When I first heard "Love on a Real Train" in Risky Business in 1983 I was hooked. I feel the same way 39 years later after hearing this AWESOME version! It never gets old. Time of MY life!
I hear this song … and suddenly a gentle breeze is blowing against Rebecca DeMornay’s silk negligee while she stands by a window. And that scene has lived rent free in my head for 30 years or more now
@@nickj4281 It was 1983 and while watching Risky Business I knew this song defined a new ERA. It was equivalent to watch The Matrix in 1999, nothing can compare - Before or After. BC/AD. This song is Timeless!
Synthethizers have such an emotional power on music and ears. Don´t understand why people let that go over the years. This song not only reminds me good times back then, but also brings emotions of current things.
Fantastik song, One of their better renditions. Was introduced to the song by State Azure cover. I had never heard of the band B4. Still on my regular playlist. Often listen to 1st thing to start day with a happy, healthy attitude.
Just seen today "Risky Business" again, wow , great memories associated with it, one of my fav teenage movies..Love TD since I was a child, my elder sister had "Stratosfear LP and we listened to it..They were the future..And they are..
A few thousand people have watched this and it's so creative, but hey! what are we to compare this music with the music of some Kids who be watched by millions! No chance to win this comparison.
“What if changing the world was just about being here, by showing up no matter how many times we get told we don’t belong, by staying true even when we’re shamed into being false, by believing in ourselves even when we’re told we’re too different? And if we all held on to that, if we refuse to budge and fall in line, if we stood our ground for long enough, just maybe… The world can’t help but change around us.” Mr. Robot
love the electronic violin add, fits really well, tangerine dream , listening to them since i was a child, germany was so innovative in the electronic music back them, parents of electronic music, isao tomita, kitaro, vangelis, jean michel jarre, tangerine dream, moroder... synths i really missed them...
It's all about patience ,off beat, a touch of pink Floyd and opeth, so serine and yet so powerful ... memory lanes ,one actually doesn't need any stimulant to get high just this music and mother nature...
I would absolutely love the spacial laser grid to accurately represent a graphical vision of the actual music being played... perhaps the area over a given instrument isolating its part, with a composite being shown as emanating from the center
Un Ricky Bussines, his father think about him that he was a mess... Then this music sound... He smile and think about what he did... And smile again.... What wonderful image...
I love Tangerine Dream; I've been to their concert in Chicago in 1985; they still could not speak English yet! I have every one of their albums plus the Movie albums they played in!
I spent my entire life chasing after this feeling.
I know what you mean! Me too.
Totally drug free experience!
I will never get tired of listening to this. It's timeless.
I never get tired of reading your comments. You're timeless.
Me too.
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!!!! ME, TOO!!!!

Me too, I was hooked. Absolutely timeless piece of genius!
That’s where I first heard it and have never stopped listening. Awesome ✌️
Same thing , Risky Business!
Same, the whole soundtrack is way before its time, so euphoric it’s unbelievable, takes you in a complete journey, unbelievable really
If this doesn't get played at my funeral I'm not going...
I concur - I will see you there - I mean in the next one
I don't know about funeral...what about living it..real time! Now 2024😉

When this movie came out in 1983, I was blown away with the soundtrack more then the movie, also the movie 3 o'clock High.
Fcking WOW! I didn't expect that. I'm fcking crying listening to this.

The fathers of the Synthwave
One of the finest pieces of creative music...
This is surreal….. I can clearly see this song in 2052 playing and will not feel old…..
What a specific year, you a time traveller?

Past, Present and Future : Tangerine Dream !!
No. That album was Al Stewart
Got Froese's autograph early 2014 at Cruise to the Edge, what a lucky man I was! He will be long missed.... glad Thorsten kept it going.
lucky indeed
Edgar Froese legacy still live... "The dream it's always the same..." and it's still and always in memories of my young years and in my mind...
Froese did some music for Babylon-5.
Mesmerizing, it takes me to another world.
The Electric violin is impressive.

RELEVANT TO THE MOMENT AS THE IDEAS FLOW. BRAIN SPARKING. THANK YOU ENORMOUSLY.
This is dynamite! Great version🎹❤️👍🏽
Layers of sound that overlap elegantly and soothes.
My intro to real electronic music. Been hooked ever since. Their sound track to “thief” is excellent as well.
Thorsten plays live and very well. That is the admirable difference to many other electronic acts.
This is one of the greatest things I’ve ever heard.
A few thousand people have watched this and it's so creative, but hey! what are we to compare this music with the music of some Kids who be watched by millions! No chance to win this comparison.

Risky Business introduced me to this song, the awesome cinematography and paired with this: wow, a complete dream is what I experienced.

Love (on a Real Train) it! Hope Tangerine Dream tours again in America soon!
