I would like to know what Christmas special this was, and if I could find this out on DVD. The clips of this show I watched, Twelve Days of Christmas, White Christmas and Winter Wonderland were really good. I watched them mainly because of David Cassidy.
what upsets me the MOST? they dont do ANY variety shows anymore. not like they use to. they show rudolph on december 1st. people don't get together and do these anymore. i think even hee haw and glen campbell variety show. they were just so wonderful. but you can't bring back the past :( i also miss the TALK SHOWS phil donahue, rikki lake. now they have THE TALK. i wont watch them. but then again. there is no tv anymore. everyone watches videos on youtube and netflix. why pay a fortune for cable when you can get it all for low cost or free? oh well. the world has changed so much since lets say 1988.

THEN PUT IT DOWN, TO RIDE A STORE QUARTER, HORSE OR ELEPHANT AND FORGOT ET WHEN WE LEFT THE STORE.SHE SAID I FORGOT ET! WE CAME BACK,THE NEXT DAY. BUT IT WAS GONE! SO I TOLD HER HE PROBABLY CALLED HOME AND THEY TOOK HIM HOME! SO HE'S OK. LOL! SHE SAID, OK. :-) SHE HAD THREE LARGE BOXES WITH LOTS OF STUFFED TOYS! LOL! THE DINOSAUR WAS BARNEY! VERY HAPPY KID!
Save him from what? He had early onset dementia. The rest he did to himself with all the years of drinking ( & drugs) he did. When a person is an addict, you can't save them. They have to be ready to save themselves. Apparently he was clean & sober when he died, but the damage was done. Now he's gone.
Addiction is a phenomenon I don't quite understand; it makes no sense to me. I've lost family members to that dark abyss and broken relationships too. You drink or drug or both to feel good for a brief moment and from that brief moment chaos arises in one's life and the life of loved ones which has negative ramifications well beyond any enjoyment it may provide initially and your left feeling physically bad, you alienate your loved ones, ruin your health and bring yourself mostly heartache? There can only be one answer because any well developed, intelligent person can see the destructive path you set yourself up o not to mention endangering lives of others. Other than it being a disease of the brain; of certain brain paths, wiring etc., I just don't grasp the overwhelming amount of people that get caught up in this web. I am going to venture to guess David had self loathing and that came from his Dad's distance and coldness toward him at a tender age and no matter what he did or achieved, he never felt it was good enough. So whatever genetic predisposition he may have had along with emotional scarring, there is the recipe for making the choices he did. Does that make any sense or did I just ramble for oh say, 10 mins. . . . ?

"Once an addict always an addict". An addict is never cured always in recovery. Some start the process slowly, like trying to fit in with their peers. Some do the drugs or drinking to feel good, maybe things are bad at home. But when the drugs take hold, they've got you. And going , just without them causes physical symptoms, sometimes even death. And after years of doing them, you've done damage to your kidneys, liver, lungs, That person can not be helped until he is ready, no matter who says what to him. There can be tears, interventions, even deaths, but if that person hasn't reached his own personal rock bottom, you are just blowing air. All you've done is to tell him you care and you'll help when he's ready. Unfortunately, he may die before that time arrives. David had a lot and wasted it. None of us know how his younger years were and what may have happened between David & Jack. But no ones needs to do drugs (I'm including booze in this as it is a drug) to help you with your problems. See a therapist, find a true friend that will listen and help. My best help was keeping a journal. It's the one place you have to be totally honest with yourself and you can watch the change you make as you go along. Wish David had tried it. Well, I hope David is at rest now. RIP

UN-LESS GOT BARELY CONCIOUS AS WAS BURNING TO DEATH WHOLEHEARTEDLY ASKED THE LRD FOR HIS FORGIVENESS FOR ALLLL THINGS HE ID TO HIS FIRST UN-FLRUNATE WIFE EVELYN WARD WHO DESERVED WAAAYYYYY BETTER THN HE ÄN JS LITTLE CHILD HAVING AN AFFAIR THN MARRIES YEARS BEFORE DAVID WAS TOLD BY CLASSMATES THAT HIS PARENTS ARE DIVOREC OF WHAT THAT MANT LITLE SWEET ENDURING DARLING CILD DAVID NEVER HEARD THAT WORD BEFORE BUT THE WAY IT WAS SAD HE KNEW IT WAS A BAD THING, SOMETHING THÄT IS NOT GOOD AT LL. FINALLY A VISIT FROM HIS DAD AN DAVID IMMEDIATELY ASKED HMWHAT DIVORCE MEANT AS HIS DADDY TOLD HIM IN THE SAME BREATH TOLD THIS LITTLE CHILD H HAS NEW ẂIFE AND HE WANTS DAVID TO MEET HER. NO OME CAN FOOL TYE LORD, NO GOD SO WHERE JACK IS.... I DO NOT KNOW IF IN 👆 OR IN🔥🔥🔥🔥STILL BURNING NEVER DYING---WOW AS THAT IS WHAT TOOM HIS LIFE BUT IF DOWN THERE HE ILL HAVE LIFE ETERNALLY AS NO ONE DIES IN THOSE FLAMES. BUT SDAVID'S SPIRIT THELORD HAD IT BROUGHT HOME👆
"Once an addict always an addict". An addict is never cured always in recovery. Some start the process slowly, like trying to fit in with their peers. Some do the drugs or drinking to feel good, maybe things are bad at home. But when the drugs take hold, they've got you. And going , just without them causes physical symptoms, sometimes even death. And after years of doing them, you've done damage to your kidneys, liver, lungs, That person can not be helped until he is ready, no matter who says what to him. There can be tears, interventions, even deaths, but if that person hasn't reached his own personal rock bottom, you are just blowing air. All you've done is to tell him you care and you'll help when he's ready. Unfortunately, he may die before that time arrives. David had a lot and wasted it. None of us know how his younger years were and what may have happened between David & Jack. But no ones needs to do drugs (I'm including booze in this as it is a drug) to help you with your problems. See a therapist, find a true friend that will listen and help. My best help was keeping a journal. It's the one place you have to be totally honest with yourself and you can watch the change you make as you go along. Wish David had tried it. Well, I hope David is at rest now. RIP
