  • This is a video series about some higher principles I've learned about Faith in Jesus Christ, life, and reality that the Lord has taught me through my interest and practice of weightlifting. God teaches you through what you are interested in.

For anyone watching, around 4:30 - 9:00 there are some valuable truths shared about how God teaches us through the circumstances we face in life. Great lessons here. They are worth replaying a few times, thinking about how God has taught you in life, what higher order principles you can derive from them, and what other situations in life you can transfer those lessons to.

I love this video. Thanks for sharing. It has me thinking about how the Lord is teaching me through what I focus on. The analogs between weightlifting and spiritual growth is enlightening.

This is so true and appreciate the way you laid it out, which caused me to pick up things I hadn't realized before. I've seen a lot of parallels between the gospel and weight lifting (and even more now). I start my mornings doing strength straining or cardio as a way to prime my mind and self for the challenges of the day. In other words, I begin my day with friction to get myself in the mindset for tacking other challenges.

@@jathatch4884 For sure thank you. The more I think about it the more parallels there are. The momentum in the morning has been big for me in making positive changes.
