Garou definitely wanted to be the hero but gave up when he was a kid, as he felt sympathy towards the villains in the shows he watched, due to being bullied. And when he responded to the abuse, he wasn't met with comfort and understanding, or even someone that would listen to his side. That's hard one they both had quite alot of corruption and issues. But I'd say OPM as they seem to be much more centralised and make better use of their heroes. Sure their mostly ran and provide assistance to the rich elite. But the S-Class hero system seems like a really good system for not letting people with good quirks or potential falling to way side because they didn't have good optics or some other reason.
That fucking scene of garou deflecting all those damn BULLETS just to PROTECT Lil chin in the shack was fucking amazing. And then he got right the fuck back up and was keeping up with silverfang and his big brother. Garou was a fucking beast.
The reason i disagree with stain is because being a hero is an actual job, not a vigilante. It like saying fire fighters or doctors shouldn't be paid for saving lives. Plus if a hero is doing it just for the money they are more than likely going to work extra hard for that pay check.
I’m mean he obviously doesn’t have a problem with Allmight and he for sure got paid big as the top hero. I think it’s more then just Heroes getting paid that he doesn’t like about hero society.
Yep that’s what fanatism does, his ideals aren’t that unrealistic, is similar to people being imprisoned or executed for not embodying the ideals of a knight or samurai while on duty. Stain essentially targets the heroic clout chasers, cause he believes they pollute the seriousness of the title
You just reminded me why i side with garou more. Because in one punch man its only a small percentage of people with abilities or mutations or skills capable of fightning a crisis. In my hero basically the entire planet except for a certain few have powers and it would be a job to the common hero.
Garou and Sasuke basically sought the same kind of peace: one that unites against a common evil. Only that Sasuke was willing to kill from the start to become that symbol of fear, while Garou only began entertaining the idea when he became literally POISONOUS to be around .
Ngl when i see this i was like: justified ? One of them hunt because he wants to impose his philosophy onto other and kill them if they're not ok with it. The other one is a mislead prodigy with the most childish dream possible to the point of beating up people just so he can prove he's strong so he can be called a monster. Garou is more remediable but at no moment did i see their actions as justifiable.
I think garou being an actual man child isn't brought up at all, his mentality is ridiculous not going to lie, he's written to be an idiot who was mislead but people really be riding him to much.
@@Isotolerant well directly but what about the innocent people who die because the heroes who would have send in the hospital. Garou should have at least be confronted with this possiblity that he actually has caused the deaths of innocent people. Imagine if a target police officers knowing any second a crime could be happening, I knock them out and a week later as there's less police officers dozens of civilians die because of what I did, should I be blamed for that. That's why stain and garou don't work on, garou main motivation about wanting to be the biggest threat makes no sense to the actions he had done. Garou can entire character could be changed with as a kid he watched a cartoon where the villain wins and kills millions of people, if a antagonist ideology can be changed by watching a cartoon/tv show, his ideology wasn't good to begin with.
Garou is a bully and a victim he’s different than stain or Lelouch. He’s basically sees himself as a victim yet he bullies others and want to opress the world. He’s a victim of bullying than became a bully. But ultimately he’s good guy. If he wasn’t saitama would’ve killed him. He’s not a monster either, saitama is the only character that saw him as a human rather than what he appeared to be.
I'd say stain, Garou is beating up heroes in a world already in an apocalypse. He truly would accomplish more fighting the monsters. Stain saw that people were being heroes for the paycheck so when something actually dangerous comes along they nope out. Like a police officer who's fine taking the paycheck until an actual axe murderer is out in the neighborhood.
Garou really wanted to be a hero, but he alwys thought of himself as a villain because he felt symlathy for the monsters the villains always beat up and killed. If anything, he wanted to be a bero for everyone, citizen, monster, and hero alike.
The problem with Stain is that to him, someone like Uravity's original reasoning for becoming a hero would have made her a fake in his eyes, when she just wanted to provide for her loving parents for pushing her to follow her own dreams! There is more to being a hero than being selfless & while Ida was misguided in wanting revenge for Stain crippling his brother, his brother was a decent person who Stain crippled! Stain murdered and/or attempted to murder heroes simply because they didn't meet his standards! People forget that heroes are human & Stain is no saint himself as he murders those who don't fit his definition of a Hero! Uravity wanting to give back to her parents, who encouraged & supported her despite their financial situation doesn't make her any less of a hero (its just her wanting to be there for them as they were for her) & that there is more to heroism than Stain's narrow-minded world view! While he may have had a point that some heroes were no better than villains (Endeavor's family situation proves this), he was an extremist whose narrow-minded ideology was taken advantage of by All For One & the League of Villains!
Stain had a noble idea but only caused more chaos and suffering aswell as more villains to come and reeck havok. Garou is someone who wouldn't kill you, exept when Cosmic Garou but let's not count that, and would fight alongside the Heroes or fight to keep them alive if they get into life threatening danger. Stain is corrupt while Garou is more pure in this sense
Garou got bullied as a child for liking monsters. They kids jumped him for it. Even when garou became the ultimate evil he still managed to do the right thing and help saitama stop himself.
Stain basically wanted to end classism while Garou wanted to bring world peace, Garou is taking this one and I haven’t even watched the video yet. Edit: Called it.
I think if we really have to stick by the word "justified" I would probably go with Stain. A lot of his actions are lifted by the his view that Hero society in MHA doesn't really isn't anything more than a shallow celebrity culture that only cares about looking the flashiest and helping the most people to raise your cred. All-Might was the only real one to him because All-Might genuinely seemed like he rescued people because people needed rescuing. This was further supported by the fact that pretty much every member of the League of Villains was the product of society not appreciating, if not outright disdaining others for their quirks, and sometimes completely avoiding helping them because they are too weird or potentially threatening. What good is a hero society if heroism has exceptions. Garou is really interesting because he technically didn't and still might not entirely comprehend his own actions. Saitama at one point even called him out saying that he really wants to be a hero, and simply sees villains as people with motivation, but not enough to believe that they can actually achieve it. The philosophy is much simpler to understand and even back, but given how much he does in the name of this idea, I have a bit of a hard time completely jelling with him. Stain at the very least had a core idea of how he grades his targets, it was jus that his crusade was probably never going to succeed unless a major movement in society as a whole caused it, which the League - his sort-of followers - managed for him.
No stain is not justified. Your basically saying it’s okay to kill people based on an opinion. There’s nothing justifiable about that. On top of that none of the heroes he killed or tried to kill was shown to be the type of heroes that he claimed to dislike. And none of the heroes had exceptions and we don’t see any of these exceptions you’re claiming
@@BabyGirlTiny I am a tad confused by your reply. The question asked was which between the two villains had the "more justified motive." My opinion was that I felt Stain's motivations and reasoning were more supported by the story of MHA than Garou's were by OPM. I did not say, nor intend to imply that I think murdering people was okay in any matter.
I do have to say, both of them are admirable in ideology in some capacity. I feel Stain would have a lot more wiggle room for his ideals if he saw Ochaco or Mt. Lady's plights. Mt. Lady wants to help but lives in near poverty because of her quirk's very specific limitations. Ochaco wants to help people both as a hero and her family. The level of Fake heroics is quite steep for Stain, but the fact he left Ingenium to survive despite crippling him and notices Tomura's source of actual hatred does say he pays attention to enough details to know true intentions from superficial ones. Yes, All Might is a quality standard for Stain, and Deku is the next generation of that standard, but he does I feel find respect to those who deserve it. Iida wanted revenge, Shoto wanted to reject his family ties. Both probably would have died then. But the fact is Stain would definitely look at the two of them now with a lot more respect. His milestone is tough to grasp, but isn't unachievable on an individual basis. Unrealistic and idealistic, yes. Carried out ruthlessly, yes. But the backbone is still decently solid, and he isn't some vigilante. He knows he is a villain and accepts the role. He may be brutal in method but it does seem he doesn't make his victims suffer if he kills them either. The ones he lets live seem in worse shape but that is more because they live through the pain. A dying hero trusted him with delivery of the message to All Might, so it's clear he's not a villain at heart, but a villain in methodology. He does bad things but wants the best for society as a whole, acting with his reputation as a person a necessary sacrifice.
Bro what. Killing people because they’re not good enough? That’s straight up goofy. If a fireman saves my life I don’t care if he’s just in it for the paycheck. Honestly, I’d rather have a thousand selfish firemen than one that’s pure of heart.
And there is the flaw in stain’s ideals. I love fanfics who call stain out on it. Cause yeah. So what if they are doing it for money. They are still saving people. Now if they chose to not bother saving people. Then that’s something else. And they should be punished.
So garou basically did a madara. Where the whole ninja world joined together to beat him, garou wants his world to do the same. I would not be surprised if garou got that idea from naruto after he watched it as a kid
Madara wanted to put everyone in a dream with only winners, a dream designed by the person that is being put in it to give them whatever they want, Garou at first just wanted to fight the heros to prove that he is the strongest and that the heros don't always win but then it started to evolve into protecting the weak from anyone even if they are a hero, Garou understood as a kid that some villians only became evil bc they didn't have a choice or bc of suffering and that's why he became a hero hunter in the first place, that's why he became someone who will protect the weak, that's why he decided to change from villian to protecting the weak
Stain loss all credibility to me when he chose to target Iida's brother; no matter who I ask I've never got a definitive reason as to why he was targeted.
During the Paranormal War Arc, I wish a hero spoke up and said something to the citizens. It was just crazy because the Hero’s protects the citizens on a daily basis. They even help with pointless chores the people need help with. But when the heroes fail one time the citizens are in a disarray. They calling heroes out making heroes quit. What about all the times we protected y’all and did good where is our thanks for that. We fail one time and y’all ready to shone us ???
We don’t see them help with pointless chores. Where does that come from. And the heroes didn’t just fail one time. Japan was destroyed. that’s not a small thing people should just shrug off. I know Hori hates the civilians but why should they have faith in the heroes when they failed this spectacularly?
@@BabyGirlTiny My whole point is the Heroes aren’t perfect. The citizens needs to realize the heroes can’t save them all the time. When a crime is being reported who do they call ? A hero. That’s all the hero’s do protect the innocent and defend people who can’t defend themselves. And it isn’t like Japan has been destroyed on a daily basis. Heroes can lose as well. My whole point is the citizen need to have more empathy. Especially if we dedicate our life to protecting y’all and we happen to fail one time y’all ready to shone us. Do all our good deeds just go down the drain because we lost
I can get part of Stain's ideology, but I don't agree with his idea that anyone who is compensated for their efforts as Heroes also need to go. By that logic Doctors, Firemen, and Police Officers shouldn't be paid either, since they could be doing it solely out of the goodness of their heart.
I’m mean he obviously doesn’t have a problem with Allmight and he for sure got paid big as the top hero. I think it’s more then just Heroes getting paid that he doesn’t like about hero society.
I don’t think it’s about getting paid that bothers him he, more the aspect of heroes that case after glory and fame, similar to OPM heroes that only care about rising through the ranks quickly
Tbh while i understand where Stain is coming from with exceptions of Dabi and Shigaraki the hero system did it's job the large majority of the population was safe and sound.some greedy as*holes or not they did their job and civilians we're safe At times i don't know what the fandom be smoking cause it took a 200+years old being that can steal quirks to make an overcomplicated plan, a super modified human, an entire army of zombies on steroids to "crumble" the hero society. Hell the Meta liberation front would have been crushed by the hero society without AFO and Shigaraki,
Stain's ideals are completely backwards. He thinks it's bad that society is incentivizing bad people (and even neutral people) to do good things. He's basically gatekeeping being a hero.
Garou almost destroys humanity Radiation rain nuff said Stain just weeding out ppl who treat it like a job or just in it for the wrong reason like imagine if all the heroes was like the boys or booster gold
It basically was well shown not just when Iida tried to get his revenge on Stain but when Deku wanted to save Bakugo from the LOV. Deku was the only one who took being a hero seriously while the other just took advantage of their powers. Not saying they're bad people but that being a hero should not be taken lightly.
Definitely slade because he was able to beat robin and the raven who have much more experience then stain not to mention that slade would to be able to beat stain with his martial arts moves or gadgets.
Aight, fair, but I ain't talking immortal Slade, also if stain used his swords his quirk could paralyze him and just kill him, now he could probably win, but he wouldn't know what stain could do
Honestly it could be a tie even, but you gotta keep in mind slade wouldn't know what he's up against, if Slade gets even the slightest drop of blood, stain could win, I do see what u guys mean tho because slade is very skilled
I can't back stain. Dude went after engenium, who is like one of the best people out there much less of just the heroes. Man was what all should strive to be, but stains tinted vision didn't care. At least Garou stuck by his words and went after everyone
I can understand Stain’s reasons. We’ve seen heroes who only care about fame and fortune, there will be people like the past selves of Endeavor and Bakugo who only wanted to be heroes to be at the top of the leaderboard. To the people they used to be it was about winning and nothing else. The heroes who care about fame and fortune are realistically always the first ones to NOPE out of a situation that’s too dangerous for them because they don’t get paid enough for that shit Edit: what I don’t approve however was his approach to the situation. He could’ve “beat” the lesson into them not “kill” the lesson into them. Toga was most likely only inspired by him not by his philosophy but his method of doing things because of her obsession with blood
No we haven’t seen heroes who only care about fame and fortune. We have heroes who want fame and fortune but nothing about only caring about it. For example, king lady is the only hero shown to really be into the game side and she stepped up when she had to. She’s the only hero in that sense. On top of that, endeavor is the second hero behind all might and solved the most cases. So you’re saying that’s bad because again thinks endeavors doing to for the wrong reasons?
@@BabyGirlTiny I did say Endeavor’s “past” self. Mt Lady and Endeavor were capable of change that’s why I said that I don’t approve of the way Stain forced his philosophy. It’s one thing if he gave heroes a slap on the wrist, punch to the face or some random speech but Stain’s purge was too extreme
One thing I didn't like about Stain was that the heroes in that universe weren't even bad people or anything, even though they weren't some paragon of justice like All Might. Even heroes like Mt. Lady still did a lot of heroic things as vain and fame hungry as she was. It's kind of like calling Mr. Beast a bad person for profiting off of charity work even though he's still genuinely helping people in need. I feel like his character would have a stronger point if the heroes in MHA were more like in OPM where they're more cutthroat and ruthless, and care too much about rank to the point where they'd stifle their fellow heroes.
Stains philosophy was unattainable from the start. He wants heroes to be the idealistic icons he thinks they should be, but the problem is that they are HUMAN! Not everyone can be All Might, not everyone can be Superman and thats OK. Sure, not every pro should probably be a Hero and many certainly arent behind the scenes, but his actions damaged the world far more than they could possibly have saved.
Honestly I feel like Garous taking this one because I can agree with his methods and morale for his actions where as Stain's motive is pretty much if he even thinks for a brief moment that you're only in it for the money he is going to drop you and put your 6 ft under
Garou may not have killed any heroes ( in the current timeline at least) but he did permanently injure a couple I distinctly remember him ripping off one dude’s arm in his intro
You also realize the one punch mam world as a whole is less tame than mha was in season 2 so every hero garou takes out indirectly leads to the death of civilians as less heroes are there to fight off the monsters. Like if edler centipede was a demon level monster instead of a dragon and metal bat had a good chance to beat the monster but instead of that he had to fight garou. Imagine if elder centipede killed 100's of children whose fault would that be. Imagine if garou kid friend died from a monster attack because there was 10 less hero out there patrolling that garou put in the hospital, realistically garou caused more deaths any fake hero at that point.
@@nani4249 the metal bat can beat a dragon level the author confirmed that many times The elder centipede is just too strong tho Edit “Also unlike the MHA world the OPM world he this on regular occurrence they have bunkers and stuff like that also a metal knight pulled up before that”

In a realistic setting garou just doesn't work of course this is one punch man where of course the logic of the world is not set and barely any heroes die but just makes you think if no one had plot armor garou would cause the deaths of probably thousands of kids but he doesn't think about the consequences of his actions
The problem with Stain isn't necessarily his philosophy, though there are issues with it, the problem is Stain's dogmatic belief in his own philosophy, that unless you are the purest of the pure from the start, you have no business being a hero and must die. All because Iida wanted to avenge his brother(Rightfully so in all honesty even if it wasn't very heroic), Stain decided Iida couldn't change for the better and tried his damndest to kill Iida. Stain is a good character for what he's supposed to be, don't think I'm dissing him or don't like him, because I do, but Stain is, in every sense of the word, a hypocrite. His belief in the idea of true heroism directly contradicts his desire to "weed out the fakes". With the exception of a scant few, heroes in the MHA world are made, not born. Stain also perpetuates another problem in MHA's world as a whole, in that everyone puts to much faith in All Might, that despite his overwhelming power, they forget he's still just one man who can't be everywhere at once. A problem that really only comes into the public eye when he is forced to retire after his fight with All For One
Stains ideology would make a lot more sense in tbe OPM verse since you have a LOT more scummy heroes running around than the MH world will ever have. If they'd showcased more examples of trashy heroes he'd make more sense since we only really see the best of hero society in MH
I mean Stain was out here calling other heroes hypocrites while putting All Might on a pedestal... even tho All Might still bends to and is part of the system that Stain despises...
Tbf they're both flawed, stain expect everyone to be a hero that do good without expecting either fame nor payment to do so. Well thats just volunteer workers and frankly without any monetary gains there would be a drop in the number of heroes. Garou wanted to unite everyone under the banner of fear, making them all band together and fight the true evil he wants to be. He went the deep end though, he also realized this when he saw tareo's corpse
OK overall I I agree with the video, especially with Garou having somewhat better motives than stain but I never really liked how the my hero academia fan base reacted to the Heroes quitting their job especially after a bunch of heroes saw Shigaraki decay a entire city by touching the ground in this one video, I saw on RUclips a good chunk of the comment section was calling the hero, who is here and see quit his job, a fake hero, completely ignoring the fact that he has the shell shock and traumatize look on his face so here’s my beef with stain and his ideology he wants to make a better hero society where all the heroes join because they have the most Nobel of intentions and they aren’t in it for the same in the money, which I can understand, but at the same time, if a person becomes a hero, because they want to help people, but also earn money to provide for their family, does this person deserve to die no but he wouldn’t fucking care, and he will just kill them, or paralyzed them if they get saved.
It's always interesting to see a storymaker insert an antagonist who's whole point is to attack and usurp the core conceit of the narrative. Obviously it doesn't work every time, but when it works it *WORKS*
What sets Garou apart from Stain is that the Hero Organization he’s targeting is far more corrupt than MHA’s ever was. There are literally heroes that gatekeep classes just for the hell of it, such as Amai Mask and Fubuki when she first ran into Saitama. Sure, the heroes in MHA are getting a lot of fame, but a lot of them have a great cause, and so does the world hero association, but OPM’s hero organization is rotten to the core. Getting into S-class if you hadn’t in the entrance exam is extremely tedious and quite difficult, no matter how strong you are or if you literally do shit that no one else can. Even if the entirety of S-class couldn’t do it, Saitama was never recognized for his achievements or promoted for that matter. Yet they were fine with completely abandoning Z-city and letting it get overrun with monsters (thus letting the Monster Association form which led to Garou being a huge problem), only serving the wealthy, throwing away everyone else and subsequently treating heroes any lower than S-class like dogs and errand boys. The system is so broken that King was able to take the 7th spot in S-class while having no strength of his own and being the victim in every fight (it’s funny, considering that Saitama killed almost every single one of the monsters that tried to kill King, yet he got the credit). On top of that, being S-class makes heroes extremely wealthy, far more than lower classes. They even go to meetings that none of the other heroes are supposed to go to (except Saitama). Only they know about the prophecy that the world is going to end, no one else. Shouldn’t informing the other heroes of such a threat be the top priority? So they can prepare and get as strong as possible? Apparently to them, it isn’t.
I’ve only watched the anime but Garou took on such a beating and kept holding his ground, I know he was a villain but he seemed to be the most noble character out of the series
Agreed. I get their scared. But they turned on the heroes WAY too quick. Like “oh, my family died”. Yeah. Lots of people’s families died. But if the heroes weren’t there. Lots MORE would have died. Sometimes I wanted to shove them in front of let’s say, gigantomachia and say “ok, you fight the giant walking mountain and see how it goes.”
Stain is easily my favorite my hero academia character, he is legit bad for justified reasons. Garou is legit about that life bodying heroes as well. These two as a tag team would be goated
The thing is with Stain is that while his actions are unjustifiable and extreme, he was kinda correct. Not all heroes were strong and noble which led to the downfall of Japan when the facade cracked. After Shigaraki started messing people up many pro heroes left and Japan was f’ed up, not believing in the heroes anymore since they were not strong enough to protect them or to continue the fight in the case of heroes such as Death Arms who quit. Garou, on the other hand, was attacking heroes just because some kids bullied him, heroes below S-Class are worthless and he believes monsters should have a chance for all the hard work they put into murdering people. Garou has a sad backstory but his motives aren’t very justifiable. Just because Mumen Rider can’t beat Boros (to Garou’s knowledge. We all know Justice Crash solos Boros) doesn’t mean heroes who can’t level cities don’t matter. Those heroes take care of lesser threats that we don’t see because they don’t matter, since the heroes take care off them. For example, it King didn’t intervene with the wolf level tongue monster a C or B class hero would be able to deal with that without taking time and energy away from the S class heroes who are needed to fight against bigger threats. Garou was cool and had a fantastic story but his actions are pretty unjustifiable
stain he is willing to kill kids garou might be misguided stain kills every hero that doesn't bring pure intent which destroy any potential for the heroes
I stain doesn’t have a point. The only person who would have been able to stop that is all might regardless. Because AFO is so above the others than only All Might is strong enough to stop him.
I choose stain before but I change my mind. Stain says that he wants to bring a true hero but does he understand there is no such thing as a true hero…, hero’s are human too and they are driven by emotion, they try there best but they are still humans. Stain forgot that hero’s are still humans, garou didn’t.
This is a question of who had the better goal but worse actions to reach it. Or a worse foal and batter actions. To some extend I do believe the ends can justify the means. However Stains means undercut his ends. He's not targeting corrupt heroes who abuse their power/ authority, he's targeting day to day average heroes who actually do their job.

Through Garou weve gotten a solid answer to who can spit game and back it up, who are real heroes, and who are the scum.
Garou concluded that only a world wide threat can force the world to set aside their differences. So he decided to be this threat himself.
Fun enough one of the webcomic chapter talks about the history of the world and pretty much confirm that the only reason mankind still exist is because a great treat forced everyone to put their differences aside.
And he was right
"It's not a nice job, but someone has to do it"
Garou.... "This world shall know pain" headass

Garou definitely wanted to be the hero but gave up when he was a kid, as he felt sympathy towards the villains in the shows he watched, due to being bullied. And when he responded to the abuse, he wasn't met with comfort and understanding, or even someone that would listen to his side. He was met with hostility and dismissal, like he himself wasn't worth the effort to be treated well because he was the "villain."

Stain's dream isekai would be Marvel or DC under optimistic writers.
That until the Hulk breaks every bone in his body
Nah, his dream would be DC’s Dark Multiverse
They won't necessarily work hard though. We've seen heroes in MHA who prioritize making money through sponsorships over saving people.

@@nani4249 not saying hes justified at all, just better then stain since stain does both (kill people and cause damage)
Garou went the Lelouch route
Garou is a bully and a victim he’s different than stain or Lelouch. He’s basically sees himself as a victim yet he bullies others and want to opress the world. He’s a victim of bullying than became a bully. But ultimately he’s good guy. If he wasn’t saitama would’ve killed him. He’s not a monster either, saitama is the only character that saw him as a human rather than what he appeared to be.
Imagine being a hero who’s money goes to funding charity and Stain still is like “nah son you only in it for the bag.”
Garous motivation reminds me of Ozzy Mandies from watchmen in that create a threat so big the world has to unify against it.
Except nope that’s not what stain was doing Lmfao. He was attacking heroes based on his own opinion
Garou is LITERALLY Nagito. He’s becoming the hurdle the heroes can vault over to make the world the way it should be.
A wise man once said: “There are those who agree, and those who understand.”
Basically he does all the wrong things for all the right reasons.
Garou was a villain trying to be the strongest monster… but he was fighting with a heart of a hero.
Thanks for showing the 2 moments where I was like "You know what, maybe Stain had a point..."
Garou really out here pulling a Lelouch from Code Geass. They must become the evil so everyone can unite to take them down.

At times i don't know what the fandom be smoking cause it took a 200+years old being that can steal quirks to make an overcomplicated plan, a super modified human, an entire army of zombies on steroids to "crumble" the hero society. Hell the Meta liberation front would have been crushed by the hero society without AFO and Shigaraki,
Stain's ideals are completely backwards.
He thinks it's bad that society is incentivizing bad people (and even neutral people) to do good things. He's basically gatekeeping being a hero.

I can understand Stain’s reasons. We’ve seen heroes who only care about fame and fortune, there will be people like the past selves of Endeavor and Bakugo who only wanted to be heroes to be at the top of the leaderboard. To the people they used to be it was about winning and nothing else. The heroes who care about fame and fortune are realistically always the first ones to NOPE out of a situation that’s too dangerous for them because they don’t get paid enough for that shit
Edit: what I don’t approve however was his approach to the situation.
I'd love a Spider-Man series where Peter and GG's relationship is more like a workplace relationship
Stain really didn't understand how the world works.
Stain just shows how far you have to go to truly fight Corruption.
Man’s videos literally are the Bible of anime fr and I’m all here for every single last one
Honestly I feel like Garous taking this one because I can agree with his methods and morale for his actions where as Stain's motive is pretty much if he even thinks for a brief moment that you're only in it for the money he is going to drop you and put your 6 ft under

Loved the scene when Garou killed Rorschach or whatever
Garou may not have killed any heroes ( in the current timeline at least) but he did permanently injure a couple
I distinctly remember him ripping off one dude’s arm in his intro
You also realize the one punch mam world as a whole is less tame than mha was in season 2 so every hero garou takes out indirectly leads to the death of civilians as less heroes are there to fight off the monsters.
Like if edler centipede was a demon level monster instead of a dragon and metal bat had a good chance to beat the monster but instead of that he had to fight garou. Imagine if elder centipede killed 100's of children whose fault would that be.

**solo jumps you**

Stain is the type of person that calls out youtubers for making money of of their videos
Garou ask for the power of god and literally boxed the one guy who could beat him
Garou had mommy issues and was bullied as a kid. So did like half of all MC’s
bro never had mommy issues lol. hes just immature like tatsumaki
So Garou is just Lelouch but instead of his brain he uses his hands lol
I would’ve said stain but after reading vigilantes, it makes me kinda laugh at stain a bit.
It's always interesting to see a storymaker insert an antagonist who's whole point is to attack and usurp the core conceit of the narrative. Obviously it doesn't work every time, but when it works it *WORKS*
Those are the best villains because they add depth to the worldbuilding by extension
Even when garou had become a monster he was still saving people.
Stain was right because fake hero’s quit wen there life was on the line but real hero’s died for the cause
Stain wasn’t right because he didn’t go after any of those heroes and he only considered All Might and Deku real heroes
Watching anime and reading manga is always so exhilarating..
Garou knew that humanity was so fucked up that the only way to bring it together was to become a planetary threat.
I’ve only watched the anime but Garou took on such a beating and kept holding his ground, I know he was a villain but he seemed to be the most noble character out of the series
Shout out to my boy Mumen Raider for making both these mf proud 💙💙💙
Ooooo the real question fr. Character wise I prefer Garou but like in motive I think Stain
Honestly the citizens didn’t deserve to get saved in the new mha season, they were selfish asf
@@halfknight2310 right
Well i mean he said it himself "Good? Evil? I reject them both!"
I see Lelouch and Garou being best friends 😂
Stain is easily my favorite my hero academia character, he is legit bad for justified reasons. Garou is legit about that life bodying heroes as well. These two as a tag team would be goated
There is no justified reason kndao. Just because he thinks people should share his opinion doesn’t make him justified
That one scene where the heros panicked dosent mean they weren't heroes. Just that they never fought someone like that before
This is a question of who had the better goal but worse actions to reach it. Or a worse foal and batter actions. To some extend I do believe the ends can justify the means. However Stains means undercut his ends. He's not targeting corrupt heroes who abuse their power/ authority, he's targeting day to day average heroes who actually do their job.
So Garou is lowkey like Lelouch philosophically
Stain fights for a better society, Garou fight for underdogs everywhere
