So I'm really not the only one that came here, to remember how this man inspired us to be a worthy King in our own empire. Imagine this, he pulled off the king T'Challa role flawlessly, he's been visiting cancer patient one hospital after another to lift their spirit while he is fighting for his own. Reminding us that life can never go as you pleased but what makes it matter is how you respond to it. Rest in power King Chadwick Boseman; I've been listening to one song after another that made Black Panther; Thanks for all the inspiration!
I will never forget being in the movie theater at the end of black panther. It was almost a surreal experience. The absolutely perfect movie and then an absolutely perfect song. I will never forget the car ride home, all I could think about was what an amazing experience seeing black panther in theaters. I went to bed with this song playing in my brain and it stay their for a week or so. It was absolutely extraordinary.
Meh, I wasn't sure about the logic behind the movie (the storyline didnt make sense at some points) but it was an ok movie. And you're right, the songs in the movie are very very good.
The reason Kendrick is successful is cause his music is authentic. He built a loyal fanbase on consistency, and not being swayed into sounding like every artist. I pray one day my music can touch masses like Kendrick. But for now I'm just happy being a listener rs
I feel like despite the fact this is one of, if not Kendrick’s most played and famous songs, it still never feels overplayed. The emotion that SZA evokes in the chorus is simply other worldly. Incredible track from 2 incredible artists

the assumption that she put the culture and emotion in the song is partly right. Culture? No, those were the film makers. Emotions? Partly, but the instrumental under her does so too

King T'Challa can never die. Nor can Shuri, the Queen ot any character or Wakanda or Wakanda itself. The Black Panther movie opened up a POWERFUL portal to the Ancestral Realms of the black race worldwide. And it can never be closed again. Look how much the world changed after this movie was released, and how much it keeps on changing. Look at the GIGANTIC Sisters/Lamar walks up to at the end of the video. So many messages and energiesof awakening associated with this movie. No, King T'Challa did not die, he was awakened in ever black boy and girl and every black man and woman in the world. Shuri was awakened in us too. Wakanda is alive in us now too. The world is not done changing either. Welcome to the Magnetic Pole Shift. Wakanda forever.

*"Can't forget someone who gave us so much to remember"*
It is hard knowing, that he was battling in his health in silence. He was not alone though. He was surrounded by the love of his wife and family. Let's get comfort knowing that he is resting now in peace. Chadwick Boseman has given us a true example of how to be a quiet soul and humble soldier in strength 💖💫💖💫💖💫💖
This song allows me to feel comfortable and Confident with being black.

Wakanda Forever!!!
WAKANDA FOREVER!
Wakanda Forever!
WAKANDA FOREVER
So I'm really not the only one that came here, to remember how this man inspired us to be a worthy King in our own empire. Imagine this, he pulled off the king T'Challa role flawlessly, he's been visiting cancer patient one hospital after another to lift their spirit while he is fighting for his own. Reminding us that life can never go as you pleased but what makes it matter is how you respond to it. Rest in power King Chadwick Boseman; I've been listening to one song after another that made Black Panther; Thanks for all the inspiration!
Agreed I can’t imagine anyone else as king T’challa but Chadwick he made the perfect black panther Rest In Peace your highness
Me too. ❤️
And you're right, the songs in the movie are very very good.
true
@@arsenread9395 I don't mean to be rude but what didn't make sense in the storyline?

The reason Kendrick is successful is cause his music is authentic. He built a loyal fanbase on consistency, and not being swayed into sounding like every artist. I pray one day my music can touch masses like Kendrick. But for now I'm just happy being a listener rs
I feel like despite the fact this is one of, if not Kendrick’s most played and famous songs, it still never feels overplayed. The emotion that SZA evokes in the chorus is simply other worldly. Incredible track from 2 incredible artists

Ive never heard this, but it feels just.
Eric Bacheller it’s a quote from CA Civil War.
Sza is what puts the song together, she puts culture and emotions into the song and it rlly shows
Kendrick wrote the chorus for Sza though
Kendrick is a beast, all his songs are gr8 ,there might be songs u don't like at first but after hearing them more u start to like it
the assumption that she put the culture and emotion in the song is partly right. Culture? No, those were the film makers. Emotions? Partly, but the instrumental under her does so too

King T'challa has died
Now I know he is Chadwick Boseman, the actor who brought a quiet dignity and slow-burning intensity to the Jackie Robinson story. And the drive and will to survive to the James Brown story that both humanized and showed the depth and deprivation of James Brown the man, the human being.
I've have been trying to piece together WHY Chadwick Boseman's death, at such a young age, has gutted me so. I mean I did not know him, personally, but I knew him. He embodied the dream.
He took an adult kid who loves superheroes to a world where people who look like me had never been stuffed in the hull of slave ships laying head to feet in their own filth, filled with terror. A world where we had never been bridled like beast to work in the hot sun. A world where our children had never been taken from us like puppies never to know the name, the face, or smell of their parents, like my great, great grandfather.
He took us to a place where our lives had always mattered and our narrative was not a forgotten aside but the center of the story. When the lights in the theater went dark and we saw Wakanda we saw a world we could only dream about. Not because of its futuristic look or it's amazing vibranium but because it was a world in which our intellect, our beauty our flourishing was still intact. Where we had never known the fear of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The humiliation of being forced off the street and sent in the back door. A world where we were the good guys and the bad guys, a world where we were free and human and that world was fucking fantasy.
And so that's why Chadwick Boseman's death has gutted me so. And I am gutted because his young beautiful, smart black life has ended too soon. I feel for his family and friends and for all of us. I am also angered that the filthy mouth of hate continues to spew in this world while Chadwick's light is transformed into the plane of the ancestors. And I pray that it is true that, "all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose."
WAKANDA FOREVER AND EVER
Thank you so much for this comment. So eloquently put as to why his death is so incredibly devastating. Condolences to his family and everyone struggling with this at the moment. We have lost a truly beautiful soul.
Well written, thank you 💔❤️
All of this!!!! Everything you said. 😢
