I’ve been a subscriber of Trail Recon for little over a year but didn’t realize you had a channel as well until about a week ago. I’ve been watching both of the same trip yet your take of the trip is still unique. Love your content and cooking ideas. 🤘
It happened on a strip where the road was wide... 392's running side by side yeah my 392 with 3.73's and a trick 392 with 4.56's... tach it up, tach it up, Bradley gonna shut you down!!! Safe travels, Perry. Cool video Marco
Marco Carolyn and I loved this publication as usual. They always get the appetite going. We can't wait to try some of those recipes. Cheers keep on trucking 👍🤠
Marco another great adventure out in your 392, you make it look so easy both with your camp set up to the great meals that you share with us. Keep’em coming and as always can’t wait for the next one an to see what gears you go with!
Thanks for sharing another great recipe! My girlfriend and I were camping this weekend and made your Adobo Chicken Burrito (your recipe was with tuna but you said chicken would work, too). Delicious! Thumbs up from two happy, well fed campers!! 👍👍
We have a 2019 Rubicon Wrangler Unlimited that had serious steering issues. We installed the Synergy Jeep JL / JLU / JT Front Track Bar and Sector Shaft Brace, and the Synergy Jeep JL / JLU / JT Steering Correction Kit. Our Jeep steers like a dream now. I hope this will help you with your problem. Also we upgraded the electric steering box to the latest year model, but yours already has that.
@@OVRLNDX My wife and I have been watching you on Brad’s channel for years. We love your channel too. Thank you for all the awesome adventures we have been able to watch. We now are considering getting a 392. They sound so amazing!
You and Brad racing at the beginning was great, I love to see your perspective of this trip. Always love your content Marco, as always, very well done! The meal in the restaurant looked ok at best, no where near as good as Chateau Marco.
I've done this trip once. My wife and I really need to get out there and hit the trails. I just dropped off my 2016 jku at the Temecula 4 wheels parts to install a 4" teraflex rt4 kit with ir long arms. I can't wait, blessings 🙏
Hey marco, I remember when you and brad went to utha to test few jeeps, and he ask you which jeep you will buy and you said 392 and went for the diesel. Now both of you guys have a 392s. Hopefully you guys take this beautiful machines on the trip to Alaska. Nice adventure and awesome cooking.. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Its always great to go Jeeping with a great as Brad. Those tacos looked amazing as always and I glad glad brought a propane bottle to cook with in the morning. Enjoyed the video as always. Keep it safe
Nicely done! I was already a subscriber to Trail Recon, and just found your channel through Brad's mention. I had not watched for a few months, and now am catching up. Love the cooking! Also love the discussions about the 392s. I've had the V6, and now have the diesel. I'm heading to the 392 ... it's a learning and driving progression for sure. Thank you! Looking forward to more.
We had a similar issue with our Gladiator Diesels Steering. Ended up going with RPM Steering 2.5 Ton Steering Kit for the Stock Axles (Tie Rod and Drag Link). It made a world of difference in our setup. We are running a modified Teraflex RT3 LT Short Arm with Clayton Rear Spring and RPM Steering Track Bar with Falcon 3.3 Shocks. It allows us confident driving on and off-road especially with our Alu-Cab Canopy Camper and all the weight we carry behind us. The steering Stabilizer is a falcon adjustable as well. We did before have the axle slam issue before and with the lift and jounce shocks of the kit. It totally eliminated that issue as well. Honestly, to us it is one of the best all around feeling and driving off road vehicles we have owned in our past 30+ years of these vehicles, included IFS trucks that where substantially modified with Long Travel Systems. Good Luck, We will see you out there. Headed to Colorado then North to Tuktoyatuk in less than 2 weeks..
Marco needs a trip that is based around his foods - like a special taco at each special location! Years ago, On the Colorado trip he had the great idea and made a special Chili for that occasion, which was so natural and commemorative of the trip. Take that Marco concept and expand it. Make the trip an occasion of Marco food! Forza.
Thanks for taking us along Marco. I chuckled at Brad’s remark on the radio in the opening about there being a Chevron in less than six miles! Those tacos looked pretty good on a cool evening. I also hear what you are saying about 4.56 gears. I just traded my Sahara in on a newly ordered Rubicon with the XR package. 4.56 ratio from the factory should help when pulling my trailer as I should see something better than 5th or 6th gear! I really appreciate the simple style of this video. Peaceful, fun and good times making memories! Cheers!!
Looking forward to seeing a video on what you did to the 392. Saw it briefly on Brads overland expo video. I’m in the process of building mine out. Waiting on a NVM bumper as well.

I've done it a few times and even in a heavy cold rain.
Awesome video Marco..! Love to see your side of things as well, and I greatly appreciate the cooking content! I have never wanted a tuna taco in my life until seeing this video and Brads. Great job!
So much good wheeling in Big Bear! Especially in the summer! Fortunate to be just at the bottom of the hill & nearby.. Good video and need to finally put my front 60 in my JK (built 44 broke at Moab) & get back up there!
Appreciate all the work you guys do to get the shots and make the content interesting! I know it is a lot of stop and start... and going back for cameras, but it is so appreciated in the final content. The seamless flow and feel of 'being there' is outstanding. THANKS! for all you guys do to produce this outstanding content. You and Brad are some of my favorite on RUclips!!
Hey Marco! Great video and trip. I'm in the process of re-gearing my 2020 Jeep Willys. I bought it new and it came with 3.52 gears and 32" tires (V6 & 8-speed auto). I recently bought new tires - Toyo Open Country AT3's sized LT255/80R-17 (33" x 10.5" pizza cutters, fantastic tires for on/off road) and they fit perfectly on the stock Moab wheels with no rubbing or spacers needed. I tow a 2,000 lb Aliner popup camper on our camping trips. I went to the dealership and got all of the transmission gear ratio info, used an online gear ratio calculator, and am going to 4.10 gears (just waiting for axle bearings now... supply chain issues....). I'm also having a Detroit TrueTrac locker installed in the front axle while everything is opened up (keeping the factory rear TracLok locker). I like the idea of having mechanical traction without electric or air switches. Now, if you are going to 37's and liked the way Brad's Jeep drove with 4.56 gears, you may want to consider going to 4.88's to handle your trailer towing and cargo load. I'm going to 4.10's on 33's.... I can't imagine 4.56 gears being enough for 37's and towing. Use an online gear calculator to check RPM's to decide. Also, and a big also, you'll need to have the transmission re-programmed for the larger tire size. Even switching from 32" to 33" tires on my Jeep affected shifting and it hunts for gears on the highway. Anyway, besides all of that stuff, the trip looked great, and as always, what a tremendous meal you fixed up serving some fantastic looking tuna taco's! If interested, my Jeep and how I camp/eat is on IG at azcamperpete. Keep living well and I'll be looking for your next camping/cooking adventure. Peace! Pete - KI7LIL
I've only just found your Chanel recently maybe about 2 months now and WOW what an AMAZING Chanel you have here. I'm from Australia and your overlanding compared to ours is MUCH different but so amazing!!!! Love you Chanel and content and hopefully one day you guys will come to Australia!
I found you and your channel through TrailRecon and am so glad I did. You’re a true artist with your culinary skills and I can’t wait to be in California this coming thanksgiving week all the way from Texas. I look forward to visiting some of the areas I’ve seen in your videos.
Nice work. Michelle and I were just up in Big Bear doing some simple trails there. We were at Pioneertown last year. Gotta put 2+2 together with that Burns Cyn trail! It looks great. Marco, I hope we run into you out there in the countryside someday and can MOOCH a meal!!! Que rico, amigo! :)
Enjoed the video. You're very kind to check on the guys at the other camp and to be social, I like that. Do you ever see snakes out there? It's something I'm wary about in the warmer months.
Great video you guys. Cool listing to the chit chat between you too with the filming steps you guys take. I can’t wait to get my light bar soon for my 392. Hopefully KC will drop the email soon 👏🏻 love seeing your 392 with it and just know I’m going to love it on my White 392 also.
Hola Sr Marcos : soy de chiriqui un pequeño pueblo en Panama; no hablo ingles pero me facinas sus videos. Lo felicito son muy ilustrativos sobre todo las recetas. Chao.
You probably re-geared by now but I recently got 4.88s on my JK. I’d recommend 4.88s because of the trailer. It was the best decision I’ve made for my rig thus far.

The tacos look great! I need to figure out that chile prep! Tell us how the Jeep reliability is going! I am still considering a 392. I am very interested in reliability as that is very important to me. Looking forward to the next video! I watch all of the video from you and Trail Recon.
Awesome, I live in the Ozarks now, I grew up in Riverside, we used to go up there a long time ago, pretty cool to see, gonna try your tuna Taco out soon, wife really likes that tuna...
Great job Marco, looks like an awesome time. Maybe one day you could cook some Paella in the woods, I would love to see that. I enjoy your videos in general and especially the cooking.
Hey Marco! We were in Big Bear too last weekend. It was a bit windy and just above freezing at night. Have you tried an electric blanket with temperaycontrol on it? It keeps the bed warm, and it doesn't heat up the air that you breathe in. Plus it's safer than a propane heater. I prefer cold air and warm bed, but that's just me. The blanket uses about 20-50w /hour, depends on the heater level. It runs around 50-100w when it's on, but it turns on and off periodically. FYI, If you do get an electric blanket, make sure it has an adjustable timer to at least 6-8 hours. Some of them will shut off after 2-4 hours and there's no way to adjust it. Anyway, back to your video, I'm only half way through it. I just thought I'd pause to write you a long comment🤣 Enjoy! 👊😎
@@OVRLNDX I've just sent you the link, but I assume RUclips removed the message because it contains a link. Is there a way for you to still see the message?
Great content guys I don't even watch TV anymore, I look for yours & Brads videos 👍 I do need to find your recipe for the salsa with chile de arbol, I can almost smell the chile en aceite salsa thru my phone 😄
Marco, great video as always. Love the relationship you and brad have and it’s always nice to see it through both of your lenses. Quick question, what are those sunglasses you have in the later part of the video, they look awesome and might need to pick up a pair. Thank you and many blessings.
Great video Marco! Finally got my 392 XR in about a month ago. Super excited to watch you and Brad drive yours together. I’m actually getting my roof rack installed off my old jeep on my new one at rhino adventure gear in San Marcos. Cody told me you were recently there! Great dudes at that shop. I’m headed out to Overland West in a couple of weeks. Are you guys coming out? It would be great to finally meet you guys since I’m just up the road and Temecula lol
Great video thank you for sharing your trip I have one question did your roof rack comes with reinforcement for the weight like rhino???I really like arb base but I been watching a bunch of videos and no info thank you again and see you on the trails🤙🏼

I just thought I'd pause to write you a long comment🤣
Enjoy!
👊😎
That’s awesome!! I will look into an electric blanket! Which one do you use?

Marco, great video as always. Love the relationship you and brad have and it’s always nice to see it through both of your lenses. Quick question, what are those sunglasses you have in the later part of the video, they look awesome and might need to pick up a pair. Thank you and many blessings.
Thank you so much!!!! Yes!! These are from Smith Optics
