There is not, nor has there ever been, another pop idol who can hold a candle to my generation's David Cassidy. I thank the heavens above that I grew up with all of that awesome music.
I also had the opportunity to speak to David in 1998 ! It was on live TV on a local TV show called "Northwest Afternoon" ! I wrote down and question about how he felt about the sale of his cd "Old Trick New Dog" and how well he thinks it might do ! I turned all red but I imagined to talk to him ! He was so nice and so encouraging too ! I will get to see him in concert again next month ! I saw him concert the first time in 2006 ! I wanted to see him in 70's but nobody wanted to go!

Oh, David...............you never disappoint. I've always loved that slightly lopsided smile he occasionally flashes when he is singing. Sexy and innocent at the same time.
Every now and then when a baby is being formed, all of the goodness and magic come together at once and form a truly good-looking, beautiful person. They are rare, and David Cassidy was one of them. Rest in heaven, David.
He recorded everything without any synthesizers, he had a pure voice and worked with the most amazing musicians live . . . the Wrecking Crew . . . all fantastic musicans . . he was a special creation, out of all the people that are born. he was adored worldwide 24/7 for 5 straight years; people always around him . . . he had the world at his fingertips . . for that I am so glad it was him that had the experience.
Perfection. To think he went on to sing these songs for 40 years and we never got tired of them proves the staying power of the great David Cassidy and of these timeless songs. I still get all warm inside seeing these old clips. He was so amazingly handsome and sensuous! We miss you so much David!

It feels that way to me too. This coming November 21st will be the third anniversary of the day the world lost David Cassidy, and it still seems unreal. The world is a very sad place without him. It just seems like he should still be here. I miss him so much!
Young man has alot of talent if he would pull it together. Alcohol just never worked in his life. I know he wanted to be a hard rocker, but this type music fit him really well and he was really good at it.
he had $8 million not $500 million...some of his managers stole a lot of it, then there were poor investments and lots of partying when he and kay lenz married shortly after both lost their fathers...
I would like someone to explain to me how he sounds very similar to those early records where the producers were using the vocal pitch shift to make is voice sound higher pitched. In a lot of his live performances his voice sounds deeper. but not here. He sounds almost identical to those early records.

David has incredible range and could go up high or low but those first two albums you can tell his voice was artificially altered
