Lol bro it’s painful how ignorant most of the world is about the Spanish colonizers and our indigenous peoples of Mexico, Central America and South America. I had to educate my British girlfriend on this too
Well not everyone is going to know that a primarily language is a colonized language. She's Italian, how the fuck is she to really know so and so culture and the idea that so many of our Indigenous cultures were indeed robbed, destroyed, and many lost in time? More than likely she and a lot of people around the world weren't taught about all this in great detail. And if so, then by all means, we do need to educate them, but to not put down anyone who doesn't understand the culture or the facts they didn't grew up with. Speaking of talking the same language, you do know that through out the various years, there were other cultures and different languages from other Indigenous cultures before Maya became what they were once and how powerful too. Where do I begin with how much I love this scene? Talokan is designed so beautifully to represent such a deep culture and bring it to light in a way never seen before. The music that accompanies this scene is so amazing. It literally transports you to that place and gives you that floating feeling. I also feel like the design of Talokan was well done in terms of being underwater. Notice how the city is on all four sides of the cavern. This is not uncommon in some marine life that build and develop habitats on multiple sides of a cavern to further protect from predators. In my opinion, MARVEL did Talokan/Atlantis better than DC did. This city felt more natural for something you would find underwater; mostly dark with slight natural bioluminescence (minus the science of vibranium). Wakanda Forever had a tough job and they delivered on so many levels. I can’t wait to see more of Talokan and Namor and the Talokan’il.
It's not really fair to judge DC's Atlantis for being unrealistic. DC doesn't do realism, and that's what's cool about it. What's cool about Marvel is that they do realism. Both can coexist.

As amazingly beautiful as this is, it does raise questions about the legitimacy of Namor's concerns regarding the surface world discovering them. Submarines would be too big to get there and soldiers in diving suits would be easily dealt with if the suits were breached or the oxygen supply was cut off.

If avatar will had this soundtrack will have won some oscars
just to watch this scene for the first time in cinema again would be amazing
Best scene in the mcu and idk why…so beautiful
the best shot i ever seen in my life
One of my fav song from MCU
Beautiful scene
This view and song as 1 is an asset in my life post Avengers Golden Era of Hall of fame!! 😢all hailed!!! Marvel stands for heavenly scene and song like this! ❤
I feel like I’m underwater with no need of a submarine.
Miss U king Chad😭
As amazingly beautiful as this is, it does raise questions about the legitimacy of Namor's concerns regarding the surface world discovering them. Nobody could reach them, let alone invade them, considering how deep beneath the surface they are. Submarines would be too big to get there and soldiers in diving suits would be easily dealt with if the suits were breached or the oxygen supply was cut off.
To be fair, his fears were confirmed the moment Nakia came there uninvited and his people were killed. It just showed how real and possible it was
@@jerrickriddick6436 Which she wouldn't have done if his people hadn't essentially kidnapped the princess of Wakanda, after attacking her group when they were doing exactly as he asked in retrieving the scientist.
@Sam Alvey
The princess requested the talokanils to take her.
It wasn't a kidnap.
@@cringekiller348 But they took her without letting her inform Okoye or her mother that she was volunteering, which would lead them to believe she was kidnapped.
@@jerrickriddick6436 Still though the princess was saved from the upper place where the scientist was waiting. They still didn't go down all the way to the capitol city so it still be very hard to invade or find them.
Namor reminds me of my husband.. He's mesoamerican ( god did i spell that right?) Descent.
He's so beautiful... Nam's has that same quality. So beautiful, so noble. loved this.
That scene was amazing.
That was beautiful music
2:52.......That eye blink 😂😂😂😂
This was a beautiful movie I love the song that is playing now ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This hands down is one of the most stimulating, emotional, passionate, and culminating movie scene. Very fascinating but leaves you with such suspenseful thoughts about the world of Talokan😲🤯🤩
So happy they are representing us Hispanics
Its representing Indigenous people not Hispanics big difference
Unless you just mean the actors then ok
No es representación hispana, sino indígena, son pueblos originarios de Mesoamérica, en este caso Maya.
I am Afro Latino and Mayan descent. I feel so happy I don't feel like an outcast. It hurts that a movie makes me feel I can be accepted due both of my cultures. I wish black and brown can just accept each other
How Namor acts with his people is just beautiful 🥺he really is a king
this movie was way too good. i enjoyed every moment
What broke me about the movie was , really missed chad b , but having her carry that torch , gave me goosebumps, knowing that he’s gone and she took it , and namor was so amazing , made me completely go for two over the first one ,
But always chad will be missed
Watching this scene when the movie first came out was like a breath of fresh air I was in awe.
