You really show how to live in Socal. We used to come across coveys of Mountain Quail, up there. My Dad showed me a trick with 2wd ('59 Hillman Husky) once. We filled the back with rocks, for traction. It worked! Great times.
How are you driving the bus AND flying a drone? Love your bus. I have two 1961 buses, a double door panel, and a double cab pick-up. I used to live in Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree when l was in the military a hundred years ago. When l lived there, l had a 1956 oval l found in the classified's in the local paper. I've driven several of the trails around that area. Man, l miss the desert so much. Your videos bring back great memories.
Hey Jimi! The drone is a Skydio 2, Its GPS links to a beacon that I have inside the cabin. It has a bunch of built-in tricks it does. It's a blast to use. I do need to learn it a little better (Practice). Man, I need to hit the lower desert and warm up. LoL I just got back from a trip to the Eastern Sierras and froze my butt off. Enjoy your buses and go camping. Buses By the Bridge is coming!
Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺 We love exploring similar roads here in Oz in our Baywindow kombi. I'll share your video to some of our Facebook groups to get those subs up. Keep on cruising
Awesome, thank you! Just got back from a outing. I had some Bay Window Friends along for the ride. If the edit goes good, maybe post next Wednesday / or the next... I'm slow at editing. Peace!
Hey Larry how you doing....love coming along on your adventures....look like it got a bit knarley there at one point.... nothing you and your groovy bus couldn't handle.... Buddy!! Thanks for the rain, Very nice nap I had! That was a hard trail, The video didn't show its true grit. I was truly happy to get back on the main trail... scary stuff
@@VintageOverlandAdventures glad you enjoyed the rain....you have far to much blue sky all to yourself 😂 The cooking channel is getting better too 😂😂😂 🤙🙏🤙
Hey Barry welcome aboard! A life time of adventure on dirt roads and trails to be had in California. Secret - I find them on Google Maps and do research so I don't die... LoL By the way, I'm so happy you enjoyed the videos. Peace!
Hey Peter, Thanks for watching! I'm going to do some mod and repair video over the next couple weeks to prep for the fall & winter outings. 108f here today and that is a little nasty to be playing around in the Mojave Desert in a old Bus... LoL Peace
I got some pro Camera tips from a guy. I wrote them down and made sure I captured them. :o) Thanks for the kind words! I have a lot to learn. So better to come.
Is your bus 4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive? I use to drive a 88 VW Jetta up and down dirt mountain roads, never got stuck but I had a lot of fun. I'm having a good time watching your bus traverse the scenic landscape.
Nothing in the plans, But, Maybe it would make a good Snow trip run, I'll keep a eye on the weather. 😉There's a large rock with a natural Face on it I would like to find. So Snow and something to explore sounds like a good adventure to me!
Hey William! It's a Brake Light off a old School Bus. It's worth $40. US = Few gallons of gas.... LoL The Hot/ Rat Rod Guys & Gals like them. Somebody would be happy to own it if your not fond of it. Thanks for the love on the videos!!! :o) - Larry
