... but forever in our hearts and we shall never forget the friendship we had and the fun we had.... remember that you will... al.. always be my friend....
Ready to cry again to this song!
Last this game madr me cry was last year

why am i still crying?! *crying noises*
Nintendo Golden Days of Pokémon. Best soundtrack ever created!!

Yup, still crying.
Ahh....Such powerful emotion.
It’s actually incredible how this theme has so much emotion and nostalgia attached to it take me back
I play this game when I was 9 years old ... remember... this is just an awesome game...
Iiyoshi...
Ishizuna...
Welcome back!
January 9, 2020
Gamefreak anounced that they had been working in a remake for this game
This day, was bright day for all of us
Game Freak doesn’t develop the Mystery Dungeon series, Chun Soft does, they didn’t announce working on this lol
This game is and will continue to be the only time I cried while playing a game
I love this style even more than the original theme. Beautiful transition from the start into the theme itself and the nostalgia from watching the credits feels great.
just a song that give me memories i never will forget. this is the only game i followed the story in

You, Machop and Charmander, will be part of my infance forever
One of the most emotional staff roll musics ever. Some only use the full version of the opening theme song as an ending theme song.
IM NOT CRYING, YOU'RE CRYING ;_;
;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;
#nou
Thanks again for uploading all of these
Those ARE the last lines. I quoted it straight from the game when you're returning to the human world.
Love the strings :D
Right in the feels
I know. But Ben,when you come back, you'll be greeted by a bunch of my piano videos.Thank you for this music.
I love the fact that peuple comment 6 years after the vidéo for say "they are a remake for this game !" And I love this
This played in my head. When my teacher in Texas sent me a letter in the 4th grade when and left my friends thare when i moved back home
Rex and my teacher if you're Reading this i miss you so much
T_T and i cry thinking about you guys

Listening this in a public area was a bad idea...
Blazer the Delphox
People these days right?
Would sound great! :D The score is the best of PMD, followed by the story! :)
So long ago. So many memories. Maybe one day
When i first played this game and beat it, i cried when i had to leave the fun world and my partner, who was a squirtle. I cried even more when i heard this song. I love this game so much.
It sucks that this video always has to end :3
Damn it, why can't I go back to that time, life is so bad nowadays.
And now it is.
Amongst other games i was furious about it being on the 3ds but now i have one i realise why they want it on there
So busy bawling my eyes out that i didn't even notice the credits.
I actually got goosebumps at 0:32, oh man.
Well, if you waited through the whole credits sequence...
Your friend is heartbroken...A true friend, a friend for life...You finally realize it now...If you wish, and wish very strongly...Perhaps you will meet again.........
I WISHED SO STRONGLY MY EYEBALLS POPPED OUT
I cry anytime I listen to this. In a good way. I played the game to completion.
Let's hope that they make a 6th gen mystery dungeon
I disliked last one, then I hope there will be a fangame :p
I would like it if they brought the Personality Test back.
And longer dungeons. No pre-ending dungeon was over 30 floors. It made the game way too easy.
epicfailmast3r They need to do what they did with the transition from Gen 5 to Gen 6 altogether. Take the criticism, and do a complete 180. Put the game back where it was and leave it that way.
Are you saying Gamefreak needed to bury Gen 5...?
Just finished blue rescue team and each time I hear this song I remember my parting with Chikorita and cried so hard
I know I've been leaving a lot of comments and probably you were thinking, "again?" but these OST are truely great and it puzzles my mind why there isn't a lot of mp3 downloads of these.

No dislikes. Everything is all right within the world.
Memories.
if you wish

This is the best credits ever
One of the best. Have you heard the sequels version. It is sad but inspires hope, something that was not touched upon until the third game.
The only credits that I don't walk away from the game for.
Kellen Rist Yes. I cried, I will admit that.
Theinsanegamer10 Its very good. It makes me feel sad and happy at the same time.
Kellen Rist Yeah. After the credits, wow. I never expected that in the first PMD.
Finally a video with no dislikes.
good one
Definitely my favorite one :D
*emotion*
Listening to it as I type. :D
Luv it!
I lik dis evrytim i cri
The feels bruh
I just realized, thats not what he meant. he meant the comment he made before, but those are just to feel sappy. the ending is fine. ^^"
He'll come back next year. Check his channel comments, there's the reason why he's gone.
Bidoof.......Waaaaaaaahhhhh!
Just your luck now there is one
i got it 2 days ago its epic!!
I had to subscribe~♩
Pretty much the only time I ever cried on a video game smh
Did you know that with the intro of blue and red you can hear rubber bands playing lol it’s true lol
If I ever ACTUALLY become a good programmer and make my own game-- I would call it "renewal", and use things from other media from all over. And yet it would be its own unique time-line and story. That, I think, would be inspiring...
Yes,and mainstream Pokemon games don't have a repetitive battle system...
Ben,come back!
The story line on this game is the best
It ook me 2 times efore i found out gengar was a !!!!!
This !!!! is so i dont ruin it for anyone!
I bought gates to infinity on 3ds
I almost cried when I heard gurdurrs story
By the way its epic!!!
Now for a 6th gen version, probably even next spring or fall.
