Data Scientist roles definitely have a higher barrier to entry. My outlook is to just to find a way to break into data and then get on the trajectory to quickly move up into a data scientist position. In this market, I think that speed is important and the data analyst role is prime for breaking into the industry.
Mo has a Master Degree from Oxford, he definitely has a higher intellect level than the average. He can do what a data engineer can do but he actually just enjoys being an analyst. What I like about him is, he's honesty. He never says its not possible but he manages realistic expectations especially in a time people are just jumping in this data bandwagon thinking its all quick and easy, mastery takes time and work...I respect that
I don't agree with Mo cause anyone can learn anything with effort and if they wanted to. Your brain isn't just born with just being more logical than creative. You just don't exercise that part of the brain that has creativity, and then you reinforce that lack of exercise by saying you will never be able to do it. Like a Self-fulfilling prophecy. Wise people have a growth mindset that is the belief anyone can change and learn. They might not be as good as another in which it came easier to that person, but you can do it and you'll bring a more diverse skillset that another lacks.
I've been following your channel a while now and I can say you're doing great. I'm switching from finance to Ms data science and I'll wanna talk to you
this type of content will make the channel grow even faster, I appreciate your videos highly and it’s been quite informative and useful! Keep it up Nash👊🏽💯
Tbh I was unsure what data analysts do but from this video I realised if I’m gonna go try something I really am interested in (and coming from someone who has no data science/computer science background) I’m going to go FULLY DEEP into it and delve right into it since I also feel like mo said there’s more progression with DS but also I feel like the skills you learn are so transferable? Like you can open up so many job opportunities if you gain the skills needed
I really appreciate the time you both put in to make this available to educate and not just that give sense of direction on the path to take based on our individual capabilities... Just heading to Data Science... Would like to get some extra tips where and how to begin my journey.
let me be the first to comment😅😅Still studying data science and tbh it is really challenges..completing sql study this week with my final test tomorrow
Hey Nash , really nice video! I was wondering if I could help you enhance Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your video to reach to a wider audience .
If you love finding insights, you can become a data analyst if you learn to like presenting. If you love finding insights, you can become a data Scientist if you learn to like Python. If you're okay with dropping insights, in order to avoid Python/presenting become a Data Engineer
Hey Nash, can you tell me the hardware requirements for the laptop to smoothly learn and implement Machine learning and Deep learning and also MacBook and windows laptop comparison for ML/DL
Will you be working on your local computer a lot? if so go with something with a good graphics card on windows or M1 and up for mac. But if you are using cloud resources like google collab any laptop will do
@@datanash8200 okay nash thanks I'll upgrade to MacBook soon with m2 i think, currently I am working on windows with 1650 grafic and 16 gb ram. And feel little slow while working with large datasets and during epocs and all
I found your channel yesterday during a 4 am downward spiral after finding out I got my first job as an analyst. Imposter syndrome was hitting hard. Your videos calmed me down so much 😭🫶🏻
It was great meeting you in person Nash! I hope we can collaborate some more in the future 🎉
Really enjoyed it!

Very true, I would say the key is just do whatever it takes to get that very first job

Definitely agree, I would say time + directed effort + application means anyone can learn anything
This conversation between you two was very insightful and gave me more clarity going forward as a CSC student. Thanks heaps for this. Subscribed🙌
Glad to help!!

I appreciate that!
Lovely conversation, felt like I was on a lunch-break with colleagues
Nash thank you so much. This kind of content helps me a lot! Keep it going man!! Great video.
Thank you!
u always make a good content!
i'm really appreciative for that

Exactly! If you're going to be a DS/DA its worth it to put the extra bit of effort to be a great one. Exponential benefits

Hi emma, glad to help. This video should be a good start ruclips.net/video/6DxBaphvap4/видео.html&lc=UgyM_r_wYNFLmb95hrx4AaABAg&ab_channel=DataNash
Very insightful, thanks!
very insightful video, interesting prospectives
Glad you think so!

Wow how areyou feeling for your test? Best of luck!
Thank you for this.
My pleasure!
Great video. Could you make similar one with a data engineer?
definitely!
Yes please!!@@datanash8200
You can be a data scientist if you can do matrix multiplications in your head?!

I am really scared of presenting but I love finding insights into data, do not really like Python, any advice?

How much does each earn? My guess: £45k DA £55k DS non-London

Shots fired at 4:40 math 😂
yoooooooooooooo, i skiped a lot of videos ,,,,,my bad bro...keep doing
He's back! thank you so much!
Is it true that to become a valuable data scientist, you need an IQ of 130
Nope

What experience/ schooling did you need to land the role? I’m currently an industrial/process engineer and want to grow and do different things
So happy it helped you! Keep me updated on how the job goes :)
