I had to use the desktop version on mobile while subscribing since I wasn't able to input my email
As long as you’re in the IT field you are forever learning or left behind- meaning laid off and no income.
Thanks man!
I’m 30 and just tired of working as a door man. I’ve been reading and now just don’t know where to start or look into using excel without owning it. I feel like a failure already and haven’t even begun. Been trying to find a roadmap or guide. But once it clicks I know I’m going to be on a roll with it. I’m really interested in it. Just lost in it all.
You can do it! If you want to start with excel rather than proper programming, try google sheets. That's free and does most of the same stuff. as for a roadmap i have one on my site www.datanash.co.uk/
@@datanash8200 i set up vs code and just been using Kaggle and chat gpt . Basically wrote a prompt making it a collegiate data science teacher . And creating examples ext. it’s helped . But I just feel like I need more people around me in the field . I’m a weird creature of influence 😂😂😂 sometimes it’s not good .
Love the principles, as a Neurobiologist aiming a transition into Data Science I am well trained into those painful principles. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.
I was curious to know, which library became unsupported? and which library did you switch to, to take its place?
Hey Nash, I hope you're doing well.
I am new to this field, currently in the learning process, your videos have helped me so much I can't explain.
Keep making such video. Take care ❤
Love to hear that! You've got it :)
I just got accepted to start a Msc in Data Science. i have been a BI Analyst for 5 years, and basically i have been studying by myself. This is something anybody can do. Love ur channel !
Number one problem of the IT world: DRAMA. That applies to all fields in or related to IT.
Hey Nash! really love your videos, been watching a few of them multiple times.
i have a request for a future video, but it might be a mouthful.
Im going the self taught route and as you said urself, when you came to uni, all your self taught work felt worthless.
What Programs/Courses/RUclips series would you recommend with a high enough standard would you recommend to acctually learn it. or would you keep to books like No Starch press and so on?
eDX IBM professional certificate is pretty good. However, you should be aware that at least a masters in either Data Science or Social Data Science is the only way to make it through in Europe. Unlike the USA, here they only relly mostly on official academia. Best route would be getting a masters and then also the IBM certificate for instance. Or the Harvard 1 that is available also in eDX. There is a discount this month on courses in eDX, so get the most of it if you can!
Great suggestion! I do need to dig into this deeper to give you more value so it's definitely added to the list ! Coming soon
@datanash please to get back to us on this information. Thank you so much
Informative. Thanks ❤
You're welcome 😊
Is machine learning is also same as data science in the sense of continuous learning?
new sub to the newsletter , sophomore
Hope you enjoy it, new post coming tomorrow!
One thing my software engineering degree and internship has taught me is keep learning new skill or youare absolute in few years. No wonder people prefer CS or Engineering degree for data jobs.
Will I be able to Transition from Data Analyst to a Data Scientist role?
My very first DS project resulted in abject failure ... and, for some reason, my manager still wants to ship it to production! It almost feels like he wants to advertise my failure 🤣
🤣🤣 Glad to know it's not just me. The amount of times I have submitted some "proof of concept" code and my manager is like 'Great, let's get this into production'
You are the coolest Data scientist in this RUclips world 🫶🏻 big fan nash !
Wanted to suggest you that, you should start a club of aspiring DS ppls 🙌🏻 will enjoy and make amezing team and stuffs .
Thank you Moulik!! Do you mean like a discord??
Cool Nash, interesting video. I don't know much about Data Science but how do you create your models? Do you get your Data from a Relational Database? Is the data provided to you from a team member like a Data Engineer or Developer? How do you create your models for the organization which you work for?
Essentially all depends on context. Data either from an API, relational database and occasionally local files. I'm at a small company so I'm my own data engineer. And models made in python
@@datanash8200 hmm? Interesting? I never thought of it from that point of view?
Thanks for letting me know. It changed my perspective.
Hi Nash, I have started to learn python, sql and i am slowly progressing(finished basics). Where can i contact you in order to clarify some general questions that I have regarding DS/DA ?
Hey! I check my comments so I'll reply here :)
@@datanash8200 cool! I have been going through some job portals lately (I checked LinkedIn and the location was India)and I have observed that DS roles are for experienced people. How can someone who has no data background apply for this role if this is the case?
Also, in case there is any way we can apply outside the country with no background in data if we make a good portfolio?
PS- I am new to applying for a job on my own. I just know the general site to go for it. If you can suggest something regarding this.
@prasadnishtha I see, I don't have experience in India specifically so I can only share what works here. If you are at the start if you specify either junior data scientist or data science intern in your job search it will help greatly. Failing that you can do a "virtual internship" to initially get some experience so you can put it on your CV. But definitely agree that projects are the best way to go. And regarding applying outside the country unfortunately i do not have knowledge in that area
Can socially anxious people can work in this domain?
I just wanted to start, but this video demotivated me a bit😅😅
thank you
I know it’s an off topic comment but love the JID and Metro poster in the background. Good content as well!
Thank you man, got to see jid 2 weeks ago at a concert! It was 🔥
Hello Nash! I'm glad I came across your channel. I'm new to this tech track, could you help me with a road map or something to guide me from newbie to intermediate/advanced level. Thanks!
Hey man, put your email in on datanash.co.uk and you'll get a road map absolutely freee
Hey Nash.. Watching your videos have really given hope that i can do this, it's my goal this coming month to learn a new skill and i chose Data science, i have no background in tech and honestly my maths is really bad but i believe i can learn. If you don't mind, can you please be my mentor? 🙏 in this new journey i have embarked on? I promise to be on my best behaviour and not stress you out
Thank you so much! I have no doubts you can do this. Unfortunately I don't have the bandwidth to be a 1:1 mentor at the moment, but whenever you have questions if you message me on instagram, I will try to reply asap
Please can you give me the road map to become a data science I'm a beginner and completely new to tech.

Hey mate, I'm still trying to figure out why it only lets you sign up on desktop, but i am having no luck so far
Good day,I like to be a data scientist and I will also like you to help me on how to start to the pick. Pls waiting for your quick respond.thanks
Hey Nash, I want to take Data science but am worried about AI replacing it, now that CHATGPT code interpreter came in
Most experts in the field seem to agree data science will not be going anywhere any time soon. Also if DS is threatened by GPT is there a field that is not?
I don't want to be a data scientist, but i have just discovered excel as an esport 😊
Also I have electronic and electrical background please help.
Bro…one question…what’s the best laptop/ desktop for a begginer is it Macbook is it windows….and if windows whats the minimum requirements for being a data scientist….sorry kind of new inexperienced person here 😅…..but it’ll help a lot
Hi mate, i would say any laptop with a decent gpu and cpu will be fine to be honest and the OS does not matter. If youre budget conscious don't rush to buy an expensive laptop because sites like google collab allow you to run your code on powerful virtual machines for free
@@datanash8200 …..thanks a ton bro….😇…
Hey Data Nash, I really enjoyed the video and I tapped the link to join the newsletter but it’s asking for a password
Hi mate, just redesigning the website. It will be back up in a couple of days. You can directly joine the newsletter here in the meantime substack.com/@datanash
Thanks a lot
Nash what degree do you recommend to obtain from uni ?
I'll make a full video on this for you!
Hey Nash I got a data science job ❤️
No waaaay!!! Congratulations man!! When do you start??
@@datanash8200 I started on Monday. A remote job, I only go to the office whenever I want
That's amazing, so happy for you!
@@datanash8200 thank you soo much
You seem so chill bro, good video
37k/annual GBP is a good salary in UK ? :) Looks ridiculous
It's above average, but nothing amazing. For a data scientist with more than 1-2 year exp it would be low
Are you the guy of football made simple?
yeah , i thought so too
Wtf is 20k a yr. Is that even allowed. 😮
Crazy times as an intern, but its good salaries increase quickly in DS
Nash
What you really sayin? Even with a PhD n all experience, you WILL still have those numbers you displayed in LINKEDIN. Its machievalic to do such.
A content made to DISCOURAGE is AIMED TO BE UNCONSUMABLE
AI taken over. I gave up on data science
Curious to what you changed to?
😪 Promo`SM
Wtf are you talking about
Can i get your Whatsapp contact, please i need mentorship to become a data scientist?
Im about to start my internship in 2weeks and seriously i want to quit 🥹🥹 my coding skills are not that great and i feel like i will be useless 🥺 ive already learned so much in the past 8months and im burned out completely and now having to start an internship will be close to impossible for me
Don't stress. If you got the internship there was probably more than 100 people who applied for the job and they chose you. They did that for a reason. You have what it takes
