egbert (my all time favorite) was my first ever villager! My first animal crossing game was New Leaf and he was a villager i immediately connected with,,, all that to say i’m happy egbert is getting love
For it to be like the old games, add more lore and backstories to our reoccurring characters, and have a city/ something like it to visit, and have less control over the environment.
I want it to be a lot like new horizons but with added features like more furniture that you can actually interact with, more character lines, not gender locked personality types, and maybe some more furniture... more animal species would also be good. I love the idea of terraforming, which seems to be kinda unpopular. Bringing back the different fruits would be cool too. More things will come to mind, I'm sure.
I think that the next game should be in an apartment complex where you get appointed as the groundskeeper/maintenance person by Tom (or one of the twins, you never know), with spaces on the ground floor for business to move and/or expand into.
I'd love for more of the old fruit varieties to come back, as well as generally less gendered stuff. New Horizons was a MASSIVE step forward in that regard from past games but there's still a ways to go.
Ability to do a split-screen co-op. Plus some improved quality of life things, like being able to use nook mile tickets consecutively when hunting. More interactions with villagers, more fruits, more airport colors (if included in the next game, u never know), plus more lore in the game would be super nice. Also it would be nice for another location to be included in the game like a city location where you can have an apartment, see where Labelle works, meet certain villagers, etc.
9:56 My favorite animal crossing characters are Kabuki and Tia. I’ve only played Pocket Camp but Tia was my buddy from the start. After I stopped playing because the micro transactions got super bad, when I found out Kabuki was finally in the game, I immediately went back to find him. I don’t think I could choose a favorite out of the two haha.
