I wish more games did remixes like this. Combine a handful of the best tracks from a previous game in the series, and boom, you have a really memorable track. Guess that's why I'm such a sucker for Smash remixes.
Man blue rescue team had the best songs though! I knew all of these when playing sky for the first time after super. (Which was the only mystery dungeon game I skipped out on)
The best part of Gates was the music, hence why there is so much returning music from it in Super. Super was alright by my standards. The gameplay was really fluid, and I could see many improvements brought in from the PMD series, but also other spin offs like Etrian MD. The story however was trying to ride the success of explorers and that's where it fell short. Its just a quintessential hero's journey, that's all.

Sky had some great songs like crystal crossing and temporal tower but I still find myself listening to thunderwave cave, great canyon, sky tower, defy the legends, magma cavern, and buried relic a lot more. Sky did reuse some tracks like this, buried relic, and defy the legends so that's cool but all of the new songs weren't as good.

Same! I was really confused when I found the soundtrack for this game on RUclips several years ago and everyone kept referencing Red/Blue Rescue Team. Now I've played them and the remake
Playing this area again and hearing all the Melodies from red/blue rescue team made me smile especially when I could pick out the songs and the locations they belonged to.
as somebody who has only played through eos story once but absolutely ate brt throughout their childhood and adulthood, i really appreciate this track.
IDK anything about Rescue Team Red/Blue but this is highkey one of my favorites on this track, especially the first and third parts (if that makes any sense, haha!) and how it loops back to the beginning

I honestly couldn't remember Mt.Freeze, but when Sky Tower kicked in I was instantly teleported back in time, holy shit. And it happend again when Thunderwave Cave stated playing! Such an amazing medley and so fitting that it plays (canonically) during post game, specially if you played Rescue Team before playing EoS :')

i come back here every so often for 2 reasons: 1. Its a great pokemon mystery dungeons track, who wouldnt rewatch it when they wanna? 2. I miss CA:R (roblox game that used this track in their ice area, game died due to devteam dramas, game was eventually entirely removed for unknown reasons other than data issues making it highly unplayable.)
Blizzard island Is not only a very accurate simulation of what every Activision Blizzard employee has to deal with, but it also makes me imagine the designers at a conference meeting discussing how to make an unreasonably punishing experience, and one random person suggesting “okay, good. That’s horrible, but can we just give them some great music to make it slightly more tolerable”
I love how it's a mix of dungeon songs from the first set of Mystery Dungeon games.

My favorite dungeon track. When I'm choosing missions, sometimes I'll choose the Blizzard Island ones just to jam out to this song.
When I first played through this dungeon, I had absolutely no knowledge of Red/Blue Rescue Team. I didn't recognize a single song out of this medley.
